Review Ocean View Cafe - Wamberal

Great food and service! The staff were very friendly, and our table felt a bit exclusive as the outdoor seatings (dog-friendly!) are a bit further from the indoor area and there were no one else than us outside, so it was great :) Our favourite dish was the kingfish ceviche: super tasty and fresh! The tacos tasted delicious, and the Vietnamese salad had tons of different flavours and textures (+ the sauce on the shrimps was amazing!) Cappuccino was also good, and the tropical punch was sweet and refreshing. The weather wasn’t the best when we came but the outdoor seating has a very nice view on the beach!

Waffle was average but slow cooked beef brisket was great!

Beautiful spot for a lunch with family! Only gave it three stars as 24 dollars for one piece of toast is very expensive, also the flavours weren’t entirely balanced. My brother did not like his burger. Great coffee, milkshakes and fresh orange juice though

Easily the best cafe in Avoca. Took a day trip up there from Sydney for the day. Just an amazing experience all around. Food + Service + View. Highly recommended.

GOOD: View spectacular (Australia/world class)! Coffee 5star! Staff engage at highest level (international standard) Food international standard! Prices best value in town when you take in consideration above. NOT SO GOOD: No WIFI. Closed in evening 😟

Magnificent little place! Great coffee, kids menu and friendly staff. Right on the south side of Avoca beach. Love the views and location is perfect! The surf club is part of the same building. The beach is literally outside with the children rocky beach just below the cafe'. The children's sandy playground is at the back of the complex. The carpark extends all the way to the end of the street and it's a short walk.

The food was terrible. We had all day breakfast. Two of us had to send our poached eggs back as they were over cooked. The toast was hard and cold. My toast was soggy due to a huge amount of oil/juices sitting in the middle of the plate/bowl. The bacon was over cooked tasted like charcoal. Very disappointing considering the price. The views are lovely very nice place to eat at if the food was good. But seriously if you can't even cook bacon and eggs right then don't bother doing all day breakfast. It was just embarrassing and no one was impressed with their food.

The best people! So bubbly and helpful. The staff where obviously run off their feet but took the time to clear us a table and grab us a coffee first. This place has one of the top views on the coast as well. i always grab a coffee after a surf, the barista there nic is the funniest. The staff by all means are always looking happy to work there..i would too working with a view like that ☺️

Came here all the way from Sydney. Absolutely love it! Fabulous food. Great seaside view. Friendly staff. Excellent customer service. Definitely worth the travel!

I love this place! The view, the squid and the flawless service combined with a cheeky Sav Blanc make this a must when visiting the beautiful Central Coast. Whenever I am in town, I make it a priority to pop in for lunch as the service team are AMAZING at serving top quality food, well done guys!

Excellent manager - asked his name - Hayden. Such wonderfully mannered young man his service skills are exceptional. As a business owner myself I would definitely offer him a job at my cafe any day. He suggested cocktails to start and we weren't disappointed. The meal was great will be back again.

Food very slow to arrive, drinks weren't - very busy cafe and no soft furnishings, so terribly noisy ! Servings generous and food quality was fresh, even on a Sunday.

This is an exquisite establishment. The panoramic views coupled with the top-notch service make for a superb all-round sit-down. The coffee is exemplary - I can't fault it. The menus are laminated so spilling coffee on them isn't as disastrous as it could be and speaking of the coffee, it's really very, very good and certainly provides a welcome recharge. The banana bread comes served with a halved strawberry which was a pretty sweet extra that only furthered the awesomeness of the experience

Slowest service. Food is OK as long as youre willing to wait 40mins...
