Review Pachi Pachi - Victoria Park

Tricia Ong
Great value, well executed, yummy dishes. All this for $56! Ample parking along street and nearby. Outdoor toilet is an adventure, management have definitely tried their absolute best at striking balance between budget and ambience. Will definitely be back. Can get busy, so call up for reservations. Will be back when I'm in the area

Tamarind Lollipop Chicken and Sambal Nasi Goreng (fried rice) was the high lights of our dinner. Feel sorry for the staffs as so understaffed and running around mad between the diners' orders and Uber pickups.

The place has a nice mix of Chinese, Japanese Thai and Malaysian /Indonesian food to choose from. Nothing too adventurous but what they do, they do well. We enjoyed our dishes, and the serving sizes and service was nice. They are a byo place. Their prices are quite reasonable.

@PachiPachiPerth serves a variety of dishes across Asia. We chose the steamed dumplings, duck green curry, their signature fiery angry birds chicken poppers, and prawn with crispy egg floss. The steamed dumplings with sweet spicy chilli bean sauce are on point, tender, tasty filling and a light dish to start before the flavours amp up in the following dishes. The fiery angry birds comes at spice level 1 tingle, 2 mild, 3 medium, up to 5. We chose 2 but found it didn't have much heat and thought 3 would have been better. Despite that, the chicken poppers are really tasty and moorish. The prawn with crispy egg floss is unique and nothing like I've tasted before. I think if the floss were a little more crispy it would have elevated the dish that bit further, but the flavour is superb and I kept coming back for more. The green duck curry is fantastic, oozing a coconut cream richness, a subtle chilli kick and balanced against sweet juicy lychee and tender slices of duck with steamed rice to soak up the curry, this is divine. #AsianFood #dumplings #chickenpoppers #prawn #greencurry #duck #foodie #perthfood #victoriapark @zomatoperth

Love it! Dinner for two and ordered the Orange Beef and Mee Goreng with Beef. The Orange Beef was perfection. Mee goreng was slightly salty, but overall still great. Good service too. Place can be really crowded on the weekends, so make sure you have a reservation. Other menu we ordered before: Fried prawn with mayo and candied cashews (Love this one!), Angry Bird Level 2 - good for a bit of spice, but not spicy at all, and Chicken Nanban. Will be back!

Another cracking dinner. The menu has so many dishes, that you want to eat, they you will need a couple of visits to get through your, that sounds amazing dishes. We started with Angry Birds - level 4 and was stunning in flavour and heat! Tempura prawns, Barramundi Symphony, Singapore Noodles, Japanese Curry. What a stunning time. Photos provided are photos in action, not insta perfect! Get a booking, BYO, done with some friends/family, enjoy a cracking night.

Very yummy Asian food. The karage was crunchy and tasty. The sambal seafood rice was spicy and delicious with good amount of prawns and seafood in it. The pad Thai was scrumptious. Definitely will be coming back.

Definitely worth a visit, never a bad experience. The food is just amazing! My husband had the prawns with egg floss and said "it's possibly one of the best things Ive eaten" and continued to talk about how delicious it was on our drive home. Other comments made at the table were "it's one of the best curries he had" "just beautiful" "Pad Thai was yummy". They have vegan options, gluten free options and the servings are huge. Many thanks to the staff for their friendly and attentive service and the chef(s) for their amazing work!

Unpretentious, Delicious, Great value! For a change of pace we popped into Pachi Pachi on a relaxing Sunday evening. The first thing you'll warm to is the cosy interior, funky yet casual ambience. Service with a smile from the cute waitress (kawaii!!) who bopped along to the music the whole evening. You can just tell when people love their job! We tried the Angry Birds at "Boss Level" (tender chicken drumetts laced with varying levels of hotness). These were very different to any other chicken we've tried in Perth, very fusion, huge serving size (we ended up taking away). Hot and spicy enough to challenge even the most seasoned tastebuds yet comfortably edible to have you coming back for more. Next main dish was the Barramundi Symphony, crisp fried Barra fillet topped with ginger, garlic, chillies, scallions, coriander and seafood sauce. The texture was biscuit crispy as the crackle of my first bite echoed through the room, soon flooded with the intense fusion of quality ingredients. Filleted to perfection, you can scoff this down with no risk of fish bones slowing you down! I also loved the large size of the dish at a ridiculously affordable price! The pineapple and vege fried rice was simply nice. Well fried without any sogginess. Well balanced against the superstar dishes we were already demolishing! For drinks we had the Taro Latte which was perfect! This drink alone would be worth stopping by for. Super smooth, sweetly flavoursome without being hammered by sugar. For dessert.. (Yes we had room for dessert cos we took away the Angry Birds) we had Black Forrest Hong Kong style waffles!! Omg.. This dessert topped off our dinner adventure with a generous serving of fresh berries swimming amongst not one but two mountainous scoops of chocolate ice cream, smothered over chewie HK style waffle balls. Pachi Pachi? Yummy Yummy!

