One of the best steaks I tried. We drove through this town and decided to dine in this place on the Monday. The steak was divine and very affordable. It was way better than the expensive ones we tried in Canberra. Th staff were very friendly and accommodating. I believe this place is iconic. The folks were also smiley. We waited a bit but it was worth it. I will definitely visit this place again.

I had Buffalo wings and sweet potato chips. Not exactly buffalo style, but excellent wings. Really tasty and well cooked (baked I reckon). Sweets were good too.. Great staff and good modern clean pub..

Very good food. Served reasonably quickly considering the number dining that night. Great venue. Don't dine outside in winter. We were warm inside.

15 of us went out for a birthday dinner on a Monday and this place was buzzing. Everyone's meal was faultless, came in a very reasonable time after ordering. Kitchen catered for our birthday cake providing plates etc, very obliging. Our dirty plates were collected efficiently and wasn't a noisy area to socialise. I am a coeliac and I loved how many choices I was presented with. Cost of our drinks were also very reasonable. Definitely will revisit.

We had a delicious meal at The Riv. The wagyu steak was very tender and cooked perfectly and the Thai beef salad was equally tender and had a lovely chargrilled flavour. The salad was nice, just a bit over-dressed for me. Thanks, we'll be back.
