Review Dome - Victoria Park

Brunch at Dome, we had the big brekky and ham and eggs hollandaise. Service was fast, food hot and tasty. One egg slightly overdone. Drinks we had large choc a block and banana burst, lots of cream on choc drink.

After finishing night shift at 6am this morning. I decided to make my way to Dome for some breaky and a hot chocolate. From the moment I came in the door I was greeted and welcomed in. When I ordered my meal I was just starving and didn't care.. But after eating that I know it was made with LOVE. BEST DAMN BREAKY IVE HAD IN A WHILE.

I have been here more than 500 times for this 3 years and can’t get enough to come back. Continuously served nice flavourful coffees, friendly services and better armchairs than what we got at home. Always packed with locals. Same as most Dome cafes do, they got a nappy change in a easy-access and wide bathroom. Relaxing atmospheres as if we are at “Home” rather than “Dome”. There are colouring and puzzles with a set of colouring pencils to play at Dome and take them to home. I love their generous size of the iced latte after a long walk. And my kids love $1 babycino with marshmallow.

The service was great when the girl came but waited for 30 minutes for service and then waited for the coffee and food. Was very busy and short staff the food great

So that we could responds and give attentions with your comments/ feedback. In Dome Victoria Park we do our best to listen what our customers required especially their experience in drinking their coffees ( if your coffee you order is not what you order .. our guests can immediately and pls do not hesitate to ask our staff that this is not your coffee you wanted or ordered) ; Our rules under Dome Vic Park - in any food orders and drinks etcs - we repeated twice and sometimes when our guests have more changes we have to repeat them to trice until confirmed by our customers then we can proceeds in finalizing your payment.

Slow service, cold food, dirty cups. It took 40 minutes to bring out food and when they did the hashbrowns were cold. Not cold like they'd cooled down a little after being cooking. Cold like they'd been cooked in the first 5 minutes of us ordering and then left to wait for the rest of the food. The staff need to check their teacups before they bring them out. We had to go up and get a clean teacup.

Ask for a 1/4 strength coffee and didn't get it very disappointed maybe go to Miss Mauds at Rockingham and learn from them they make it perfect everytime

I absolutely love dome! Love the coffee and especially the espreski's that they do. My favourite lunch time treat would have to be the chicken, cheese and avocado focaccia. Staff are always friendly and the cafes are always warm and welcoming. Great value for money!<br/>

Not impressed.  Went there to have an afternoon tea and ordered scones.  By the time they came out I had finished my coffee and the scones were toasted!  Who on earth toasts scones!  Very disappointing.  Won't be returning prefer the one in East Vic Park.

Friendly and cozy place with plenty of big fat sofa to just chill with friends! They have extensive list of drinks and beverages - although the menu can be confusing as they have 3 or more pages describing the same group of drinks. Food and cakes are also available. More importantly though, the staffs are very friendly and polite and they didn't mind us sitting there for hours.

Our coffee were OK, buy the food wasn't great. I ordered a salad niçoise which wasn't good. The salmon was dry and has no taste apart from a burn smell. You could feel that the olives just came out of the jar and the salad has no vinaigrette to go with.<br/>Overall no a great experience

This Dome is absolutely top notch - every time I go there for a Sunday morning breaky it's the best. Make sure you get the Eggs Hollandaise because it's delicious. I also had a peak in the kitchen and the chef was pretty cute ;)

Living in the south perth area, we are very lucky to have an abundance of great coffee shops to choose from. Unfortunately at night, there are very limited options as the majority close at 4pm ish. So last night, needing a coffee at 8pm we headed to dome Vic park. The lady serving was friendly and we received our 2 coffees and cake in no time at all. Coffees were nice, however the cake was a tad dry. Overall a nice evening coffee.

The lemon slushy is deliciously tart, can't say the coffee is nice. At times the coffee is made too hot and the coffee tastes burnt or the machine hasn't been cleaned.