I loved this place sooo much when I had brunch the other day that I decided to came back for dinner and how I wish I didn't. We came in a group of 4 and we made a booking 4 days in advance, knowing it would be busy due to it being Mother's Day. The restaurant was packed, and the chairs were stacked so closely that the waiters hardly had any room to move, which was such a hazard for not only the waiters but also for the diners. They also overbooked so a few people had to wait despite having made bookings. So we ordered a few dishes to share and they were chicken gyoza, pad Thai, Genghis Khan, chicken karaage, Angry Birds, laksa and Malaysian chicken curry. The chicken gyoza were average, the skin was quite chewy and it didn't have the golden crispy exterior. Pad Thai was lacking in flavour, the noodles stuck together and there was no smokiness (wok hei) coming from it. Gengkis Khan and chicken karaage received good feedback from my friend. The laksa was quite average, it wasn't creamy enough but the Malaysian chicken was rather enjoyable. Last but not least, I ordered the Angry Birds extra extra spicy... What I received was beautifully cooked chicken, but it was more salty than spicy in my opinion. Overall we did not enjoy our dinner too much, except my taro latte was beautiful just how I remembered it the first time. The service was excellent though, even though it was super busy the staff remained polite and professional, which is such a pity because I felt like it's the size of the menu that created the struggle. You guys have 45 items on the dinner menu, we ordered 7 and none of which would convince us to come back to dinner a second time. Just cull it down and concentrate on a few yummy things guys.

I was heading somewhere else and walked past this place but liking the vibe that had come from it I went back and had my coffee there. Always on the hunt for something different on a menu I ordered Honey Brick toast as well. It was amazing I can’t wait to go back again. There is a version with chocolate but I don’t tend to eat chocolate unless it’s in a bar but I can imagine that must be good too. The girl who served me was wonderful, very helpful and made me feel welcome.

service was nice, friendly staff, the quality of food was average, large portion, reasonable price

Wonder Chinese New Year dinner.... The food was spectacular...Golden tempura prawns with melon and wasabi mayo; Whole fried barramundi with scallions, chilli and herbs; Kungfu spicy chicken drummettes; Sticky orange beef; tamarind pad thai; Matcha and taro frappes; and Teh Tarik (milk tea) pannacotta. 10/10 taste and reasonably priced :) Blown away.
Mimy Cranwell
Chicken Karagge bento set we ordered, karagge is too small like popcorn chicken, rice ball too oily. Taro cold drink (forgot the name) too sweet. Ice lemon tea is fine.
Emily Slevin
Yum Yum Yum! Just had the best breakfast! Everything was amazing! Highkly reccomend!
Tash Campbell
The best service I have had since living here! The food was also amazing! Thanks :)
Peta Cappelletti
Went here for breakfast, super friendly and efficient staff. Great food.

We enjoyed our dinner very much. Matsumi and staff were very friendly and helped us choose our dishes from the very innovative menu. We had the prawns with kaffir lime leaves and egg floss (lovely!), Angry Birds (tasty with Level 3 heat), eggplant chips with sambal (the best we've had) and sichuan string beans (fantastic). Our friend's mum is an excellent cook and she gave everything her stamp of approval. Recommended!
Natascha Turner
Very inexpensive and great service. The food was top quality for the price. I will be returning and soon.

The genghis sizzling beef was lovely and spicy. We also had spicy chicken wings loads of flavours. Fried squid tentacles was very bland. All in all food and service very good. Will go back

This is my go to place. Everything thing about it is bloody fantastic

Their food is to die for!!! I even have my birthday dinner there XD love their barramundi symphony and sweet sour pork! My friend had their ramen and they love it. Their smoothie blend matcha mango is my favourite, the matcha and taro latte I think is better than what I had. Recently went to their breakfast launch, avo smashed. It's something different in terms of taste and pretty appetising, it has been my favourite since. We also ordered the taro pannacotta, OMG just go try it. Words can't describe my love for it lol. They can be pretty busy throughout the day but the staff still manage to smile at everyone they served, their hard work and dedication is amazing.

Definitely some of the nicest asian food going around! Great pricing for the quality, add in fast service and friendly staff, found ourselves a new little gem
Rob Sanigar
Good coffee great friendly staff and plenty to see as life walks past😁

Nice surprise to see they offered unlimited chicken wings for $20 on a Tuesday night when we went. Who doesn't love chicken wings?! The taste was nice but we weren't able to fill up on them because they were soooooo salty! Luckily the mee goreng we ordered for the kids were ok, still on the saltier side but tolerable.

I can see why this place has so many great reviews. Excellent service and really tasty food. Well done!
We were there Friday night for dinner. Had the red duck curry and angry birds. Both were really tasty. Will definitely be back to try all the other dishes they have to offer.
Gertrudejavier
Lovely staffs. Their breakfast menu is so good. Will definitely come back.

Good portions and friendly services. The Genghis Khan beef special was very tasty. Rest of my company enjoyed their dishes. Will be returning.

Food is unique given that it's a fusion restaurant. Staff is friendly and wait times are reasonable. Highly recommend if in the area. Good value overall.

Great little cafe, always consistent with their quality of food.

