Review Logan's Cafe Restaurant - Warrnambool

Tristan
Loved the pastas and great service. Only the pacific rim chicken entree was disappointing for $16 with only three pieces of chicken that didn't taste all that special.

I am really disappointed with the fake google review point for this Italian restaurant. I ordered the Eye Fillet for Medium Well. They served a well done steak which is complicated over cooked. Their chief who has 20 years experience insisted this is what I ordered. I really doubt that if he can tell the difference between medium well and well done. I really can’t persuade myself to finish this chewy beef jerk.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Tasty food,. No complaints from us - tried their specials , burger and lamb. All good and quite exceptional. Price point was a bit higher than the norm I felt. Probably out by a mark or two. Not too crowded and found a table easily

Service was fast & efficient. I ordered the calamari & it was huge! I couldn't finish the meal & I had skipped breakfast that morning! The chef catered for my dietary intolerances too. It was busy (Christmas lunches) so if attending at this time of year I definitely suggest booking. Worth a visit.

Five stats not enough Logans is the easily the best restaurant in Warrnambool it's one of only three venues in Warrnambool that i know of that uses mainly fresh food not frozen food the staff are friendly and smiling and have great customer service skills my favorite is the crispy southern fried chicken it's tasty and real chicken unlike other places Logans also has a good range of craft beer's

We have been eating here for years. We used their takeaway service a bit thru covid shut-downs and their food is always tasty and a good amount. Have never had a bad meal or met a bad staff member. 1 of my favourites.

First visit and thoroughly recommend food. Restaurant lovely and clean. Maybe the staff could have been a bit more friendly. Absolutely nothing wrong with the service.

Good sized meals. Accommodates for fussy eaters due to the large menu. <br/><br/>The hot and cold seafood is always a good “go to” or the Brandy Chicken and mushroom pasta. <br/><br/>Casual, reasonably cheap and pretty good food.

Best Pork Belly dish in Warrnambool! With the apple/creamy mayo type sauce and served on a bed of mash, it is the best! Great selection of cakes and food! Highly recommend.

Come here for the calamari $14.9 for lunch. Price escalates at dinner $24.9. Loverly and fresh and the sweet sweet soy dipping sauce. Nice staff, wasn't overly busy, 11.45 on a Saturday!

Never had a bad experience at Logan's! <br/>In my past 10+ years of attending here, have always got the calamari (highly recommend) but last night tried the vegetable pasta that was also quite good. Wait staff is terrific. A great place for being a little bit nicer or a meal and quite modern without shooting a hole in your pocket.

I always visit when I'm down from Melbourne, the calamari has been my fav since I can remember. Always great service, prices are good, food is good, plenty of a selection on the menu to suit everyone

Good service. Menu looks good but delivery need some work. <br/>Coconut Prawns were more batter than coconut coating. Pork Belly was good. Kangaroo was way over sauced (all I could taste was sauce not the flavour of the meat) Calamari was tender but chips were just plain ordinary.<br/>Dined with vegans so their Vegetable Stack ended up being a plate of warmed marinated Veges piled high with an insipid tomato sauce on the side. <br/>Big, really big portions. <br/>Kids menu was the usual suspects (ham and cheese pizza, nuggets and chips, penne carbonara). It's because of food like that I normally make the little dumplings order from the real menu.<br/>Sorry but will not be going back to Logan's.

I am a hard marker... But Hogans is worth the 4.0. <br/><br/>Had the delightfully slow cooked lamb rump on mustard mash. Excellent. <br/><br/>Followed by 'Something Warm' which tonight was a sticky date pudding. Caramel sauce was delicious, and enough to douse the entire pudding (which, unfortunately, is not a regular experience). <br/><br/>One of our table became a little ill while dining - no fault of Logan's at all. The staff were attentive and caring. Very much appreciated. <br/><br/>Excellent ambiance. Reasonable value for money. <br/><br/>You will live this place. <br/><br/>Definitely going back.

