Revisited after maybe a year and a bit, wanted to give this establishment another chance.
Was pleasantly surprised by my brekky burger - I was having major cravings and it definitely satisfied. Serving was quite generous. I’m in love with their tomato relish!
As their breakfast is reasonably priced when compared to other cafes offering breakfast, I’ll certainly return when the craving comes by again. Definitely a winner with the $10 weekday brekky deals.
Love love love the eggs Benedict here..its fairly traditional a concept to many places have forgotten about. The chai, comes with honey and is just amazing. Could stay all day and drink this chai
Everything about this place was so nice! Service was good and the coffee was really good. The food was really nice and quick. The chicken parma is really good as is the fried chicken burger. Staff is very nice. The menu is great and provides a wide range of different dishes. Worth every penny! Must try place!
Amazing place for awesome food, I have no bad words to say about Groove Train. I’m a salad lover and I gotta say that the Thai calamari salad is my favourite on their menu. I took my partner there today for the first time and he loved his Parma (on the special menu) - came with onion rings and meat balls on the side. Great customer service too. Highly recommended 😊
I have been to the wantirna groove train, more than I can count, and everytime I go it becomes better and better. Just recently I had come for a meal with my partner. As we were seated instantly I was tossing up being the hok noodles and gnocchi. Boy oh boy, am I happy I got the gnocchi . The gnocchi itself was soft and juicy and the sauce, my goodness the sauce was to die for! The creamy-ness and pumpkin all just went Devine together. As I’m a huge fan of this dish, I am thrilled to be able to have it come out, not only super quick, but to have it taste so damn delicious. The coffee on the other hand was not soy, but I did not care because the food and the staff were terrific. I will surely be making more of an appearance.
It was a little busy, and service was delayed (to be expected). However, the food was amazing! I would definitely return. There’s heaps to try on the menu.
I chose ‘The Veggie Burger with chips – grilled pumpkin and chickpea patty, cos lettuce, tomato, beetroot relish and cumin yoghurt, on a brioche bun ($19.50)’. The beetroot relish and cumin yoghurt added a wonderful flavour to the burger.
Came here for a work lunch and the food was delicious; well seasoned, generous portions. This place has a lively atmosphere but we were still able to have a conversation without struggling to be heard. Coffee was good. Service was friendly and prompt as well, apart from one older waiter who seemed to be having a bad day and it showed on his face as he was serving our food.
Everything was nice about this place. The service was good, the coffee was really good, the food was really nice and all of it was quick. We were in and out within an hour and we didn't feel rushed. We would have stayed longer if we could have but the booth was booked for 8pm and that was one of the conditions of getting a booth, we had to be finished by 7:50pm. We didn't mind as there are plenty of other places at Ozone to have coffee and dessert. I would definitely come back here.
Very good place to go to if you are super hungry with portion sizes being the standout thing I noted! The freakshakes they have are also awesome being almost a meal on their own! The chicken parma is really good as is the fried chicken burger. Can get rather noisy though so be prepared to have to speak up to have conversations. Staff are very nice. However it is quite expensive.
If you do want a night out in o-zone it is definitely a good option
This was the place we chose to celebrate my partner's 28th birthday last month. We were promptly seated upon arriving and were well looked after by staff who were quick to bring us menus and place an order for a first round of drinks.
We weren't feeling like a huge feast on this particular night so we both opted for pastas; my partner ordering a staple of his, the Traditional Fettuccine Carbonara and myself the Spaghetti Alla Groove, (a delicious spaghetti dish consisting of diced chicken breast, avocado and spring onion in a rich, creamy napoli and basil pesto sauce).
Whilst both these dishes weren't authentic Italian, they were super tasty and very filling. Perhaps the only downside to Crave was the rather pricey menu. Whilst the pizza and pasta menu was quite reasonable, I found their mains to be a little overpriced especially for what you get, which appeared to be a very basic, pub-style serving from what I could gather by glancing at other diner's dishes.

