I would recommend them to everyone. The meals are beautiful And the staff are lovely. It has a great place to sit and the ambiance very warm friendly feel. Can’t wait � for my next visit. After your meal it is nice to wander about and take in the plants and flowers �����

I come here evertime I visit Virginia nursery... I love it... The food is always fantastic at reasonable prices.
The staff are also friendly and down to earth.
I love my visits to Doncho's.
There is hardly a weekend that we don't go for coffe and something to eat . When your finished eating go for a wonder around the nursery and a look in the gift store love this place and a bonus five minutes from home . Take a drive it's worth it .
Food options ar great, meals were superb and it’s just a lovely place to go amongst the garden centre. Love eating there when we travel all that way to get plants.

What a pleasant surprise. Located at the Virginia nursery it is a great spot. The decor is almost old English pub. The staff are attentive and nice. The menu covers all bases. The salt and pepper squid was nice as was the burger and ham focaccia. Servings are huge.
Amazing food and service, great variety and well priced. U have to go here......you wont regret it and theres shops and nursery to browse all under one roof
We visited over a long weekend after a mammoth shop in the garden centre.
It was packed but the service was amazingly cheery and efficient and quick.
The comfy booth seating was generous and the kids lived it.
The decor is a touch 1990's but very clean and lent a convivial comfort to our lunch.
Coffee was sensational as was the food.
We've actually booked for Mother's Day lunch we were that impressed!
Came here for my sisters birthday, nice atmosphere, friendly service, ordered the salt and pepper duo, combination of squid and prawns, fresh and nice plenty of batter. Will return for breakfast because the menu looks amazing!!! 😊😊😊
Awesome place to come for a bite to eat! Huge selection of breakfast my favourite is the Avocado Smash and for lunch i can not resist the Veggie stack.
Have always found the staff to be friendly and polite but can get pretty busy on weekends.
Love vittoria coffee so i haven't been disappointed yet! HUGE selection of cakes!

It's mostly been a really good experience whenever I've been here. Wheelchair access is doable but a bit hard in all parts of the restaurant. Although I'm sure they would accommodate tho, like most places. The toilets are clean & easy accessed though.
The food is fresh & tasty, just not a huge vegetarian/ vegan selection. The look around the garden centre is really good & well stocked and worth the trip out, as is the gift shop. Enjoyable to come for lunch or bring ya mum for a naughty cake & cuppa.
I have dined at Doncho's on numerous occasions & have always found the food to be delicious, generous serving sizes & well priced. The staff are friendly however there is a always a wait for your food to arrive regardless of how busy the dining room does or doesn't look.
The cakes are amazing, so it's also a great place for a coffee.
If you don't mind the wait, this is a great place for lunch.
Lunch was good. Hubby, daughter and I went to Virginia nursery to look for plants on a cold windy day, saw the restaurant and decided to have something before shopping, I was very surprised by the excellent quality of the meals - minestrone soup for me and burgers for the others. The very generous portions all round and the flavours were terrific and the best chips I have tasted in a long while, daughter (30 year old) struggled to eat all of her meal I would recommend the food and the service to any one, overall it was a pleasant way to spend a cold winters afternoon
Pleasantly Surprised. I had heard there was a cafe at Virginia nursery, so we thought we would grab some lunch there before we looked around the nursery! I was quite surprised when I got there to find a really nicely decorated restaurant, I was thinking it would be more of a lunchtime cafe!
I ordered a chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy. It was one of the nicest schnitzels I have ever had! The chips were beautiful and so was the side salad. The price wasn't bad either. My hubby ordred an open yiros, he really enjoyed his meal too. Everything came out on time and the staff were friendly.
I'm looking forward to trying it out for dinner one night!
Very welcoming staff and a cafe with great ambiance. It was super sunny outside so I ordered chocolate Milkshake and it was super yum. The garlic bread was soft and delicious. Cafe menu has many vegetarian options too. Will visit again.👍

Lovely cosy and welcoming place to pop for a cuppa or something to eat while enjoying Virginia Nursery. Lots of delicious choices on the menu, with some truly awesome vegetarian choices. The beetroot salad is my favourite.
Squid entree and chicken roulade/lamb mains excellent. Experienced and great staff create a relaxed friendly atmosphere Ty Donchos.
Staff member was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is on such a large scale. Such a shame they don't do dinners as it has a really beautiful dinning area which wpuld draw a crowd in its atmosphere alone.
The coffee was ok.

Excellent meals, very good atmosphere in the eating area, staff super friendly ask several times if everything was OK.
What makes this cafe special is the old world European elegance of the furniture, light fittings and decor. You feel like you have just stepped into a saloon in 19th century Europe.
This cafe is best for spending a leisurely afternoon with coffee and cake. They have good fresh, moist cakes although the range is not huge. Best of all, the cushioned sofas in enclosed booths seating allows a lot of privacy and comfort.
