Review Bay Leaf Restaurant - Wagga Wagga

Coming to the store not so busy. Don’t be fool by the dark atmosphere and light. The menu needs to be replace honestly. We’re nearly walk out by the dark and the menu but too hungry to find another place. Turn out, the food is amazing, all 4 of us were full. Everything’s cooked perfectly. Thumbs up to the chef and the FOH staff. Besides the lights should be replaced as the store looks like it will close any minutes, the menu should be changed probably something plastic and not thin paper and the iced mocha should have cream on the top. I think during this hard Covid hit, this restaurant deserves this rate.

The food and drinks were very disappointing, the smoothies were watered down and didn't taste like they had any real banana in it, ordered the mushroom madness, the mushrooms were cold, and they forgot to add the haloumi cheese, the crepes were disappointing, as wasn't much cheese in it, and the 🥓 in another breaky ordered wasn't cooked very well. In saying that the staff were very helpful in trying to fix the problems, and even reimbursed one of the meals.

After months looking for a nice mug, I found it! They’ve got tall mugs and the coffee comes with a cookie 😍 very nice cashier

10am Sunday. Front Doors wide open, freezing cold inside. Discovered the heating unit and moved to the table directly in front of it. Food ok, though one teabag for a four-cup pot a bit stingy. Worst thing: NO TOILETS! How does a restaurant get away with not providing toilets??? Is that even legal?Where do the staff members go? Didn't discover the lack of amenities till after we had ordered, or we would have left. Not happy.

Poor service. Waited over half hour for an omelette and big breaky....with only three other customers in the cafe. Asked why....and was informed staff are on holiday. Sorry, not my problem. You are the business owner....sort it out. After the wait, our food turned up. The poached eggs resembled hard boiled eggs, and the omlette was under cooked on the inside. I'm hoping this was just a bad day. I came to this place many times in the past....but never again.

Absolutely gorgeous little restaurant/Cafe! Great menu options, a highly professional team, along with a great atmosphere within the restaurant! If you are visiting Wagga this is a must go to! Easy to find at the very top of baylis Street!

Menu has too many items. Please focus on simple and fresh. eg. The pesto had chicken, bacon cream ...and basil, WAY too much. Felt more like a hub for Uber eats than a sit down meal spot. One positive; was one of only a handful of places actually open on a weeknight. (Closed temporarily?)

Just had grilled salmon, best I have ever had! Smoothies are great and the staff are really friendly. Cool and charming little place.

Great little resturant in the main street of Wagga Wagga....the service was excellent. My sister and I ordered the grilled fish and salad on the specials menu...not only was it very reasonably priced....the meal was divine...they topped the fish with a special spicy sauce which was delicious ....I would highly recommend this place.

This cafe is great, friendly staff, tasty & really affordable food plus they do takeaway which is perfect for days like today when I didn't bring my lunch to the office. Grilled fish and salad for only $10, it doesn't get any better than that

Was excited to see they deliver, but extremely disappointed. The steak was tough and grisly. Not happy at all.