Excellent meal. We stopped here for dinner after a long drive down the Great Ocean Road.<br/>The food was delicious starting with our parties entree's of vegetarian spring rolls (two very large rolls full of lovely vegetables and coriander), the soup of the day (tomato, bacon and basil), trio of mushrooms and garlic bread which was a small cob loaf shared by all.<br/>Our mains of grilled Barramundi topped with prawns in a cream sauce, Rib Eye Steak ( cooked a perfect medium rare) and Lamb Rump accompanied by perfectly cooked veg were all tasty. If we had one complaint it was that the meals were very large and we should not have ordered both entree's and mains - very much exceeded our peeper to pie hole ratio!!<br/>The service was casual and friendly with the highlight being our young waitress who was a delight to chat to during and after our meal.<br/>A great place for a nice casual meal at the end of a long drive.

Good food and good value!. I have been to Logans many times and happily recommend it to anyone. The food is great, always fresh, they use really good ingredients and don't over work it. I usually order whatever fish is on the menu or the fish of the day. The salads are fresh and tasty, not drowned in dressing, they make them fresh to order so they aren't limp and tired. Logans is diagonally across the road from the cinema and they have lots of dinner / cinema combo's which is great if there's a crowd of you. If you tell the staff you are going to the cinema they will make sure your meal comes out quickly so you don't have to gobble and run, the staff are friendly and helpful, the food and wine are good value, you can order by the glass as well which is great. Great food, great value, no pretensions.

Lovely food, fun and wonderful service. We had dinner on Friday night, having driven along the coast from Melbourne to get here for most of the day. I had a confit of duck and my better half had the atlantic salmon with prawns etc. Both were excellent. The seafood was fresh and succulent and the duck was near perfect. The service was fun, lively and so warm and inviting. Wonderful place, well worth return visits.

Logan's was excellent! The food was gorgeous, big portions so great value and they were very accommodating to our family! All round awesome. Don't waste time anywhere else Logan's has it all!!!! The steak was a winner, salmon and seafood pasta!

Logan's restaurant always delivers a great meal. I really like the location off the Main Street so parking is always very easy to find. Every time I go there I have the Thai chicken Fillo. Comes with seafood as well and if you like chilli this could be the dish for you. The calamari entree is always a delight and nice way to start the evening. I've always found the service friendly, helpful and quick. Casual dining so you feel comfortable, the only thing I could suggest this restaurant to do is dim the lugging so it's softer on the customers eyes.

First time visit Warrnambool & didnt know what to expect. We found this lovely place from urbanspoon so decided to give it a go. We dined in on Tuesday around 6.30pm & had no reservation as we didnt know it. Luckily we went in early & staff were friendly to give us a table. We ordered Salt & pepper squid and Battered oysters for entree then Salmon special & Eye fillet steak. The main dishes were generously served, but we managed to finished it all as it was THAT good! Definitely money well spent!! Will come back when we visit Warrnambool again.

Good service, good food. We had the vegetable soup and the seafood platters (battered and hot & cold versions). Seafood was fresh and soup really tasty. Easy to see the chefs and the wait staff care for the food and service offered.

Logan's. Went in at 6.30 to beat the dinner rush and the food and service was amazing! We barely waited 10 minutes before our entree arrived. All 3 courses were fantastic. Best dinner since we moved here!

Excellent resturant, Amazing food, outstanding customer service, there is no resturant like it in Warrnambool, it's a must ***** Thx to Shane & team.. Wonderful, wonderful :)

The fish of the day was great. Steak and port both over cooked. Good service, good wine

Although the service can fall behind a bit on a busy night (there is a large function room out the back and there are usually functions every other Friday and Saturday night), the staff are welcoming and friendly, and if they do slip there is nothing a gentle reminder can't remedy; my boyfriend and I have the same meal every time we go, although everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the calamari and the pacific rim chicken - absolutely delicious and come with the most amazing house made dipping sauce. I would also recommend booking ahead of a weekend to ensure a seat as it is a local hot spot and often books out in advance.

Very Ordinary. Booking for 7 pm, finally seated at 7.30. They returned at 7.50 to take our order. They food arrived at 8.50 after a gental reminder!! The food had been microwaved and the tastless. I had several recommendations to eat here but I wont be back. Was planning a 40th birthday but they lose that 100 + people function.
