Review Little Red Dumpling Bar - Victoria Point

My partner and I have been going to Little Red Dumpling on a regular basis now for nearly 2 years, we always order the same thing and love it to bits, we've always said we should go online and give them a 5 star review with how much we love it. However tonight's experience was a different story, We finished a lovely movie night by getting our favorite meals, below are photos of what she gets and it is always the same. Not tonight, I was disappointed with the lack fo quality of meat (being 95% fat, and barely any meat on each piece), the serving of the vegetables were so small we had to ask for more, and the rice tasted old, and clumpy. Upon requesting for more vegetables, replacement of the meat, we only received one "serving", even though we ordered 2 serves of meat previously. We are sadly so disappointed at the drop in quality of this place, and the fact it took 30 minutes for this dissatisfying meal, to be brought to our table. It felt as though the take away orders were being prioritized over the people sitting inside the restaurant. Not happy! We will no longer be going to Little Red Dumpling or recommending to friends/family, we will going to Long Island from now on.

This is a nice venue with opening hours that accommodate having a late lunch. The tea was good and was good value. The dumplings were only average. The dumpling wrapping was quite thick. Whilst th wrapper was actually good for the Xiao long bao, but not for the other dumplings we got. The lamb dumplings were interesting, but not to my liking. It's reasonable value considering the quality and price.

This is such a lovely restaurant for dine in and takeaway meals. The owner and staff are all so lovely and attentive to the needs of customers. I often come here with friends or before work. The menu has a large selection of delicious meals, desserts, and drinks to choose from. Personally, I would recommend the dumplings in sweet chilli sauce or Phoenix fried chicken. I absolutely adore this store and it is by far my favourite location for dumplings in the Redlands.

Dumplings we had were fantastic. Crispy chicken bao (pictured) was absolutely on the money. Oh and the lamb and rosemary dumplings 🤤 are a must have. I stuffed myself with food and drink and found it much cheaper than expected. Will go again for sure.

Good food, terrible service, last time I ate here my dumplings sat out the back for 45 minutes, when I questioned where my food was I was handed the dumplings with a “sorry about that” no offer to make the dumplings fresh. I attempted to door dash my dinner tonight, the wrong meal turned up, I called and was told “sorry about that you can just keep the meal you received” I obviously said I want the meal I ordered. They said they will organise a driver to bring me my meal, 55 minutes later I had heard nothing, called and was told they couldn’t get a driver and the only thing I could do was to reorder through door dash (leaving me out of pocket) I told them this wasn’t acceptable to which I got hung up on, I am completely disgusted with the service from this restaurant

This place has terrific dumplings. We came for lunch and tried a few different sorts. It's not a cheap lunch if you have a big appetite. The lamb and coriander dumplings were my favourite - they didn't look particularly appetising, but they were absolutely delicious. Waiting time can be an issue even if the place is nearly empty, so don't be in a hurry!

Food and service was just fantastic! I got the spring rolls and the vegetable dumplings in the red sauce!!! To die for. Definitely a new favourite 🥟😍

My favourite restaurant of all time. Everything is delicious. I have eaten here so many times. I always get the braised beef noodles soup; braised lamb soup w noodles; pork wonton in red chilli; jasmine tea.Service is always polite, fast and food is always fresh.

Food was pretty yummy, though they couldn’t get what was ordered correct - steamed instead of pan fried, things not even bought out despite being ordered. Party members not even having their orders taken. It was busy, but still could have been better. But the food was very good, and they were nice enough to allow me to take my late delivered noodle salad home, despite having a no container home policy!

Just the best little food joint in VP. Great to share a few dishes and try one of the drinks!

I go often for lunch, Im addicted to the chicken noodle soup, I ask for it with chilli sauce on the side and the braised beef soup. The soup dumplings are quite special too! Lovely fresh quality food!

We went there last night for dinner before the movies. And it took them over ten minutes to bring our drinks, hope less. When my much needed beer finally arrived I asked for another, and it was delivered in under ninety seconds. Grrrr. Food was delicious, service was average

My favourite place. Can’t get enough of the Chicken Noodle Soup.

Pretty good service, their dumplings were tasty and cooked well. The Shallot pancakes are really good and you can wash it down with some beers, so extra points there.

Went there today for lunch, sitting outside watched the girl behind the counter pick her nose several times, didn’t wash her hands. THEN witnessed her spit in the sink at the front counter in full view. Disgusting.... I went and said something. The care factor was zero.

The Dumpling in the Sweet Soy Chilli Sauce is a must try!!!

Can’t recommend this place enough, I’m there at least once every two weeks. Do yourself a favour and check them out great service and absolutely tasty dumplings.

Yesterday went here with my mum after seeing movie and we were looking for something small to eat and found this place, food was good plus fillinh and service from the waiters were amazing and helpful something affordable and a quick bite eat.

Very slow service, entrees and mains brought out at random times which makes it and awkward dining experience (entree came out, then one main, then another entree and then another main 20 mins later). Wontons served instead of the dumplings that were ordered which was disappointing as I'd especially gone there for dumplings. Flavours were very mild, asked for chilli and they didn't seem to understand a simple request so I didn't push it any further...

Absolutely love this restaurant, great food, drinks and service. What I love the most is that I can bring along my toddler and they cater for him every way possible through plastic bowls etc, and even colouring packs you can purchase. The staff are very warm & welcoming, this has become one of our new fav spots. A great addition to Victoria Point!

Great food! The cumin lamb ribs are brilliant beyond words. A bummer that they don't offer steamed dumplings but the fried and boiled options are delicious too. Would highly recommend

First visit at the little red dumpling bar tonight and left completely satisfied! Food was quick, fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. We got the banquet and could barely eat it all! Lots of food and the ice cream bun for dessert was so yum! $12 mojitos and good music! Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Really authentic food. Friendly and fast service, excellent value as well. Three dishes, and two beers were only $44 which was excellent value as serving sizes are generous. <br/><br/>Really hope these guys stick around, we are definitely going back.