Had a Sunday breakfast with my family here. A bit crowded as it was Valentine's day and we have to wait for 10 minutes to have a table. Food was served after half an hour, the Dome staff who served our food apologized for the wait thou. Food is nice and the servings are big. My daughter loved the beef lasagne. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection. The salmon with holandaise sauce is just ok but you could have a better one elsewhere. <br/><br/>In general, we had a pleasant Sunday breakfast and would be coming back soon.

Dome does a Starbucks, n steps up even.<br/>I tried out the Victoria park on outlet & was quiet happy landing up!<br/>We ordered ice coffee, chocolate mocha, regular mocha, lemon tart, orange cake.<br/>The ice coffee with its whipped cream was blended quite well..<br/>The choc mocha, tasted absolutely brilliant with its chochlaty swirl!<br/>Coming to the pastries the lemon tart & the orange cake were HUGE!! It took a lot of love n sharing to finish it!<br/>With a polite staff, great ambience & good parking options I think this must a be a winner! Of the lane :)

I had some bad experiences with Dome Cafe's in the past - dirty cup, cold eggs etc, but Dome in Vic Park has reset my view. This cafe is an absolute gem of consistency - nice cafe environmental, always good food and stellar staff! Keep up the good work!

Dome is always pretty disappointing whether it's for coffee or if I'm being dragged here for food. The quality is pretty bad but that's to be expected.

Hi Dome Vic Park, thank you for a very good service the other day for me and my other 8 friends. Our drink order came really swiftly and your staff greeted us with great smiles.

Very friendly neighbourhood feel at this cafe, the staff are nice and have worked here a long time. It is quite cosy but still with nice big chairs and free wifi.

Disappointed.  Ordered the Eggs Benedict and instead got a hard boiled egg with Hollandaise sauce.  The egg of course should have been runny but had been way overcooked and was basically inedible as you can see from the photo.

Myself and my friend decided to eat at Dome after a closeby cafe decided they didn't want to serve breakfast anymore... Well Dome, I'm impressed! My poached eggs with smoked salmon were delicious and well priced for how much food was served! Well done!

MissDisappointed. Need to update phone number on websites as this one is the same as East Victoria Park, across from Balmoral. Placed an order for take away, got there only to be told I had not ordered from there even though I had checked on the site before I called to ensure the number was correct so this would not happen. The young man who served me did not deal with it well, was rather rude about the matter and argued when I was happy to just re-do my order there. We got there in the end.

The Victoria Park Dome Cafe is located on the corner of Albany Highway and McMaster street, opposite a funeral parlour. As sip on my cappuccino and look out the window I am reminded of the inevitable future. Although this Dome Cafe may appeal to the Adams Family it's certainly not my favourite place to sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

Service with a smile. This place is fantastic!! The girls here do a wonderful job, GREAT coffee, speedy & tasty food & service with a smile! Lauren is a bundle of joy to watch as she lights up the faces of regulars & newbies alike! A real asset. Then there's a lovely Philippino (I think) girl, a blondie who makes great coffee & an Asian lady whom works her bum off!! Keep it up girls, love ur work!

Best Dome in Perth. Friendly staff...great location...only place in Vic Park to go for a Coffee and cake.

Good. This is one of the better Domes in Perth. Pleasant, relaxing atmosphere at any time of day in a nice location.

Boo to chains in Vic Park!. Why would you go here when there are so many fantastic original cafes to choose from? I bought a coffee here before the ANZAC day service as they were the only ones open so early that morning (being across the road from the monument). Worst and most expensive coffee in Vic Park. $4.80 for a long macc and it was so weak. Absolute crap. I hate chains.

Coffee and lunch. Not a bad place for coffee and food. Definately one of the better domes out there. Service is good, food comes out fast. Overall, cant really complain :)

My partner and I love dome for their all day breakfast & Dome Vic Park was great. Coffee was lovely as usual, bit of a wait on food but worth it. My vegetarian big breakfast was beautifully cooked with a side of hollandaise sauce. E's bacon & eggs were great with the eggs cooked perfectly. A big change from the horrible service and food last weekend at Dome South Perth.

