Friendly staff. Lovely food. Clean. Play area for young kids. Reasonable prices. Accessible with front ramp. Didn't like that they didn't have lactose free milk available- but they do have almond milk if you like that.

Lunched at the Downtowner today (5 April 22) after a fair while away) and we are members too. i was delighted to see that the Garlic Prawns were back on the Seniors Menu and of course the were my go-to order. The prawns were gorgeous (only 4, but fantastic) and the salad was lightly dressed and very tasty. HOWEVER and this was the BIG however, the creamy rice was exactly the opposite of what was meant to be the creamy rice. `however, when I mentioned this to our waiter when he collected our plates with my left-over rice, he was apologetic and said he would pass on my comments to the kitchen as all feedback was appreciated. Enough said. However, another young man later returned saying that that this matter had escalated and was being investigated further. This young gentleman was impeccable in his service, his attention and his vocabulary - so unusual in today's young. Bravo.

After leaving our fav Pub because the new Menu didn't appeal at all, we found ourselves here. Wow! The customer service was impeccable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food absolutely delicious and plentiful. I seriously had trouble finishing it. We chose the Seniors 3 course Menu for $19.90. The best garlic cheese bread we have ever had. The Carbonara pasta dish beautiful and a gorgeous sticky date pudding. This is truly a wonderful restaurant, so much so that we booked again for next week. There are a lot of restaurants in Warragul that need to seriously look at their prices and lacklustre menus but this restaurant is not one of them. Congratulations everyone.

Great food, good value & great service. Place is very clean and so as the kid's play area Kid menu - $11 , main + soft drink + dessert (ice cream or snake in the pond) Lunch menu $12, many to choose from. Well cooked lamb fry and is still moist inside. Unlike some places which always over cook and dry on the inside. Dinner - Steak is $30. Was a nice piece of meat. Thursday fish & chips is a bargain for $10
