Tasty food, and very friendly service from Antonia. One of the other staff members appeared to be less than patient with trainees, which was disappointing to see. I got a tasty vegan cheeseburger with curly fries 🍔🍟 Food takes a bit of time to arrive, but there is plenty of fascinating wall decor to appreciate while waiting.

Look this one is a tough one - Hogs does what it does but (in my opinion) doesn’t do it well compared to Outback Steakhouse. That said, this is Wagga and the nearest outback is Sydney. Bit expensive for what it is. Seats are outrageously uncomfortable but always have been - maybe part of the charm for some? Mains fine overall. Desserts not great. Ice cream was all icy like it was not been kept frozen. Staff - I genuinely can say our waitress was trying but I found she came off rude but I later realised this wasn’t her intention. Maybe more training would help? Partner never complains and hated his steak - tough as leather I’m told. Edit: after the reply below I emailed the team that same day, 2 weeks later and no reply. Clearly the public reply is just to be seen rather than any genuine attempt to make things right.

A 3.5! Waited too long (at least 20 mins!) for our drinks! We were super thirsty and would love to have at least a cup of water. Then we waited for a total of 35 (or even 40!?) mins for the food, I wasn’t so hungry but then after all the waiting, I started to get hungry lol so actually can’t tell if the wait was completely bad lol The bench that we were on is very narrow or my butt is too huge, aren’t comfy seats for me anyway. (Food comment please see photos’ caption) We were in town for one day, walked past this place in the morning and thought it seems nice, why not have our dinner here? The ambience was a bit Texan to me, and that night was unbelievably crowded! I can see this is a great place for groups and family, the service was impeccable too. Love their servers: light chit chat, nice greetings and kept track of the tables they are serving.

We went there for lunch at about 1.30pm...only 3 servers so took a while to get seated and for them to take our order. Beer was ice cold which was great. My husband and I ordered the Prime Rib steak medium rare, both steaks were cooked rare, but still delicious. I had mash and veggies Mash was hot, but the veggies were cold, the saving grace was the pepper sauce... best I have a had I a long while. Had a great peppery bite. My husband had curly fries, which were cold. Overall not bad, but not great either.

2022 edit. We went back to give this place another go... Still very slow but the food was excellent. One waitress kept walking around with her mask down and that was concerning. The prices are still quite high. The dining area seems to be much cleaner now I'll up my visit this time to ⭐⭐⭐. Very Slow! Probably an hour waiting. Food was ok. Steak not cooked as ordered but we didn't say anything because we were worried how long it would take for it to be cooked properly. The drinking glasses were unhygienic 😷

I ordered medium rare prime rib for pick up - got home and I was told the steak was perfect! Staff are polite and friendly, would definitely be ordering from here again! Thanks for allowing online order pick up/delivery - definitely such a big help to someone like me who’s all the way in Canada ordering food for a loved one in Wagga!

Very friendly staff and attentive. Lunch Special is delicious and cheap. Only one occasion we had Nachos, disappointed as it was nearly a plate of corn chips, hardly any meat or cream and no avocado.

Bad experience at Hogs breath tonight from start to finish.. stood at the entry for 5+ minutes waiting to be seated whilst staff stared at us. Once seated the waiter was extremely rude and to top it off we waited over an hour and a half for our food, which was only burger and chips and there was no more then 10 customers in the store. And to top it off, both our orders were wrong. The manager was polite when I gave feedback and offered me a discount which I refused.