Have been there multiple times and would happily go again. Usually a great brunch spot as the serving portions are really large and the coffee is great!
Would not rceommend ordering the Avo Toast unless you absolutely love parsley.

Menu is great and provides a wide range of different dishes!! Food is very yum and staff are very helpful!! Cute little outside area to sit as and inside is very warm and inviting as well.
Came with hubby for lunch on a Saturday and left very satisfied. Service was prompt and friendly, no issues. Food came out fast as well which was great. I ordered the chicken ceaser salad and hubby ordered the club sandwhich. The salad was just how I like my ceasers, lots of lettuce, sauce, parmesan and a reasonable portion of chicken!
Its also a very trendy restaurant, decor is great, modern and funky.
Will definitely be back!
Food is ok, not the best in the area, over priced, average selection of wines, smokers outside the front of the restaurant with an open front doesn't work when eating with kids, could be a lot better with a bit of thought
Incredible range of food, so hard to decide what to have! Had salmon last visit and it was the best I've ever had! A wonderful experience as always with the Groove Train and will be returning!

Came here to catch up with friends. While arrived late arvo, we ordered drinks, coffee and entrees to share. The garlic pizza was very nice as were the salt and pepper calamari. The duo of dips was good and they changed a dip for us, as one was eggplant. The coffee was good and strong. So chatting away, we ordered more drinks. At 6 pm we were asked if we wanted to order anything else and of course, we were. However at the same time we were advised we had to vacate the table in 15 minutes as it was booked. There was no offer of another table, we had to ask. They checked and yes there was another table free, so we moved. We ordered another round of drinks and entrees, yes it was only a bowl of chip and nachos. The chips were a bit soggy but hot and sadly the nachos were on the cold side. By 6pm the place was jammed packed, and we notice the food was coming out fast.
The staff were pleasant and due to the times we were there, we noticed the change from afternoon friendly to evening get the job done, which we understood due to the numbers.
Had some great meals here, there menu has heaps of options, even a great variety for vegetarians... Great staff and fast prep! Would recommend for someone wanting a good feed for a decent price!
Come here with my partner every time he visits, we absolutely love the food here so many vegetarian options (we love the pan fried gnocchi) would highly recommend this restaurant!
Seriously large variety of meals, I doubt you wouldn't be able to find an option for you. For such a large menu I assumed long waiting times and bulk preparation would be in order but I was pleasantly surprised! The food was out in no time and my meal was catered to my liking, showing the meals are made to order.. Certainly not pre-made! Second time at the Groove Train, you might have a new regular...
Went to this place for the first time tonight for new year's eve, service was good and gave us enough time to decide whilst waiting on a few friends. Food looked good and tasted good. I got the Indian butter chicken and the peach black tea which was $2 with any meal purchased. Would come back again !
Came here for a naughty treat with my little cousin. We ordered a baby chino, latte and the mars bar cake. The staff were very friendly and helped us with a great coffee and cake deal, everything cost just less than $10!!!! The coffee was great, my little cousin said the baby chino was very nice but she wanted another marshmallow ahahhah kids! The mars cake was alright, a little to sweet for me, but my cousin loved it! It seemed fresh :)
The Groove train is perfect for Sunday Brunch! They have some interesting choices for food! I been to a few Groove train's but this one the chef cooks the meal well!
I love groove train! The staff are always super friendly & helpful. The food is delicious and doesn't take long at all (I've been there quite a lot & never wait long) also the coffee is perfect!
Knox ozone like a normal Saturday night was buzzing and its was alive with people.
The Groove Train had an excellent setting and service was in full swing. We sat in the outside smokers and the heaters were so so warm for a cold winters night.
The food was good, the salt and pepper was a generous serving however the menu especially for the limited select is pricey but it was overall great.
Have only tried the Groove Train Burwood and gave Knox a go for a group dinner last week. Quite impressed actually as I'm not a massive fan of GT as my No1 place to go, but I would go back to this one.Started with a shared platter, which came out super quick and was really tasty. Calamari was perfectly cooked. Polenta chips and Eggplant chips were yum and chorizo and bruschetta were also very nice. I ordered the Thai Calamari Salad for main and again, was cooked perfectly. The Thai flavours worked well with it, but they were a little too heavy on the dressing. (fish sauce especially). Next time I would just ask for it on the side, but I would definitely order it again. Others got lamb pizza which they said was nice and another got the Hokkein Noodles. She said it was bland and not very exciting though. Service was great too.
I am having my birthday dinner here right now . First time to try the groove taste of favorite. The eggplant chips are stunning ! Love it . You can have a little bit of everything in this dishes . The polenta chips are good too . Yum !
We went here recently for dinner and were very impressed. The wait staff were friendly and efficient an we were seated outside which was lovely on a warm and breezy evening. There was a good selection of wines to choose from and we had a garlic pizza for entree. I then had the grilled meat platter, which is not nearly as massive as it sounds on the menu, thank goodness. It was the perfect size and all the meat was cooked well. My wife had the club sandwich which was larger than she expected and very flavoursome.
We enjoyed dinning here, left contented and well fed, and will be back!
Enjoyed dinner here with hubby. Wait staff are very friendly and efficient. 'Jasmine' was our waitress who was a real gem - a real credit to the restaurant.
Food ordered was the Porterhouse steak and Chicken Hoiken Noodles. Steak was a little tough but it was tasty and hubby loved the noodles.
Always very busy. We will return.

