Review Golden Recipes - Wagga Wagga

One of the few options around the wagga area that is still serving food after 9pm. Based on this alone i decided to give Golden Recipes a go. Ordered over the phone and was told 15 minutes and sure enough that’s exactly what it was. Staff were friendly and courteous and i didn’t have to wait to be served. The meat was lovely and soft and the food was fresh and flavoursome. Also picked up some fortune cookies to complete the meal ;)

So fresh and would have to be the best Chinese takeaway in town, awesome price too !!!

Always great food. The store is always so clean, it really deserves the 5 star rating it has on the door. I have shopped here for years now and have never gotten a bad meal. It is worth every penny.

I like the box that the take away come in, it is a nice detail. The sweet and sour pork was nice and tasty, the Szechuan chicken wasn't spicy. The overall flavours seemed more sweet than anything else. It was the texture of the meat that I found to be the most strange, super soft....to the point of no texture, which was a little off putting.

Our first takeaway from Golden Recipes today. Our meal was delicious and we'll certainly be going back again to try more dishes. Very impressed with the cleanliness of this little place.

Brought plum duck tonight and prawn toast with dipping sauce plus special fried rice... first fried riced dose not and should not have pineapple thanks for the two prawns 🙄 second please put your lids on properly that was a mess that was a nightmare and thirdly I wish I could post it’s picture but my duck was grey it was all bone and was boiled? Really really wish I went somewhere else that wasn’t worth the $$$ I spent there tonight and I couldn’t take it back as you shut not long after.

Order wait time for takeaway tonight over an hour. When asking to cancel the order amazingly the order arrived

Friendly staff who enjoy what they do and do what they do extremely well. Absolutely fantastic cuisine, small cosy restaurant to eat in or just takeaway. Byo and licensed. Our favourite is the black pepper chicken - they're literally a hidden gem. Get in and give it a try - what have you got to lose (besides your waistline because you just want to keep eating it, it's so yum).

Best Chinese in Wagga. Very flavoursome dishes, rice is always perfect, generous meal sizing and great family meal deals on the menu as well. Always friendly service even when they are flat out! Been lots of places but this one is the best by far!

Always love it when the wife says lets have chinese for dinner because I know she wants it from this place. And it is the best going! Really friendly staff and great food, can't go wrong.

The best Chinese food I've had! I'm not a fan of Chinese, usually go for Thai or Vietnamese, but this may change my mind!! Absolutely delicious, large servings and very fresh. The fried rice was amazing!!! The service was excellent and staff very friendly. Will definitely be back here when in Wagga again!

Tried Golden Recipes for the first time tonight, absolutely beautiful food. The Special Fried Rice is the best I've had in Wagga, and the Rainbow Beef was the best I ever had. I was looking forward to having some cold, but it tasted too good to keep as leftovers. Thank you for a wonderful take-away meal and I'm looking forward to visiting Golden Recipes again soon :)

Absolutely delicious food and its awesome that on only my second visit the chef remembered i had a food allergy and was very respectful of it ^_^ its always nice to have things like allegies noted will definitely be a return customer ^_^

Winner hands down best Chinese in Wagga. The service was very friendly and you didn't have to wait for long at all so for me it's a 5 star � rating.

��� If you want to get poisoned � eat in this place. We ordered take away and while we were waiting, the owner questioned us and made sure we are not local. We ordered lemon chicken, but instead they packed sticky pieces of something covered in deep fried pastry. Another dish was curt beef, which smelled so strange and was floating in snotty liquid ( looks like flour fried with oil) ��� We threw both takeaway in rubbish bins!!! Scary!! Can’t believe places like this are still opened and making money selling rotten food and covering it with spices to hide the smell of their off produce !!! ���

Excellent food, excellent service. Would be the nicest Chinese food I have had in a very long time. Will Definitely come back again to dine in. I dined alone and had a great chat to John the administrator while I ate. Made me feel at home . Keep up the great work guys !