I've been here for breakfast, lunch and coffee and all of my visits have been great. Love their nanban burger and ramen for brunch. Dessert is also notable with their yummy egg waffles.
Chelsea Sutherland
Friendly staff, tasty well-presented food, great prices. I had the chicken ramen and it was soooo good! Mum had the pad Thai and she also loved it. Will return soon.
Sharondefoodie
Cute fusion cafe. We ordered a few dishes to share but I have to admit I was confused by the menu. Food was nice but it was nothing to write home about. The squid was cooked well but it needed more seasoning. Dumplings were nice and so was the curry. Also they forgot my drink.
Kuruppted
Service was awesome, food was good too. Bigger plates like meat fried rice were slightly on the pricey end but overall was a good experience.
Baos and gyozas in particular were tasty.
Definitely a different twist on the fusion cuisine idea - I've had a couple of lovely meals here. The venue is bright and welcoming and the staff are upbeat and friendly. Recommended. It's also a plus that it's directly across from the Vic Park Hotel, and sometimes I give in to temptation and eat here after a few libations. :)

Had breakfast here this morning and it was delish! Highly recommended. I used my groupon voucher for $15 and i’ve still got these delicious meals 😍 Coffee is great too! 👍🏼
Mister Bean
This place is great value for money. The food is always cooked well, is tasty and cheap. There's lots of options on the menu too. Good service and friendly setting. One of my preferred eateries on the Albany hwy strip.
KG
Both the Breakfast & Dinner menu is great, always good customer service and the food is always of great quality and flavour. Decent serving sizes and will be back again

Friendly service, excellent food and good dining ambience. Nice taro latte and matcha latte. Great place to try out a variety of asian foods. Highly recommend small cafe located in Victoria Park, you won’t regret. :)
ITSFOODNET
Lovely cafe. More fusion meals than traditional but always tastes amazing.Nice ambience. Delicious breakfast! I had an avo smash and really enjoyed it. Worth what you pay for. Highly recommend!

You must go here while you're in Perth, Western Australia. Loved their Takoyaki, Pachipachi Fried Rice and Pudding! Great place for friends and fam. Also the staff is very accommodating.
Fiona
Small, casual cafe offering breakfast, lunch and dinner options. All our dishes tasted nice but rather annoying that the dishes come out separately. Our starters actually were the last to arrive which is no biggie but somewhat inconvenient when you have already started eating mains. All in all, nice place for a quick feed when in the area.
Django1
Great food, not much ambience but friendly staff make up for that. Good VFM and good choice of asian dishes. Parking in side streets is your best bet, rather than busy Albany H’Way. Bundi

To celebrate Christmas holiday. Friends decided to go out having dinner at this place. First impression was that the shop looks a bit small as a normal Coffee shop is. However, the drinks and foods in here were great. All of us loved it.
Ale
The food is very tasty and although it isn’t a fancy place, the atmosphere is very pleasant and it is clean. The staff are always friendly and the service is prompt. We have been back several times and even got takeaway because we loved it so much. I particularly love the teriyaki salmon.
Wulan Sucipto
Good food with reasonable price, the staffs are friendly and helpful. I love their porridge and pull beef Benedict. For dinner my fav is angry bird.
I.live.to.eat
came on a tuesday morning with a groupon for 2 meals (with some exclusions) for $15. service was lovely, despite there only being 1 member of staff waiting tables at the time. we ordered the eggs benny and congee. the teriyaki beef that came
with the eggs benny was pretty tasty, but the hollandaise didn’t add much to the dish at all. eggs were over cooked. congee was a bit bland and we had to add quite a bit of pepper and soy sauce. ordered a matcha latte at extra cost. it was nice but nothing special. will come back to try the more dessert-y items, but wouldn’t order either of these dishes again.

*update*
came back again to try the smashed avo dish, as well as the banana bacon waffles. poached eggs were VERY over cooked despite having asked for them to be super runny. for $16, we only got 1 piece of toast. banana bacon waffle was not as crispy as we were expecting, and quite doughy and heavy. bacon was very soggy, like they’d been cooked in the microwave.

won’t be returning now that we’ve tried all the dishes we want to try, and having those not meet our expectations.

We were heading back from Margaret River and was wanting to pick up some food before getting home. We called ahead for a takeaway order and it was ready to pick up when we stopped by (about 15 minutes).

I really liked the eggplant chips with the sambal sauce. The prawns with egg floss was also nice. I was a bit disappointed with the pad thai since I found it quite bland compared to their other dishes.

All in all it was a really tasty meal.

*Rating is a 3.5*
Had a casual dinner for 2 here recently and was quite pleasantly surprised with the food. Menu was interesting with a variety of Asian dishes. We settled on the beef bao (fluffy and delicious, highly recommend), the lotus chips (unfortunately a bit burnt but still quite good), the tempura prawns with yuzu mayo (this flavour combo worked very well together, the tempura batter was unfortunately too heavy), Buddha garden (simple but delicious) and the fried squid tentacles (a bit too oily and heavy for my taste). The cafe itself could do with a bit of an interior update to improve ambience and the menus were extremely grimy/dirty which was a big turn off in the beginning to be honest. But staff were friendly, helpful with the menu and the bill at the end was very reasonable ($30 a head without drinks). Would definitely return.

Ordered the Pachi Pachi seafood fried rice, prawns with golden floss, and the Angry Birds and it was so good! Staff members was so friendly and warm. Would definitely come again next time :)

Visited pachi pachi for the first time tonight with friends. We had a really good meal - everything was delicious and well priced. The chicken gyoza, chicken karaage, orange beef, Naughty buddha, pachi fried rice were all delicious! Would definitely recommend this place to newbies who haven’t tried and even better if you have a voucher from the entertainment book!

Been there several times. As an indonesian its rarely find a really outstanding asian restaurant that can match the food taste at home. However the foods and beverages here are just above expectancy
Tam P
The staff were really friendly and helpful with the menu. The Malaysian curry was to die for; I strongly recommend it. Fried rice was also excellent. The fried squid looked gorgeous, but tasted a bit burnt.

