Review Kokomo Cafe Bar - Warrandyte

KOKOMO does a special friday-only burgers that I can confidently say are the best burgers I've ever had - definitely the best in the area! Thank you very much for providing a wonderful takeaway brunch for only $15 each ! The side of chips was also very generous

I was going to give 5 stars for the 2 other times I have visited but this time deserved 3 stars at most. Service wasn't friendly and slow and we had to ask for cutlery and salt and pepper. Food was cold and undercooked fritters. Salad had 3 tiny pieces of cauliflower. Hopefully they return to their former glory

Service was really friendly and very accommodating when we asked to slightly change dish. Our chai latte and cappuccino were nice and our food was served quickly. falafel grain salad was decent portion and delicious. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Loved it,great food, tasty. Shared mac and cheese fried sticks, really unique taste Had the eggs benedict on sourdough, with avo, friends had the frigate zucchini and corn, salmon with scrambled eggs and Korean burger. All well served. One suggestion, please think of installing some insulation on the veranda cover, so that it doesn't heat up so quickly.

Excellent service, great location and good prices. I had the beef burger which was huge and well engineered. Chips were spot on too.

The staff were super friendly and lovely to talk to. The service was a little slow, but it was great that my friends and I got our food at the same time! I ordered fish and chips, with Dory as the fish and it was pretty average. The batter seemed unnecessarily crunchy, and the fish itself was a little chewy with not a lot of flavour. The chips were soggy and weren't that enjoyable. Good place to stop by, but not sure I would attend again.

Food just OK,bacon was over cooked, waffles not bad but could be better. Staffs are very friendly ,nice environment.

Had a lovely lunch here. The service was friendly and cheerful. Water was provided and replenished when the jug was empty. I enjoyed my meal too. The bacon was great, very crispy. Photos are of Kokomo breakfast, and Poached eggs with smoked salmon.

Had a lovely Father’s Day lunch here with my family. First time visiting Kokomo but we will definitely be back!

Warrandyte has plenty of places to eat and with the recent addition of Kokomo, there is always anticipation of how it will stack up against the others. With this site having had a few cafes start here, it would be nice to see if this one can step up and stay around.
Today I had brunch with a friend and found Kokomo to be nice but not outstanding.
The decor is quaint. Artwork for sale on the walls. Book exchange at the front door.
The menu is good with plenty of choice for everyone. The standards of eggs on toast, smashed avocado and Bircher muesli makes it no different to many other places.
I had poached eggs with bacon and croquettes. My friend had the granola which is a stunning sight to see when it arrives. Colourful. Cleverly presented. However, it was very sweet which you’d expect from so many berries. Mine was nice but I find sourdough tough to eat with such crispy crusts. Bacon was plentiful but a little over cooked.
The service is lovely and the staff very helpful and quick to take your order then serve your meal.
Not wheelchair friendly as there are steps to the cafe but with a walking frame or cane you’d be fine. Kid friendly with some interestingly different menu choices for the little ones.
You can dine in or out with heaters helping on the cold days outside. The outdoor benches would be nice to sit at on warmer days.
If you’re in a rush, takeaway is available. Music playlist was nice and good as background music.
$42 for brunch is about the goof price for 2 people.
Will return as it’s so close to home.

🥚 🥪 d e b i 🍊 🍴

Three of us had a great breakfast after a Trail run around the Warrandyte area. Two of us ordered a truffle mushroom dish modified for their vegan diet. The staff asked them about options they would prefer - very nicely done. The truffle mushrooms were very nice. The other oder was thick sliced fruit toast. Again very good. Recommended cafe.

We went to this cafe with some friends from out of town and we loved it.
Service was great and everyone was so friendly! Meals were a good size and very delicious. I had the beef burger and I would have it again!

A cute cafe located in Warrandyte. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a friendly staff member who was super chatty & nice which was awesome. The cafe was small but they have worked wonders with the layout & art work that it feels spacious & homey. Plus there is seating outside if you want to soak up some vitamin D. I was craving waffles, so I ordered the waffles plus the maple bacon. My friend ordered the salmon & eggs. The food came out quite fast & my waffles looked to die for! My waffles were delicious, definitely satisfied my craving. The fruit was really nice & wasn’t sour like what you get from other cafes. It was good quality fruit. However if you order the waffles you must try it with the maple bacon. OH MY GOODNESS it was delicious. Not too sweet & not too savoury. It was just right. Definitely the highlight of the dish. My friend really liked my waffles too and she kept saying her eggs were the best eggs she has ever tasted.

Great menu, food was amazing and staff were friendly. No hollandaise sauce on the menu but when my partner asked about it they made it for him anyway.

Have been here a few times in the last 2 weeks - coffee has been consistently good (takeaway and in store), eaten here twice this week and had the salmon eggs both times - delicious! Of our group of 6 for brunch we were all impressed and got different meals. Staff are lovely also
