Review Pearl Restaurant, Wagga Rsl - Wagga Wagga

Only in Wagga a few days and I took a chance to get a steak at the RSL club. It paid off. The staff is really friendly and they are very COVID safe. I ordered the scotch fillet, medium and it did not disappoint.

Some of the best parking availability for a club in Wagga. You can park in front, behind or next to the club. All of which mean a short walk into the club. You can often decide to park in a number of available parking spots, but during busy times you may need to be a bit more open to a slightly longer walk. Car park is signposted to satisfactory levels.

Very good atmosphere. Selection of two restaurants; your classic Australian menu restaurant and a Chinese restaurant. I have had the Parmi and the prawn pasta dish and both were delicious.

Great venue. Friendly staff. Great meals Fresh Food. cold drinks. Fresh hot coffee. Great all round venue with different areas to sit and watch sports but just to have a chat. Restaurant was amazing and great food high quality. Great poker machine area. Also a Chinese restaurant on site so many food options including a cafe.

We walked in on a Saturday with my family and ordered decent-sized meals, and I was suprised how quick our pizzas were made! I was about to request for the food that cooked the earliest to be served out instead of serving all at once, but the pizzas were getting sauced as soon as I looked over the counter! The rest of the food came out and each of them were plated nicely! If you ordered too much pizza, you can ask for a takeaway box and they'll kindly give you one for free. Get in early and feel free to choose any table while no one's around!

Pleasant staff. Of 6 meals bought at bistro only 3 were good. Pork roast was thick dry n unpleasant. Just took home for dog. Not even any crackling. Cakes were nice.

Place is lovely! Attention is given to every detail from the entrance all the way through. Very clean, even at the end of the day. Beers are cold, and the seats are comfy. The front staff could be a little less "pushy" when it came to showing people who've never been there how to sign in, as I observed one such encounter as I was waiting my turn. The young lady got flustered due to the attitude of the person directing her. I'd have had my back right up. But she got in eventually, and it's worth it in the long run. Everything else is mint. Highly recommend

We had a walk around Wagga Wagga after our drive. A lovely town seems many places to eat and drink, but being it was Easter Friday, most areas were closed. Bertie and I hit the RSL. What can we say, cold beer and reasonable prices! After a couple, we got the in house Chinese. Here is what I will say, it's a very Australian Chinese style of food, not many options for something spicy or different. If you like the standard sweet and sour etc or and fried starters then you may like it. Sesame prawn toast, freshly made but lack prawns, in fact we did not taste or see one prawn. We had the sweet and sour pork not thinking it would all be fried ( out fault) but it really was like that standard sweet and sour sauces you purchase at the super market. I will say freshly prepared and fried rice was Ok, a little oily. 3 stars for the restaurant, but the club itself is kewl and easy to relax and enjoy some beer

Lunch is value plus. A big meal for $10 including rice and a pretty good selection of Chinese standard meals that appeal to all ages. Every bit as good in my opinion as some of the restaurants in Sydney. Clearly the best chinese food in Wagga Wagga (again in my experience).

Very disappointed, attempted to book a table for 17 people tonight. They would take our booking but could not guarantee that we would be all seated at the one table in case other bookings come in during the afternoon.

The smells coming out of the kitchen when we arrived were fantastic but it was extremely upsetting to find out from the waitress that they were basically not interested in catering for GF and was told in no uncertain terms that there was nothing on the menu I could have. Very uncomfortable for the family but luckily enough the bistro staff offered to allow me to take one of their meals into Pearl. But then the look I got when I actually asked for cutlery! I'm sure the meals are fabulous but honestly in this day and age, why isn't there any flexibility??? I would have had a fried rice so as not to make anyone feel uncomfortable, but alas, it wasn't to be.
