So happy to have chosen this community cafe for lunch: fast service, delicious middle eastern burger (swapped salad to replace chips, no problem) and an all day breakfast choice. Would have preferred peppermint tea to eastern mint tea but. . It was fine :) Reasonable prices and friendly volunteer staff ..will return!

I got the NaNY toastie. This was a lovely toastie with ham off the bone, vintage cheddar, sweet mustard pickle relish, caramelised onion on sourdough. Just simple, great ingredients. Yum!
This was my first visit. We had lunch in Fathers Day in this very busy cafe. We did book prior to our arrival and were seated very quickly. The service was very quick and friendly and as we sat waiting for our lunch the view to the trees and the hill was very pleasant. The food was very yummy and the turmeric latte and coffee very good too. A unique aspect was the adult plus child toilet seats in the very clean and large toilet with a good hand-wash. We will be back

Pretty much the only place in town where the coffee is consistently great, delicious taste, heaps of milk options and perfect temperature.

Went here today and was greeted with friendly service. I got the pulled pork burger with chips. It was really good & delicious.
Only downside is that is was a super hot day and there was no aircon inside. I feel sorry for the people who had to work in the kitchen, they would have been boiling. Outside actually turned out to be cooler then inside.

Beautiful views and lovely ambience. We came here for afternoon tea and each of us loved what we had - nothing overly sweet which is a nice change.
This place has a great laid back community vibe with local artwork, friendly staff, good coffee and hearty fresh food. My friend and I shared the huge serving of couscous salad which I had chicken added to. Just the right balance of texture and flavor. However, the sweet potato chips were the best I’ve ever had....absolutely awesome!! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
If I lived locally, I would be here regularly, but sadly I don’t, so I’ll have to wait for my next trip to this gorgeous part of outer Melbourne.

Had a wonderful experience this morning at Now and Not Yet. Was a very relaxed and warm environment; had a delicious latte as toasted sandwich/ was a great interlude in the day! Was served by a young waitress, Hadassah. She was very pleasant and certainly represented the values and ethos of this cafe very well. We will be back!
Had a good little late Sunday afternoon lunch here. This supposed not for profit cafe has a nice very chilled and casual atmosphere. They have only a small menu all the food we had was very nice, which I actually prefer to a big menu with lots of terrible things. They only have a small beer range but they have four pines and mountain goat which are both more than acceptable as well as two other standard beers for people with no taste. The only fault was that the young girls working there are not yet very professional and the service was terrible, however they were very friendly. Will happily come back to see how it's going again.
Great vibe, energy and people! Sandwiches, focaccia and hot drinks were fantastic, not to mention the hazelnut muffin! Possibly the best muffin I had so far in Australia. Overall, a great place!

I enjoyed my Now and Not Yet Salad, although they forgot to list that it contains olives which I don't like, so I picked them out. Otherwise my meal was great.
The service was very good, and we enjoyed looking at the art products for sale in the gallery room.

An interesting café in trendy, arty Warrandyte, as it not only serves food, but is in fact a luthiers’ and artists’ workshop. Inside the decor is suitably raw and rustic, sporting timber table settings, an exposed bluestone wall, and suspended factory lights. Even the café’s façade is framed in smart timber. The menu is not very extensive, but interesting, and does include vegetarian items. I enjoyed a coffee and some fruit toast from their all day breakfast menu. This café has a very good vibe to it, and the service was welcoming.
I opted for the ‘Bacon and Egg Burger – two pieces of crispy bacon, fried egg, cheese, tomato relish and avocado, served with a hash brown ($16.00)’. The bacon and egg burger was massive with double bacon and double egg.
This place ticks plenty of boxes - lovely outlook, friendly service, great coffee and some great dishes.
I get the feeling that this cafe is like the day-time heart of Warrandyte. There is certainly a sense of community about this cafe, and I think it's style, staff and menu suits the area very well. I really like how the windows open up to make the cafe feel semi-outdoors on a nice day.
It's great they provide wifi too (although connection can be a bit hit and miss).
If you're in the mood, treat yourself to one of their great muffins!
Nice little spot, dropped in to grab a take away flat white and a hot chocolate for my boy. Offering rewards cards and bean around town coffee beans. Also cold press coffee is available.
Just went in for takeaway coffees, and it was packed. Coffee was excellent, just ask for strong if you prefer a bit more oomf. Not for profit cafe for the betterment of the community, so cool.
Great smashed avocado breakfast - beautifully presented and tastes even better. Great wet chai tea too. Highly recommend this cafe to anyone.
We went to Warrandyte over the easter week end for a relaxed afternoon and decided to give Now and Not Yet a try for a late lunch. Turned out to be a great decision! Over that week end all the staff was volunteering. They had a special easter menu, I ordered the lamb curry, and the miss tried the souvlaki. When the dishes arrived they looked so good that we figured we'd just put the plates in the center of the table and share everything! Both dishes were absolutely delicious and I keep a great memory of this place and the food they cook.
Bustling and busy on Easter Sunday morning. Smashed avo with poached egg went down a treat. Hot chocolate was fine too. Perhaps a little on the smallish serving side.

This place reminds me of my first car. Sturdy, reliable with a subtle hint of hipster… their coffee is the best in Warrandyte and the food is great for Cafe fare. The Open Steal Sandwich is a crowd pleaser, and comes with the most delicious cheese skirt on top of prime porterhouse. The burger of the day provides a little
intrigue… all round a good place to take a lover, colleague, auntie or long lost friend.
Delish lime friande and pretty good soy mocha. The atmosphere is hip and they do a lot for the disadvantaged. On top of that, they're in the coolest suburb in Melbourne.
What a great space! A community that's gathered around a Not For Profit serving amazing coffee and food. What a novel idea some might say but isn't that what we're called to do as responsible citizens of this world that a creator God has gifted us with? GREAT FOOD! Finally, Warrandyte gets a trendy little cafe with modern cafe food. We had the bacon& egg roll which was delicious as it came with a handmade (?) tomatoe relish, 2 x hashbrowns and quality, lean bacon. We also ordered the poached eggs on bread which was completely fine but it looked a bit plain (& white) as there wasn't any garnish,not even a spring of parsley for colour.
The coffees were fine but a bit steep at $4 and the service was swift and efficient.I would visit again to order the smashed avocado dish. They also have a small onsite artist's hub which sells beautiful wares.
Friendly people, great atmosphere, really tasty single origin coffee and the food was on point. Opt for the chef's pan with spicy chorizo, beans, egg, cheese and some tasty croutons. The only negative would probably be the lack of organisation in taking orders and bringing things out at the appropriate times. This one is worth the drive on a nice day for sure. It's a non for profit and they support local artists etc. Good on them, keep up the great work.

Loved the food and their fair portion. Nice coffee although probably more on the strong side (beware those who like their coffee gentle or weak). Went with 2 other families and we all loved the foods and ambience. Great way to the catch up on Saturday morning with the adults while the kids busied themselves on the kids corner. Loved all the artwork being showcase there too, lovely artist working there.
Went yesterday for lunch. The food was lovely. I had the pork rolls with chips & aoli, my daughter the stuffed mushrooms with cous cous, both were flavoursome & interesting. The staff were very friendly & it was lovely to see an artist at work. The music was mellow & perfect for a Sunday lunch. I will definitely be going back :)
Good breaky - atmosphere is rad!. I love that this place overlooks Yarra street and is also a guitar workshop - it's tres cool. The food was good enough to make me want to come back, though the eggs benedict is a little old hat and the menu could use a little freshening up. But very good food and will be back.

Apparently Now and Not Yet is a non-profit run café and once up and running and making some moolah, they hope to support local events, organisations and people in need. What a fantastic operation! I absolutely love this place already! Me being me, I was feeling a bit indignant at having to wait outside while the weekend blow-ins sipped their lattes and tagged themselves at this groovy new café.