Went for brekkie with my sister and my son.He had the Pulled pork eggs Benedict, sister had the chicken burger and I had the sweet waffles with bacon. The eggs were amazing flavour (son was very happy). The chicken burger was nice but nothing to rave about. The waffles were really nice but so much (I don't usually do sweet) but they came with a cornflake crumb which added a nice crunch. Restaurant is small but cosy. Would we go back - maybe to try some lunch dishes.

Great breakfast. Good portions. Nice ambience and friendly staff. Comfortable seating. Taro latte very rich and delicious. Would return again

Came here with a Groupon voucher for breakfast. We did not set any high expectations but the kids and ourselves were super surprised with the dishes that came out. Presentation was great and the service was awesome.
We had a group of 5, the adults had Eggs Benedict, 2 kids had the choc berry tower brick toast (one was a brick toast but because they were running out of ready brick toasts we had the HK waffles for the other one), and one had just hash browns and bacon.
The Eggs Benedict was delicious. The pulled beef brisket was juicy and tasty. Along with two perfectly poached eggs it was a delight.
The choc berry tower brick toast was an aesthetically/visually pleasing dish. All the components balanced themselves into a perfect breakfast for old and young kids. The chocolate soil mixed in with the ice cream and the waffles were quite a tasty way to start the Friday for the kids.
We also knew that the servings were quite large so we didn't order a 5th full dish but instead supplemented with some good old fashioned bacon and hash browns.
Hash browns were slightly overcooked but still it was well made (they were hand made it was quite apparent) and the bacon was cooked to perfection.
The coffee and hot cocoa that went with all of this feasting was fresh and warm.
Kids loved it, we loved it. Thumbs up to the chef and the server.
We will re-visit, no doubt about that!

I love Pachi Pachi!!!!!!!!! Ever since a good friend showed me this place for brunch a few months ago, I've been introducing it to all my friends and family. They consistently have super warm and welcoming staff, with fantastic food and good value. I like their vibrant menu with cute tasty drinks like matcha/taro lattes and frappes. Their breakfast is the reason why this is my favourite cafe - well priced, generous servings, and heaps of unique options while still offering a twist on classics. Their Ramen and accompanying sides are also extremely filling and flavoursome. Definitely check this place out!!!!!!
India Stone
Really cute cafe and nice staff but the food was average. I had the pad Thai and it lacked flavour which was dissapointed. The pulled pork bao was also very packed of ingredients so was messy to eat. Value was good tho

Food and service is lovely. Breakfast menu is very interesting, plenty of Asian fusion dishes to choose from. I'm happy we give it a try, next time will try other dishes on the breakfast menu as they all looks worthy of trying.

Fantastic food . Fantastic service. And try the Angry Birds. Really delicious. All the dishes were great. We had a selection of dishes between 8 people. Service quick and friendly. Will definitely be back.
Perth Foodie
I dined here with a friend after hearing positive reviews and finding a voucher in the entertainment book. It didn’t live up to our expectations. The plate which holds your cutlery was dirty and the menus looked old and worn. However, the waitress was lovely and had a very nice manner. Also, the ambience of the restaurant was pleasant, despite it being a small place. We ordered the Yaki Udon and the Japanese Beef Curry. The rice for the curry was dry, but it had a reasonable amount of flavour. It could have done with a slightly stronger hit. The Yaki Udon wasn’t the best I’ve had thus far and it was covered in too many bonito flakes for my personal preference.
More Than Nourishment
We saw this place come up on a Groupon so decided to check it out. The descriptions of the dishes sounded amazing on the menu but did not deliver when it came to the table. The pork belly Turkish sandwich was dry and lacked any sambal or chilli mayo flavour. The chips were packet oven ones which were dry and sad looking. The menu said there was a side salad but the waitress insisted it meant salad in the roll itself. As for the bacon banana egg waffle.. it was nice but nothing worth raving about. All the flavour complimented each other but the egg waffle wasn’t crispy which is what I like from other places. The description also says it comes with ice cream but it was cream on the plate. I didn’t bother to ask based on the answer I got with the salad so just let it go. Taro latte was nice although bit on the sweet side. Overall I am glad I went with the Groupon as I would not pay full price for these dishes.

We had an amazing late breakfast at Pachi Pachi today. The food was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented, the service impeccable and the prices so reasonable. We'll definitely be back!!

the food is really good, is a reinvented Chinese food, with big portions and amazing flavour, ideal for sharing. we ordered online but I should say it was a little heavy.
This is my 3rd time at Pachi Pachi ,was planning to use my entertainment voucher but absolutely forgot while paying at the counter.

This cuisine here could be described as an Asian fusion with influences from namely Southeast Asia and Japanese style cooking , so if you are driving along Albany and could not decide what to eat , Pachi Pachi could well be the place for you.

Their standard fares included - ramen , mee goreng , curry dishes , fried rice . We decided on their signature orange beef , angry bird(level2), chicken fried rice and their garden Buddha dish .

Of the 4 dishes , I would recommend the angry bird and if you are in the mood go for the hottest one . It was basically fried chicken drench in Asian style spicy sauce .

Orange beef was nice but it’s technically sweet and sour dish using the orange sauce as a twist . Garden Buddha was your standard veg dish with light oyster sauce . The fried lotus roots was a nice touch though .

