I visited the Three sugars on Queen’s Birthday and I had one of the most pleasant and enjoyable dining experiences in my life.
From the moment I walked in, three staff had already greeted me with a smile and offered to help me. Despite the cafe being packed, I barely had to wait any time at all to order my coffee and meal. I’m amazed how broad the menu was, there was an abundance of options.
I received my meal barely fifteen minutes after I had ordered my meal, and ever aspect of it was delicious! I ordered a Mocha and it was excellent (Mochas are, in my opinion, very hard to do since it can be tricky to find the right balance between coffee and chocolate).
My meal was the big breakfast and it definitely lived up to its name. A huge portion of well-cooked sausages, eggs and a delectable hash brown! Even the toast was done to perfection!
Despite the pressure and stress all the staff were under, I had an outstanding experience from start to finish! I cant wait to re-visit the next time I’m in Warburton!! Well done everyone!!!
Am a local adore this cafe, food is wonderful, service is great, staff are friendly, coffee is wonderful, what is really important is that it is dog friendly and our little girl loves her puppachino and her sausage roll, Brian makes a great sausage roll
The portions were really big. Pancakes, baked goods in the display and coffee were really good. Southern fried chicken burger was subpar. :)
We have been a few times now. Sometimes for coffee and cake and other times for a meal with friends. Today with a group of 8. Although it was very busy our meals were brought out promptly and were hot and delicious as were hot drinks. The staff were friendly and very efficient and courteous. Well done everybody. Thank you.
Stumbled across this place while headed to Mount Donna Buang. We ordered the pumpkin quiche and a chicken avocado toastie. Both were very tasty and they did not disappoint !
Just had mothers day breakfast here with my familt, was about a 40 minute wait but we expected that as its mothers day. food was absolutely delicious. i had vegan breakfast paartner had big breakfast and daughter had 2 stack pancakes. was gifted a rose for mothers day when we left. was beautiful..
Went here over the weekend as we were doing a day trip to the area. We went past and saw lots of people eating her as well as lots of space inside so we decided to eat here. Easy to find a table & the staff were very friendly. By the time we sat down after we ordered at the register our drinks were already ready. Now that’s service! Not long after our food was ready to be eaten as well. I got the hash brown stack as I didn’t think I was hungry enough for a big breakfast 😂. It was good, plenty of hash brown! Plus the prices here are pretty cheap as well. Another bonus 😊
Lovely breakfast with large group of 11. Food was yummy, coffee was really good. Staff were really friendly. Great relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Had a fantastic experience at Three Sugars in Warburton. The staff, food and location are all great. Most of the food is homemade and you can tell. Our table had the homemade quiche, hash brown stack and fried chicken burger and all were good.
What an amazing cafe. My partner and I visited this cafe and the service was good.
We had a latte each, my strong skinny was full of froth and delicious!
When looking at the food in the windows it was mesmerising. The cake slices were HUGE and the pies were BIG too. Woo hoo!
We shared a lamb pie which was amazing, full of meat and flavour. Then we shared a chicken Thai sweet chilli pie which was also full of meat and absolutely delicious.
In fact these were the best pies that I’ve ever eaten, and trust me I’ve had more than my fair share hahaha
I don’t understand why the Zomato rating is so low. If you are in the area, you must visit this place.
Unfortunately I was too full to eat a cake, but in hindsight I should have got some to take home. Or I can go back?! And I am definitely going back.

My family and I were welcomed warmly into the cafe. I ordered scrambled eggs on sourdough, one of the best eggs I’ve had! Staff were friendly and accomodating. They came multiple times to check up on how the dishes were and if we were missing any; and also ensured to let my aunty know about what contained gluten and what didn’t for her dietry requirements. Service was also relatively quick despite it being busy. I’m excited to come back for another brunch!
Just a typical cafe in the small town of Warburton, Three Sugars Cafe stands out as one of the larger establishments on the main street. I stopped by for lunch - customer service was great, and coffee also good. I had the Southern Fried Chicken Burger which was slightly pricey, however, it was quite filling, and made using chicken fingers which were very well flavoured - no doubt it was southern style.
Lovely food and service. Had the calamari salad n chips for $21.90 main, big brekkie$19.90 and two cuppas. Lots of cakes, pastries and food to choose.
Made an impromptu stopover at Warbuton on the way to Mt Donnabuang and boy am I glad we did. Three Sugars was bustling but spaces were plenty. I got a Pumpkin and Bacon Quiche which was so satisfying and creamy 👌🏼 The portion was pretty big too - well worth the $8 spent.
My friends tried out their pies but we all agreed that the quiche totally stole the show! The selection of food here is immense so you'll definitely find something to suit your tastebuds 😛
Three sugars is one of several cafes along the main shopping strip of Warburton. It resides in an original old shopfront with a recessed door and a glass facade. Inside, the decor of the two large dining spaces includes chunky timber tables with matching wooden chairs, a blue grey colour scheme in one dining area, and a rich burgundy in the other. The wall art includes a large mud map of Warburton. The service was friendly, welcoming and attentive, and while at first I was the sole customer (late morning, mid-week), it was reassuring to see groups of people gradually drift in towards lunchtime. A number of vegetarian options are included on the menu, and I selected the “vegan vigour” from the all-day breakfast menu, which comprised grilled tomato, mushrooms, roasted capsicum, spinach and smashed avo. Points for catering for vegans. The meal was well presented, and filling, though nothing particularly "special" or creative. The coffee was quite good. Not a bad ambience, with some rock classics playing gently in the background. A pleasant enough cafe, serving good value filling meals.
Usually go here after riding up the "WarbyTrail". Coffee can be miss and hit, usually good, but the home-made blueberry muffins are to die for! Nice sitting on the road side in the warmer weather.
Went today bad decision 30 minutes wait for food to be cooked. Normally good service but not today. Went with my hubby as we went for a drive for our anniversary.
Aftwr a big ride im always looking for a place that makes great eggs and a great breaky. The past few years this cafe has been a little hit and miss, but thiught i would give it another go this morning.
This have turned around!!!
Loveky coffee... juat what i needed. Very large big breakfast. Beans were a warming welcome touch, and i was rapt that they were happy to smear my toast with vegemite before putting the eggs on the toast!!
Thanks guys... i really enjoyed it and will be back again next week!
Loved the coffee and the food! Beautiful view sitting on the deck out the back! toys for the kids too and a playground right next door! And a beautiful river. Great for a walk after coffee and a meal :) Definitely recommend!
Pies are amazing, service is very good.
Three sugars, three thumbs up. Went here for breakfast- the lady who served us was lovely. The fresh juices we had were delicious. The big breakfast was certainly big, the bacon was really crunchy, the mushrooms and spinach were well cooked, the beans were in an italian style sauce was ann interesting choice but it worked, and the fried eggs were perfectly cooked. The beef and mushroom pie was somewhat dry.
Try the beef burgundy. Today I had ordered a beef burgundy pie and a coffee to takeaway and eat by the river at the back of the cafe, the girls serving were very cheery and pleasant, the coffee was OK, but the pie was wonderful. Flaky rustic pastry with a deep filling of tender beef in a good sauce. Sitting by the river was very peaceful but the cafe looked inviting also.
Friendly service. Great Pies baked inhouse. Loved the sweet chilli chicken.
Good midweek lunch.. We went to 3 sugars for a midweek lunch and found the food very nice. I had a 3 Sugars Mountain Hamburger which was big, tasty and filling although the bun only lasted for a couple of bites before disintegrating. My lovely wife had the "Healthy Breakfast" for lunch and she reported it was "fabulous" poached eggs, spinach, two slices of hearty toast, mushies, and smoked salmon. My in-laws had two of the pies which looked pretty good. The down fall of the place was the accuracy of the wait staff. Although friendly they managed to forget one of the meals and one beer. $73 for four meals and four coffees. We'd go back again.
Just had the steak with pepper sauce on chips & salad. Fantastic. Steak was cooled just right, the plate was smothered in gravy and the salad was fresh. What more could you want after the bike ride?
Yum! I got the French toast with maple bacon and eggs. Great portions and friendly service!
Edit: Day 2- We tried different dishes on the menu. Both very delicious. The mushroom bruschetta 👌🏽
The ladies were warm and extremely lovely. The food was reasonably priced and really really tasty. If you want a place to have a hearty meal, this is the place to be. My young kids devoured the cheeseburger, and we had both the big brekky as well as the very very very delectable hash brown stack.
We had a brunch there yesterday and everything was amazing.
We tried the Mushroom bruschetta and the pancakes, they were delectable.
The coffee was great too.
We love the vibes of the place and the view of the restaurant.
Walk in for lunch during Easter holiday season. Very friendly staff was happily made table for us outside in the back as we requested. Nice open space and cute kookaburra was sitting on the fence. I ordered TX chicken burger with chips & my friend had opened steak sand with chips.
Chips was super crispy and hot!!!!
Burger was good seasoning.
Our experience was wonderful with friendly staff’s smiles. Thank you for providing great customer service !!
Lovely staff, good food, and good value for quantity.
Plenty of parking and access from rear of the restaurant. You can also park near to the river, no need to wait for spot on the main street.
Stopped here, after noticing they had a vegan breakfast option. It was excellent, very tasty and not at all oily. Staff was very helpful too. I'll be happy to return.
Love their vanilla slice, so big and creamy. And a place with a fireplace in winter is always a big thumb from me. Raw and pretty set up, friendly service. Will be back for sure
Good start to the morning with a big breakfast. Definitely share this plate with someone if you don't usually eat much for breakfast. Was delicious and filling. Staff is also very warm and welcoming.