A pleasant take away pan fried gnocchi with spinach, pumpkin, sage, cream and parmesan. I had asked for cashews also, but told they don't stock them due to but allergies.

Groove train was such a pleasant surprise in Knox Ozone. The menu here is large and covers everything from pizza, steaks, salads, fish and seafood options, burgers and more. The kids menu is great too! Usually such a diverse menu means master of none, but all dishes were good! Good serving sizes, good flavour and balanced. Large indoor and outside dining options for couples to large groups. The staff here are fantastic! Friendly, attentive and not over bearing, some of the best.
Great environment and the staff are super friendly. Lots of indoor or outdoor with outdoor bei g very well heated. Very large menu to choose from both food and drinks wise.
I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could as this is such a small issue but they do charge a 2% surcharge if you order via the QR code located on the table. I'm not an expert in the behind the scenes of how much the QR cost system costs or why they charnge it, but I have never seen that surcharge before and there was no surcharge when ordering via a waiter. Other then that, great experience and will definitely go back. The calamari is some of the best I've ever had anywhere!

Got a long black with cream on the side. Very strong and full bodied coffee, hot but not burned.
4.5 - ‘The Whole Hog’ breakfast was very tasty. Eggs perfect, not a fan of the Italian Sausage (My personal taste not an issue with the food). Generous amount of bacon and other accompaniments. My Son has the ‘BBQ Pulled Pork Benedict’ - Same again - perfect eggs and very nice moist perfectly cooked Pork.
4.5 - Value for money. Can’t complain, prices were well aligned with the size of dishes and beverages.
4.5 - General Seating available on the inside and outside. Toilets a little dated but clean.
This is a great place to visit for coffee or brekkie. You will not be disappointed.
Had a lovely brunch here. The chilli scrambled eggs were fluffy and flavourful, and the iced coffee was great as well. Staff were polite and friendly.
Had a fabulous dinner out at The Groove Train, Knox on Saturday night, our first time out after three months of lockdown. It was great to walk in and feel very safe in these time, tables were nicely separated out and masks were worn along with our vaccine certificates being checked. Food was excellent and the service was the best, did not want for anything and the dessert was so good I took a photo to show it off.
The food options and variety is great for any fussy eater. We had a great time there. The service is very prompt and attentive. The staff were very friendly and well organised. It has both outside and inside tables so you can choose where you would like. They are able to accommodate bigger groups too.
Dined for brunch with a friend. I ordered the chilli scrambled eggs & fresh OJ. Everything was tasty & service friendly.