They had an interesting dessert - Teh Tarik panna cotta. But I was too full to give it a try .

Price wise was reasonable considering the portion .

A good plus was they had friendly staff, this was one of those place I don’t have to beg for water . It was provided on arrival .So I had to give this place an extra star for service

I ordered in a Buddha bowl and edamame beans on a weeknight and was quite impressed. Lots of yummy crunchy Vegas in a delicious sauce. I’ve popped into the restaurant before but only for coffee, I’ll definitely have to go back and try some tapas
Eunice
I can’t remember how many times I have been here because the food is soooo good! My best friend and I have always been ordering their nanban chicken bento, super generous portion and super tasty! Theres this special sauce on nanban chicken that I will never be fed up with. All their bentoa come with tempura, gyoza, and salad too. Their ramens are also delicious, with tonkotsu being my all time favourite. Yet to try their breakfast menu!
Jessica Lyn Duchesne
Yesterday I ordered a Katsu Chicken Bento Box and I was really dissapointed with the way it came out. The Chicken was really dry, old and inedible. A waste of $15 to say the least. I won’t be ordering from here again.
MiTandean
Friendly service and the food comes out fast. Pretty affordable tasty food that is a fusion of different asian countries. Love their taro latte as well ❤️
Kira Charleston
Easily booked in with plenty of tables to spare on a Sunday.
We became concerned when being seated with 20+ flys within the area of our table, we opted to move to another table away from all the flys. However still continued to shoo flys away from us and our meals the entire time we were there.
Ordered the choc berry brick toast, was absolutely amazing and would recommend. Everyone was delighted with the food and the portions of their meals.
Overall experience was great, just need to sort out the fly problem as it was a little off putting.

Stopped by Pachi Pachi tonight for a feed. Was quite disappointed especially since the ratings were so high. We had a curry laksa & pad thai. Neither tasted like they should. Def head elsewhere if you're after a good laksa or pad thai. On the upside the service was very good and the food came out quite quickly and fresh.
Thekittaysmeow
Not sure why this is so highly rated. The food was very salty but also bland at the same time.... probably the best way to explain it is not any actual flavour but too much salt/msg. It was also rather expensive. The place was nice and clean and the service was friendly, but unfortunately the food was the ultimate letdown. we all left very dissappointed.
DforDee
We are here just after 1 pm on Thursday. The cafe was empty so service was good and waitress was polite and helpful. I really enjoyed the chicken karagge but the portion size was on the small side. The waffles were so good! Lovely and sweet. I prefer if the ice cream was creamier. Overall good food, great ambience and service. It kept me interested enough to try other items on their menu.
Joel
Great value quality food in a relaxed friendly setting. Eaten here twice now and portions were good size. Bento box was massive and better quality than the ones at the malls which cost the same. Most mains are priced at $10-$15 range which is cheap for a sit down restaurant. The ambience is casual and better than a coffee shop.

Open on Monday nights which is unusual for a restaurant. Closed on Tuesdays but Zomato app says that its open that day.
Zoodle
Great value for money and delish food. The quality of everything in the menu was amazing. We finished the meal with croissants and they were one of the best I've had in a long time. The service was impeccable for a place that essentially has take away prices.
Milky Teng
Went there for dinner on Saturday night. The staff were friendly and food was served just a few minutes after we placed our order! We had orange beef, chicken nanban and Buddha garden. We really enjoyed everything the beef in particular. It has a yummy sauce that's similar to Chinese Peking sauce. Loved it! The only thing I didn't like was the limited space in the restaurant that makes you a little difficult to sit down and get out of your chair when it's packed inside. I would definitely go back and try other dishes on the menu!
Kitty
Service was quick & friendly./ Food was fresh & had good balance./ Good coffee./ Interesting Asian flavours. (i.e. Teriyaki beef brisket & Miso Caramel Cookie)
Green Foodie
Verdict: Suitable for quick lunch. Been here a few times now since they've opened. Their portions are quite small but that is what you pay for for that price. Limited seatings and wait service was slow. Try their desserts!
Martin Davies
We got some takeaway from here on Sunday as a last minute "save". Based on that experience I'll try dine-in sometime soon. The menu is a bit different from the rest of the asian outlets on the E Vic Pk strip; a fusion of regional styles with some imagination thrown in. I enjoyed the funky taste of the barramundi symphony, which was way better then its "cheesy" name would suggest. In the words of Schwarzenegger "I'll be back"
Angejon Ho
The quality of the food has dropped tremendously since I first tried this place in the early years. Tonight we came to celebrate my birthday with the family and we ordered almost everything on the signature dishes recommendation. None of them turned out any good. Food was either too sweet or too salty, or not crunchy/crispy when they should have been. Also the flavours are starting to get confusing. Been here about a dozen times over the years but the standard has really dropped the past couple years . When I heard the headwaiter took over as head chef a year or so ago I said Ohh Oooo. Sure enough the service is poor and the food just as bad. They've lost their Mojo and I hope they make quick changes to find it again soon.
Rick
First time at this place, menu was a bit shabby but hey means they have been.here a while so must be good? We ordered the Buddha veg I think, sweet and sour pork and Japanese curry. Very affordable and tasty. Had to order another bowl of rice for the curry.....yum. wait staff were warm.and inviting. We would surely come.here again and can't wait till we pass through again. Would.recommend you book ahead to avoid disappointment.
LittleMiss
Food came out very quickly and was delicious. Waitstaff need a bit more experience though, first they told us there were no seats however luckily a couple got up and went up to pay as the waitress told us...it was as though she meant the restaurant was fully booked. The mains and curry came out before the rice so we had to wait a few minutes for the rice and cutlery before we could start eating which is always a bit odd. Lovely meal though, will come again. :D

Been here a few times to try different dishes. Generally, food is definitely above average; their menu has a unique twist to a few Asian dishes. However, food consistency is a bit lacking. Fell in love with pineapple fried rice the first time I ate it, but tastes quite different when I ordered takeaway- pineapple tasted a bit off. Will also give ramen a miss as it was too salty that I couldn't finish it.
Having said that, I'd still come back to have the pineapple fried rice and other dishes- love the Barramundi Symphony and egg floss prawns. Desserts have been consistently good; the matcha egg waffle is a must!
Lady X
Came here for lunch with a friend. We had the teriyaki barramundi and chicken karaage. The teriyaki barramundi was quite salty due to the sauce, but was still tasty. Matcha egg waffles were yummy and very aesthetically pleasing! Only downside is that the food took quite a while to be served
Vinay Shankar
Service and setting was good. Food was ok. I had the crispy squid starter and stewed beef curry. The squid was flavoured well but too chewy - should have been more tender. The curry was just alright - nothing to write home about. Still, for the price it's a good meal.

Good spot for quick tasty cheap eats. If my bf had it his way we'd only ever eat here. Staff are always friendly and foods always full of flavour
Kimberley
Wow!! This place is awesome!!! Great food and service. Chicken wings are amazing! You have to have dessert! The black Forrest waffle wow!! Only downfall would be the toilet out the back and the poor air con but that actually adds to the atmosphere of the food!!
Adam Lee
taste wise its little above average, menu is little lacking in interesting foods.
a place i would go to have lunch once a month. better than pepper lunch, most japanese places in vic park and indian restraunts in vic park. if you dont know where to go and you dont like korean food go here.
Joo Yee
Nice environment, went there during lunch time, unexpectedly not crowded at all. Food was good, ordered a katsu bento set and chicken karaage set and home brewed ice lemon tea ☕️. It was kinda sweet for the ice tea but overall the food is not bad. Love the side salad 🥗 but some of is quite bitter. Will definitely come back to try out the dinner menu

One night my family and I were craving for some good Asian food, but also wanted to try something we've never tried before. Well, I knew where I wanted to go, Pachi Pachi, but, previous experience told me that I won't be able to get a table at the last minute. As I was feeling brave, I called anyway, and lucky for us, they had a table with our name on it! So we quickly made our way down!

Come here quite regularly with my partner. Food is always great and always get a decant sized portion of food. Everything is very well priced considering the qaulity of food you get.

I'm almost a little remise to leave this review as I want to keep Pachi Pachi my little secret.
My work colleagues and I happened upon this little gem accidentally when we ordered in Uber Eats to the office for lunch. Pachi Pachi has now become a weekly regular order and not one of us has had a bad or even average meal to date. Pad Thai tick. Mee Goreng tick. Pork Belly Udon tick. Ramen tick. Tick tick tick tick tick. This place makes bangin' good Asian fare (and trust me I know my Asian) Looking forward to dining-in to try some of the food that's not offered via the uber eats menu.

I first came into this restaurant when they just opened for a week and i have been coming back since! Their fusion Asian food just hit the right place and taste. There are a few out there in Vic park and unfortunately they're nowhere as good as this. The barramundi curry is so tasty that I had to finish the curry sauce, their beef is moist and tender and not to forget the most favourite angry bird dish which is so tasty that you'd want to come back to it even though you were thinking of trying something else before you enter the restaurant.

Service a bit slow as only 2 wait staff (including taking care of till and phone orders too)! Place is very small and tables are pretty squishy btw each other. Food is good and serving size quite ok but menu isn't too extensive. Our least liked is the teriyaki chicken which is quite bland and we've tasted better elsewhere. The beef is a tad too salty but quite tender. Overall an enjoyable meal, we will be back to try other foods in their menu.

Their bento lunch is of good value. In addition to the meat dish, it comes with mixed tempura, salad and rice. The food is good and the serve is big. The Ramen is good too. Have tried their Matcha Ice Cream Pancake, very special and yummy, however too pricey for a desert. I have brought few friends there and they also like the food. Overall, good place to have lunch. Hope they keep up with their good work.

Awesome, simple little restaurant that, most importantly, serves up the most delicious food. I had chicken katsu and asian greens with garlic - fantastically fresh and great flavours. My beloved had chicken karage entree and a Mongolian beef main which he reported was exceptional. Couldn't fault the experience.

Pachi Pachi was one of the restaurants in Perth that serves Asian food as part of their breakfast menu. Last year we went to Pachi Pachi with a group of friends and everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. Hubby ordered the extremely delicious baked Japanese beef curry with béchamel sauce. This curry also came with an option of sourdough toast or rice and plenty of chunky beef pieces! Everyone had a taste test and they all said positive things about this dish.

Absolutely must try Matcha Much crispy Hong Kong egg waffle; one of the best matcha desserts I have had in Perth!

Eggs benedict with pulled yakinuku beef brisket was packed full of flavour, with a generous splash of hollandaise to cover every bite.

