First time visited this place. It seems a nice place, however the contruction inside caused dust and noises. Outside dining areas are nice and great. A lot of option including cinema. Free parking and big parking area.
Hope to see the construction completed soon and so, more shops reopening.

This Westfield is fairly standard. It has most shops you need, as long as you're just looking for your basic fast fashion or supermarket type products. It has a fruit and vegetable grocer in one of the food courts that I found very odd. The pedestrian access from any of the car parks are a bit of a pain to navigate around, but the bus access is decent enough. Outside the Westfield you actually have the more mainstream shops like a JB, Supercheap, Lowes, Chemist Warehouse, Rivers and a Salvos, which has its pros and cons depending on where you park.

The centre is undergoing a major renovation since the closure of Myers. The environment for shopping/browsing is uninviting. Unless you have a specific need and know where to get it I would not recommend shopping there until the Reno's are complete.

Review mainly based on play area and parent rooms. The play area is tiny, suitable for toddlers and under 5s. Unfortunately, when I was there, some parents let their school aged children in to run around the area which made it unsafe for my littles. The parent rooms had all the necessities but the parent/child toilet is small, not enough to bring a pram in, which isnโt safe when you have more than 1 child with you. Compared to Eastland and Doncaster, these facilities could definitely be improved.

Currently looks and feels like a death trap, those I spoke to working in stores in the centre have seen an even larger downturn in sales since Westfield decided to remove plaster from the ceiling and rip up the flooring, because the decrease in those coming to shop here hasn't been bad enough since the 2020 lockdowns saw so many stores closed permanently due to no assistance provided with rent from Westfield.
It should be mentioned that none of this renovation work and the sheer level of it was at no point relayed to those with store leases, no one was informed that approximately a third of the shopping centre was going to be ripped down, or that then they would follow with stripping off plaster from the ceiling and flooring for the lower level, but it is okay they have since been informed that the roof should be done by November ๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐คฃ
But with all this disruption to businesses was there any compensation offered? Any rent reductions? Any support at all? No don't be ridiculous.
Winter is coming, that roof was already extra leaky, now without even plaster keep an eye out for Westfields new indoor water feature! Wonder how slippery that uneven rocky concrete floor gets when wet.

2020 shops were leaving Westfield because they were promised a updated version of Knox for years, glad to see the renovations have finally started.
Parking underneath at the front of Westfield is limited because of the renovation, but there's plenty of parking space available at the rear of Westfield.

Visit was short and sweet, just entered near the shop required as it's difficult while they are renovating and so a fly in fly out visit without the usual walk around the centre that could lead to further spending. Good or bad rating depends on perspective - of the shopper and of the store owner! In this case good for me, bad for them!
