We've been here multiple times and will be back any time we have an occasion since we live in Victoria. The food is always great, service is minimum but sufficient since all dishes come at the same time since we order a few dishes to share usually. A second drink is always being offered which is great. Staff is friendly and there is never an issue if you're staying back after closing time.
First time we had been to the peacock palace in a long time.the lunch time menu was great & the price. Our waitress you couldn't fault a lot of other people working in restaurants could learn from her.we want be leaving it so long to go back.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Newcastle / Lake Macquarie. It wouldn't skip a beat in Chinatown either.

Dropped in on a Sunday evening and the place was busy with take-away mostly. Quite a few people picking up orders...... we got a special fried rice (no prawns) and the special King Do pork ribs and both dishes were really nice. The pork had just the right balance of Peking style sauce.... a little bit sweet & a little bit tangy. We really enjoyed our meal and will return again. Thanks.
5 stars !! This restaraunt provided me and my partner with amazing food. They were also able to cater for my partners coeliac disease (gluten free). We highly recommend the peking shredded steak. The staff were lovely and genuinely cared for our experience. The restaraunt owner was also so happy to learn that we enjoyed the experience.

order a salt and pepper soft shell crab , deep fry duck, a noodle and fry fried. All foods are above standard with value price. Excellent service, will be back for sure.
Our first meal for a while and it was delicious! Honey king prawns were soo fresh and Fried duck was soo tender.
