I have dinner with my family tonight. I order the soy crispy chicken which is the best I have in such a long time. The sweet and sour pork was crispy, succulent and fried rice was just so light and yummy. High recommendations
Pricey, but reliable quality (especially the seafood). The flat rice noodles have generous amount of prawns (not the token 2 piddly ones tossed in like 98% of places). Chow mein - the egg noodles have the perfect balance of crispy and soft. Even the sweet sour chicken fritters is very well executed. Worth the price and a must try for the North shore.
I agree a bit pricey, but would be the best Chinese on the North Shore by far. It's quality fresh food.
Long-time institution on the upper north shore that I think has been in existence longer than I’ve been alive. Always popular for both dine-in and takeaway meals, Lotus Inn offers traditional (Australian) style Chinese cuisine that is cooked to perfection. Serving sizes are more than ample and after dining here I guarantee you’ll be back. Does get busy and can be noisy but that’s part of the experience. Recommended.
Almost didn't go in as the place looks like so many other Chinese restaurants in suburban Australia. Glad we did. The eggplant with tofu in Szechuan sauce was worth the visit alone. My wife's a vegetarian and she said it was one of the best eggplant dishes she's ever had. My Kung pow prawns were very good but not spicy and the veggie fried rice was really tasty. Super friendly service and the feel of a restaurant that's been making good food for a long time. We'll be back.
Absolutely divine, this hidden gem surprised me! The food was brought out so quickly and tasted incredible. The staff were super helpful and kind. Will definitely be coming again <3
