Don't be fooled by the dated fit out or the young staff at the till. Yes, there are many aesthetic improvements that could be made in this business but it is the food that is most important and I can't fault their fish and chips. The Dory was fresh and tender inside with a perfect crunch on the outside. The chips were thick cut and cooked just right.
What a funky rock n roll themed cafe! Got the fish & chips with salad. Great food & didn't have to wait long. Fish was crumbed & very moist inside. Little gem if you want classic fish & chips.
We'll eat there again. We live on the Northside and were over Bayside yesterday. Had fish & chips (my wife had potato scallops) from Rock n Roll café. Very tasty. Next time we are nearby and hungry, we'll be there for sure.
Great potato scallops!! We ordered 4 they gave us 7 small ones! They were extremely fresh. Tasted amazing!

Diana. OK little spot with a nice view out over the water to the islands at Victoria Point. We had a fish, chips & salad meal, which was pretty much just that. Have had better fish but not bad for the price & the salad was basically a garnish. Asked for water & was told we had to buy the bottled water, not very impressed by this, how hard is it to pour water from a tap?
Awesome chips that actually like potatoes and the nicely thick cut calamari’s were spot on!
However, it was quite salty to my liking just had to shake the salt off to enjoy it further. Will go back and ask for less salt sprinkled on next time 😋
One of my favourite fish and chips shops around Brisbane. We went there today. The scallops taste so fresh and juicy! Wow! I will order a dozen of scallops next time.
Been here multiple times for fish and chips. Always order on the phone and pick up. Always on time and best fish and chips in the bay we've had in a long time. The batter on fish is crispy and light and fresh. Chips are always delicious with a bit of crunch yet soft on the inside. Two cod plus chips and tatare sauce is about $20. Good deal! Many times we've had extra lemon and chips and fish pieces added for free. We are yet to try the Asian menu range but am sure if they do a good job of fish and chips the Asian range will be delicious.
