I was passing through on my way to Queensland , after trying to get a meal from two other pubs (kitchen closed) the Colliery Inn was still offering us food. The service, beer and food was outstanding, Nathan and the entire staff were extremely friendly to us and I would recommend this pub to anyone
Got dinner Uber eats delivered last night after a huge day in the yard. First time we have got from there and it was phenomenal to say the least. Food was incredible and the steak was cooked to perfection! Will not be going anywhere else from now on, this is what Aussie pubs are all about!
Staff lovely, food was fine. Nice relaxed feel - was avoiding the trivia night down the road LOL
Stayed one night, unfortunately the room had 3 cockroaches that we found and killed (2 large and 1 smaller), that joined us for the night.
Unfortunate because the place and staff were fine, but 3 cockroaches is unacceptable.
Haven’t had a bad meal there yet. Highly recommend as it is levels above other venues with food. Well done

This hotel needs someone with people skills to help when booking in to the accommodation,the girl I dealt with last Friday was quite unfriendly and not helpful at all,I was a stranger to the town,on my own and she made me feel quite unwelcome,I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone!