As domes go, this is a good one. This Dome is conveniently situated at the end of our street, so we have developed a little Saturday breakfast habit here. The best part of this Dome is definitely the staff - they are all very nice and friendly, they recognise that we are regulars, and look after us accordingly. Coffee at Dome, while not the greatest coffee I've ever had, is still fairly consistent, and, best of all for me, is always served HOT. Hooray! no coffee nazis! Having said that, the breakfast is not as consistent. Oh, except for the scrambled eggs, which are always, always cooked to within an inch of their lives. I think it's a pre-mix, not actual fresh eggs, I may be wrong, but whatever, sometimes they are so overcooked they are inedible. Why not get some other sort of egg, you ask? I dunno. I love me a good scrambled egg, and I suppose I just live in hope they'll get it right one day. However, It's a great little spot, the people who work there are very nice, it's clean and comfortable and comforting.

Finally good service. It is such a pleasant change to find a place in Perth with good service. The staff here are always friendly and happy to help. They give the kids stickers and have treats and water for your dog. The coffee is always consistent and the greek lamb salad is delicious.

Finally, Great Service at Dome. The service was great. For the first time ever at a Dome, the staff actually didn't lean across you whilst you were talking and clear your plates, then ask if you want anything else whilst you are trying to hold a business meeting. I was a bit apprehensive about going to yet another Dome with bad service, but this place is great. It's on the old Farrells site, but don't let that throw you... the aircon seems to have been upgraded because it actually works now. The staff were the best I have seen in a Dome like I said... it's like they actually enjoy their jobs here. Maybe it's because they have a good boss. They smile and say "Cya Later" when your leaving even across the cafe. The food was just as good. I ordered off the specials menu two scones jam and cream.... perfection, best I have had anywhere at any cafe. The way the little buggers came out all warm and toastie was perfect. I didn't know it but you can now ask for any of those Coffee "Espreskis" in chocolate rather that with traditional coffee..... Not being a coffee drinker... this was also perfect. Sat outside in the little balcony style area... great little spot. I'll be back for sure.

Meh. Service here at Vic Park Dome is always wonderful with cheery and helpful staff, but what can I say? Dome is Dome. I cannot marvel at the food or even the drinks. I'd rather a hot chocolate from Crumpet on the same block so something mildly impressive.<br/><br/>It's fine to go to for somewhere familiar, just to meet people, but nothing exciting. If only Crumpet had the space of dome.

Consistantly Great. I frequent this cafe and the staff are always super friendly and actually provide service (a thing which is sadly lacking in Perth restaurants). <br/><br/>The food is always great and the coffee is amazing!!<br/>Great atmosphere and High Vibe!!<br/>This is my number one place to meet friends for a quick coffee or a lazy weekend brunch.

Love it. I go to Dome's regularly but I must say this one is a stand out! I always receive friendly service, the staff know my name and have my coffee started as soon as they see me. It's really nice to see such a happy team so early in the morning, always with a smile on their faces. I will definitely be back, again and again :)

Friendliest staff, great food and service. It's clearly evident from the other reviews that this Dome has the most awesome staff, my boyfriend and i come here every weekend for breakfast, and usually 1 weeknight here and there for dinner. I really trust their cleanliness (as im a clean freak) and the staff at both of the Dome's in Vic Park & East Vic Park are unbelievably nice! We have never left without receiving a goodbye from one of them, and never entered without a ''hey guys!' and a massive smile. Makes such a difference, all the places i go now have such rude staff! (most of the time) But yeah, i really recommend this place. awesome food and menu, awesome staff, and really fast service - even on the busy days

Nice surprise. Am not normally a fan of "chain" cages but was happily surprised at the Dome in Vic Park. Dropped in while looking for a bit of breakfast and firstly impressed with all the staff - friendly and professional, which sadly is getting a little uncommon these days. Decor was nice and what an extensive menu. We settled for poached eggs on toast with side serve of salmon. Eggs done perfectly and coffee was great to. Big tick.

Fantastic. Not normally the biggest fan of Dome cafe's - but I can honestly say this dome is fantastic. The coffee is always perfect, the food is great and the staff are super friendly and professional. Will be back - often....
