Great calamari and juicy prawns basket with an amazing Beach Ale local beer! Love it! Highly recommend :)

Delicious! Simple menu done well. We had the prawn salad, prawn and calamari, calamari rings, and garfish. Lovely big serves, came with chips and salad. We ate in the old boat shed which has a view that can’t be beaten.

Quirky place and great to relax and listen to music. Wood combustion heater keeps things nice and cosy on colder nights. Meals are reasonably priced and average to good. Staff are super friendly.

I ordered 2 rosemary lamb shanks and fisherman’s basket. All very tasty. Kids love them. Salad also good . There are 4 kind of salads and you can choose the salad you like.🥰

We had a serve of fish and chips for two, they were delicious. Great value and plentiful. The service from the takeaway area was fantastic.

We had lunch here today, Sunday. Beautiful spot. Lovely view. I was so looking forward to eating here because of previous good reviews. Service was speedy. We ordered the special, fish and chips. Unfortunately the batter could have been a little crisper and the chips weren’t hot, although they were good chips. The fish itself was tasty. Was it butterfish? Could have been. The “salad” was very uninspiring. A bit of lettuce, a few tiny pieces of tomato and cucumber and a lot of red onion but NO DRESSING! Not really a salad. More a garnish. A couple of things happened when my husband was ordering which led me to believe that maybe the staff that were on were a bit inexperienced. We’ll try again next time we’re in Wallaroo. Hopefully we’ll have a better experience. It wasn’t bad, just not great! I guess for the price of $15 it was ok. I was going to score it 3 and thought that was probably a bit mean so gave it 4. If there had been some dressing on the salad, I might have been happier.

I'm sorry but I really thought the food would have been better ordered slipper lobster and schnitzel bland sauce the crumb was so oily I peeled it off however the meat did have a not nice smell to it the chips hard inside needed 2 more minutes everything seemed to be dumped in the deep fryer and never drained our other meal was prawn and calamari exactly the same greasy greasy the salad was about the best thing and you had to go to another room to serve yourself I can't recommend this place for the food the view is pleasant and Cynthia the new Filipino worker was very friendly and helpful I read a lot of reviews about this place and all I can say is...???????

OMG, the reef and beef schnitzel with slipper lobster was to die for.. was unbelievable, melts in your mouth.

Just had dinner at the Boatshed was absolutely amazing food and service highly recommend ��
