When you find a place to eat that ticks all the boxes, you are suddenly faced with a dilemma. Do you keep it quiet, and all for yourself, or should you share your find with the world so others can experience it too? Luck for you I’m the sharing type... so here goes. Fredeli is a family owned business with a difference. Fred ( Frederico) loves his work. I’ve never met someone more knowledgeable about where his produce comes from, how he makes it, or even how you should cook it if you were preparing the food. He genuinely loves what he does, and it shows in the quality of the food, The fantastic staff he works with, the presentation of each and every dish, and the general vibe you get when you first walk in, to the goodbyes as you leave. I have visited Fredeli five times now in the past 3 weeks, and Fred remembered my name and order, from the 2nd time I walked in, which I find remarkable. Yesterday I brought a party of 9, and whilst it isn’t the biggest place, they were happy to accommodate us without question. All were made to feel special and even the younger ones had no complaints about the menu, with Lasagne, meatballs , and pizza popular options. We had the finest Antipasti ,mixed olives, Focaccia bread , gourmet Vegetarian sandwiches, Buffalo Mozzarella and rocket and fig salad with aged balsamic vinegar, Smoked trout with caramelised aged balsamic onions to die for, cheese platter, meat platter and vegetarian platters. All beautifully presented and all faultless in taste and quality and freshness. I’m not a coffee lover, but members of the parter were, and they all had glowing reports on that front. I on the other hand did sample some Italian beer, Peroni and my favourite Moretti complimented to fine food beautifully. The kids loved the Italian Soft drinks and super long Straws. So if you’d like to experience the tastes of Italy in the heart I Warner’s Bay, I can hand on heart say, you will not find a better place than “Fredeli”. Chris McKay

This place!!!! I went last week to get some deli meat (nitrate free) and was blown away by the friendly service! When we got home and tasted the meat, all I can say is WOW!! It’s the best ham I have ever tasted and NO NASTIES!! Went back again today and had a toasted sandwich and coffee. The service was incredible! The owner (I’m assuming) took great care of us and gave my one year old snacks to chew on. The waitress was lovely and could not have been any more helpful! The coffee was so nice I left with a bag of coffee beans! I cannot tell you how god the food was but the service was excellent! Five stars!!!

Being an Italian myself i just felt like i was back at home eating, very traditional and authentic food, puts any Italian restaurant to shame. Highly recommend for a Friday night dinner or a panini throughout the day. Excellent service and atmosphere as well as food

What amazing food and service. Just like being back in Italy. The most fresh and tasty produce. You won't get this in a supermarket. Home made Pork Terrine, sweet pickled onions and marinated olives and cheeses to boot!

After calling around many deli's on The Central Coast and Newcastle for Guanciale, Fredeli had some in stock, Rode an hour each way from Gosford and it was definitely worth the trip.... If you're after some authentic Guanciale give Fred a call, he'll come through with the goods...

Outstanding, incredible service, food, wine, coffee and desserts. I can't wait to go back for my next treat. Highly recommended .

I stopped here for lunch and the food was excellent but a little overpriced. The kind of overpriced where you don't mind because you received a quality sandwich and the service was also very good. The coffee is well above average also. If the prices were a little cheaper it would be my go to spot for lunch, instead it's a nice treat now and again. Well worth a visit.

Fantastico! Great coffee and food. Freddy knows just how to mix the flavours that you like. The bresaola is amazing. Highly recommended.

This was our first visit today and we loved it. What a hidden gem. The food, coffee and friendly staff made our lunch a very pleasant experience. Good seating outside and in, with gas heating and blankets to keep you warm. We bought some goodies to take home including the ravioli, Gorgonzola cheese and prosciutto. We will definitely be back!
