Review Lone Star Rib House - Wagga Wagga

Excellent meal and value. Our daughter asked to go there for her birthday and she convinced me to try the ribs (I'm a steak man). The ribs were awesome and after hearing that they were under new management I can only heap praise on their quality and service.

Food was good and prepared well and quick. One of the main issues was the service however. There was no staff in sight when we entered the restaurant. Once seated, there we're no utensils or napkins and we had to ask for them after ordering. The staff seemed unsupervised and uninterested and stayed at the opposite end of the restaurant, chatting with each other after they've delivered our drinks. We had to stand up to get their attention to order right after. We were the only customers at this time, thought by no means we're we late customers, arriving at 9pm when it closes at midnight.

never liked give 1 star review but from the start we got a jug of cola that just tasted like soda water and then it when further down hill from there the food was over cooked and dry once we finished the mains the plates sat on the table for over 20 minutes while we waited for dessert. when the lady finally took our dessert order she still left the dirty plates on the table until a guy come out with our desserts and still left them there really piss poor service and the food matched it 6 kids, $220 and hour and fifty minutes later im writing this

Friendly staff and pretty good service. Great onion rings and curly fries. 'Beef' burgers had sausage 'meat' in them. The beef brisket was tasteless and inedible. Actually, it was mostly fat. No tenderloin steaks or chilli con carne available. What the? Nope, it's a fail.

Service was A+, and food was delicious. Will come again.

Lunch size pork ribs and chicken schnitzel, excellent, good sized servings with great chips and salads. Very, very good! Great service from the 2 young ladies who served us who checked periodically to see all was well. Loved the free pail of peanuts everyone gets when they arrive. We were very full when we finished this feast.

Staff friendly, great atmosphere and location, however food took almost an hour to come out, including starters. Starters were cold and ribs had barely any meat despite being charged 35 bucks. My partner's $20 meal had more on the plate. Food was made up of low quality ingredients. Partner's meal was advertised on menu as having rashers of bacon and it was just diced deli bacon. Not good value at all for how much we paid. Walked out incredibly disappointed. Hoping these are just teething issues as it is honestly an awesome location and unique specialty restaurant.

Not a pleasant experience from the time we sat down. We waited 25 minutes before receiving a menu. Our mains were served 20 minutes apart, and two of them were served at the same time as the entrees. One of the mains came after everyone else at the table was half finished. The only positive was that the food was good, however, it's hard to enjoy it under those circumstances. I don't think I would return there.
