Kingsland is now House of Peking, which used to be at the Jesmond Hotel. (since 25 Mar 2017). One of the best Chinese restaurants in Newcastle. Very authentic, some very spicy dishes if you like the heat, and great yum cha.

The decoration may seem to be antiquated however it's key to the restaurants throwback to the 80s Chinese dining experience. The food is great and the service is friendly.
Waitstaff are always polite and quick. Food is good size servings and is delicious.
Pretty decent feed, need more locations.
Not much to look at but the best Walsend has to offer