The congee had all the familiar elements of shredded chicken, chinese donut, coriander & spring onion.. but was just missing a dab of chilli. It was a good consistency but lacked a bit of flavour.

The egg slut consisted of coddled egg & warm potato cream poached, served with toasted soldiers.. a play on the classic eggs on toast.

Although the taro latte was as smooth & creamy, the taro flavour could have been more pronounced.
Li'l Chilli Padi
Tried this place on a Sunday weekend with my partner for brunch. We went for Pachi Pachi expecting more from a 4.0 from Zomato.
I tried the Nanban chicken bento set. It came with vege salad, fried prawn and sweet potato tempura, gyoza, and edamame.
First thing that I noticed was that the tempuras were not fried with Panko breadcrumbs like traditional tempura. The first bite was ladened with heavy flour, did not resemble a tempura. The gyoza had more flour (again) and very little meat.
The Nanban chicken had a nice tangy kick to the palate, with mayonnaise salad sauce to top it off. The edamame and rice rounded the dish well. Nice portion. Overall this dish scored a 6.5/10.

I had an ice lemon tea on the side and it was nice and cooling for the day.

Would come back to try the noodle dishes and dinner menu.
Eating Out Perth
I don't understand all of the glowing reviews, or perhaps my entire lunch party lucked out today.
Everything ordered was subpar or average at absolute best.
Worst ramen and bento ever had.
Service is friendly, so that's a win.

A small place, but homely...

The meal prices are really affordable with bento boxes starting from around $13. The sides for the bento are a good portion and presentation pleasing.

I ordered the Chicken Karaage Bento Box today. The portion of chicken was a bit disappointing compared to my partners Namban Chicken portion. The tempura was nice but again the size of the prawn served was very inconsistent with mine being at least 3/4 the size of my partners. Salad was great, edamame cooked and unsalted (I prefer unsalted) and rice serving was just right. I'd probably give credit for the price and rate the dish a 7/10.

Other than the one menu item, the home made ice lemon tea was nice, refreshing for a hot day (36 degrees today), and service was very good. I like being asked after a few bites if my meal was good and if everything ordered has come. I hope to come back here again and try the noodles.

Great service and lovely food. We were a group of 6 and all our meals were delicious. I had pad Thai and probs one of the best I've had. We were offered more sauce during the meal which I thought was good service. Fantastic value and we could all pay separately, winner!!

I ordered from here using Menu log yesterday evening, I choose this place due to the great reviews I read but I have to admit mine was not a god experience. On the plus side ordering through menu log is great, really straight forward and get 20% off first order, food took 1 hour to arrive. The Orange Beef was really tasty really enjoyed it, fried rice was burnt therefor could not enjoy, Crispy squid tentacles were soggy and rubbery not crispy at all they even made the cardboard box they were delivered in soggy. Dumplings were rubbery and melted into the Styrofoam box they were delivered in. It sounds as if this place does great meals when you go to their restaurant but I have to be honest and let others know that the majority of the food we were delivered last night was genuinely inedible.

I have been there a few times because of the delicious food (its really really good) but the service and hygene is letting me leave 1 star. First, they gave a glass with someone's lipstik mark on it, it wasn't washed properly. The waitperson was quite apologetic about it though. Second, the food was undercooked and when I mentioned it to them, they said 'this is how it is served' whereas I had the same dish 10 days ago and it was cooked correctly.. these two experiences on the same day... we ordered a dessert as well (which was yum) but when I was billed, i got billed the whole amount, no reduction, no apologies, nothing at all....

The seafood laksa is very good, more of a malay style with a curry influence.
The highlight of this dish however was not the well cooked seafood, awesome chewy egg noodles or the banging soup.
It was the deep fried eggplant pieces scattered through giving glorious flavour and textures that made my heart sing like aladdin and princess jasmine on that carpet ride.

The food is great as well as the service, the deco is modern and cosy.
Do yourself a favour and go there it's a gem.

There's probably a handful of places I would give 5 stars to and pachi pachi is one of them. Everything we've ordered so far from Mee Goreng to different curries to Angry Birds boss level has been superb. Make sure to book a spot because this place gets very busy due to popularity!
Foodieperth
I thought this place was actually very good and cheap. We ordered the Agedashi tofu ($6) and the chicken and potato curry and rice ($14). The Agedashi Tofu was amazing! The skin was so crisp and the sauce was flavoursome. It was one of the best I've eaten. The chicken curry was very tasty! It had a rich and flavoursome broth and the chicken was sp moist and tender! It was such a big serving- good value for the $14.
KateInCottesloe
Excellent food and service, but startlingly expensive tea. We had one laksa and one ramen, which were absolutely delicious and great value for money. I ordered a $3.50 jasmine tea, under the impression that I would get a pot. It turned out to be a cup of hot water with a tea bag in it 😞 That's an expensive teabag!!! We will definitely go back to try more dishes, but we won't be ordering tea again 😂

An awesome asian fusion place in perth.

The orange beef was sensational while the barramundi was decent.
Both taro and matcha latte were nice as well.

It is a bit pricey but for the quality of food, I wouldn't mind

Didn't try out their regular menu, just came here for dessert! Tried out their green tea muffle dessert, and it was okay. I like great tea ice cream because it's sweet but not too sweet, and this dessert went a little too far up that end where it was lacking the amount of sweetness that I liked. The portion was generous, but I wasn't a big fan of the red been. Everything else on the dessert dish was nice and I'm looking forward to trying out their normal food menu.

The four of us had a really enjoyable meal last night. The staff were very attentive and the food was of high quality. Will definitely come back.

We had a WONDERFUL dinner at Pachi Pachi. Great staff, great food, great atmosphere, and I would definitely recommend this place to many people.
Yes, the place is small and hence limited seatings *so you should come early if you want to get a seat*, the place is simple but it has a nice casual dining ambiance. The interior is designed nicely with pictures. The staff was friendly and very attentive (maybe because the place is small), the food came in quickly, and amazingly they even let us stay longer after we finished our meal (generally when the place is small, you want us out as soon so the next customers can come in).

Pachi pachi has a list of catchy, unique, and tempting signature dishes that it’s really hard for us to choose which ones we have to settle with. You could argue that each menu in their signature range was really good. I love the word play they use on their menu adding different experience right from the moment we browsed their menu. We were laughing at “You make Miso happy soup”!

We ordered Angry Birds Stage 2 spiciness which was just at the right level of spiciness! The chicken was soft and the distinct and unique flavour of Asian herb was tasty. Next we ordered Genghis Khan – which probably was one of the best marinated beef on sizzling plate I’d ever tasted in Perth. The secret must lied in their in house special sauce eh? The beef itself was soft and sumptuous. In addition, we also ordered the teriyaki tofu and pineapple fried rice which nicely complemented the other dishes.

Price was decent. Initially you might think $18 chicken and $19 beef were expensive, but when you look at the size of the dishes and the delicious flavour they had, you might change your mind. The $12.50 vegetable & pineapple fried rice with cashew nuts was a bargain!

For drinks, we ordered the taro latte and matcha latte. I ordered the ice taro latte which was really really good. It was sweet but not too sweet – the level was just perfect you could taste the taro without being overcome by the sugar. With a bit of ice cream and chocolate waffle, the $5.50 ice taro latte was a must-try!

Will definitely come again to try the other menu and the desserts!

Very smiley and friendly staff, quick service and delicious food. We enjoyed the ramen and agdashi tofu at the window seat watching the rain drizzle down (a month or so ago). It was very nice and I would happily return when passing through Vic Park.

Pachi Pachi

unpretentious, delicious, great value!

Coffee Addict
Had the most terrible coffee on a Tuesday afternoon with my friend because the coffee was burnt but the staff member on duty was very accommodative and friendly. Food is alright

Honestly am in love with this place. Came here a couple of times and the food is still great as always. Reasonable price, great quality food with a great ambience and good service. Besides the limited seating available in store, overall it's such a great place to go to

Food we ordered was tasty, but nothing to shout about.
Angry Bird was the most interesting mains. Delicious and easy to eat, with a sweet and spicy sauce. The pickled salad was just boring cabbage and carrots though. Stock standard pickles that comes with Chicken Rice at Taurus.

Beef Tataki was super thin slices of beef sitting on a spread of sliced red onions drenched in a Thai-like sweet and sour sauce. Lovely flavours but the beef taste was quite lost.

Ramen was very disappointing. Tasted like two-minutes noodles, just that the soup has more finesse with some corn kernels to boost up the texture. Wasn't spicy enough to provide a fiery kick. Chicken sliced were just that - uninteresting chicken slices.

Our dessert was beautiful. The Black Forest Waffles was different from the usual style of waffles. These ones are like little drops attached to each other. Each drop slightly crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. Went well with the berries, coulis, choc icecream and whipped cream. Yum!

Service was good.

Wait staffs are genuine and nice. Tried their ramen, laksa and few dishes, all pretty average to be honest. Though I like their taro latte.

We keep returning here, great modern Asian dishes with lots of flavour and great value. Phad thai and dumplings dishes are really good. Service is good and with only a few tables they are pretty attentive.

I often overlook this café/restaurant because of its location ... it is kind of in between the 2 main restaurant hubs of Vic Park, but another visit tonight reinforced just how good it is. Japanese is my least-favourite type of Asian food, but Pachi Pachi has amazing fusions of my favourite flavours of Asia so the result is always a tough decision about what to order. The menu is quite broad, and they do some interesting variations to traditional dishes. Most importantly, the flavours work well together. I am yet to be disappointed with anything. I love some spice in my food and that is one area they really excel here. It's a small comfortable place, and the service is always friendly and attentive. To top it all off they've got a very nice selection of soft drinks, teas & coffees on the menu. I'd recommend Pachi Pachi to anyone who enjoys Asian food and wants to try a menu that is a little bit different.

Decided to come here today to use the voucher from the entertainment book. Wait staff is friendly. Food is not back. Very generous portions for their price. Their ramen could be better, but their coffee is great. They use toby estate beans which are great quality.

Small cozy restaurant, but such a great little place! Wonderful friendly service, great prices, and a wide variety of choices from the menu! Very pleased with our experience here, worth a visit!

Relatively small restaurant, but seating is arranged well. Dinner menu is interesting and I like the variety offered. Dishes are quite generous and the stand out being Angry Birds because I'm able to tailor the chilli hit and it definitely hit the spot for me. Friendly and polite service.

Very nice food here, the spicy ramen is a favourite of mine. Delicious lemon ice tea, hard to stop at just one glass. Dessert was nice too.
