Review Simon's Waterfront - Warrnambool

First time in Warrnambool, driving en route to Melbourne. Pleasant dining experience all round! We arrived at 530 pm without any reservations and for a Thursday night, they only had one table for four available until 630 pm. Popular place! Stay or go? We stayed and the waiter gave us tips on what dishes would be fastest to prep- fish n chips and calamari with Asian salad. Good portions, nicely done with a light batter and tasty. Friendly service, warm ambience and beautiful seaside views as the sun set. Pricier than I would usually pay for the same in Adelaide but no regrets.

A group of 5 of us made a reservation for the restaurant in advance, because it was already dark when we arrived, so we didn't go to the seat where we could see the sea. The interior decoration is very beautiful, suitable for a warm chat atmosphere after dinner. Meals had special chef recommendations each day and we enjoyed delicious recommended meals. Also very full to eat. Also enjoyed the delicious red wine and had a very pleasant evening.

What a fantastic venue for my son and daughter in laws wedding, everyone went out of their way to make a fantastic experience and memories of a lifetime 😀 ❤ The meal was the best large venue one we've ever been to, Calamari starters followed by a brilliant steak so juicy and tender with gorgeous vegetables. The backdrop is awesome 👌 Thanks so much to you all PS when we popped in for lunch the following day, absolutely scrumptious 😋 😍

There are two transparent balls that are very innovative outside. The outdoor dining is spacious and bright, but the equipment is a bit outdated. It was past four o'clock in the afternoon when we arrived, so we didn't eat anything.

Great view, nice room, lovely fish and chips and great coffee . We went on a quiet Friday winter afternoon so pretty quiet which suited us. Friendly service and kitchen accommodated us despite the unusual time

We had seafood chowder and seafood linguine for lunch which are absolutely fabulous. The seafood chowder is so creamy and milky, full of fresh ingredients. It is so good that we went back for it during dinner time.

Food was alright, you expect more for the money you're spending. Portion size was about half what I was expecting. I often find myself never returning to places I leave feeling empty, so I won't be back.

Welcoming and cozy, beautiful wine, friendly and attentive staff, a menu that gets the tastbuds going, so many great choices, loved the pear and parmesan salad and then the lobster ravioli and chowder just so good. Couldn't resist desserts they were delicious, all in all a gorgeous place to relax and be spoiled. Can't wait to get back to warrnambool just to eat here!

Service was excellent friendly staff but unfortunately food was poorly presented and over cooked. Salmon fitters were burnt tasteless and had minimal Salmon inside. My girlfriend ordered Calamari, which on the menu came with a side salad. It was presented clumped in a bowl, when she asked for her Salad staff said it no longer came with it but was clearly on the menu they offered her a bowl of rocket instead. The burgers were fine and if I was to eat here again burgers would be my first option.

A magical waterfront place great views friendly welcoming and very efficient staff breakfast menu was yummy would have loved to try the lunch and dinner menu .. after travelling for 5 days and some very lukewarm approaches this was a great way to end our trip .. thankyou to the team at Simons and have a wonderful new year �

Restaurant by the Sea! If you want to enjoy your meal with an amazing view, just head down to Simons Waterfront. Not only are you paying for an aesthetically pleasing view, but also quality fresh food. My recommendation would be the calamari burger, loaded nachos, clam chowder and the seafood marinara spaghetti! Check them out if you're in the area!

We have had many special occasions at Simons Waterfront and have never been disappointed. The staff are wonderful and the food is great. Paella. Chowder, Lamb shanks. The sliders, the Pork belly. My Lava cake was gorgeous. We had a special family gathering there again yesterday and it was great fun as always. The breakfasts are always great. If the place is busy and one has to wait for a table that is testament to its popularity. And that is without mentioning the fabulous view. Yesterday there were whales frolicking in the bay. What is not to love? 💛

Love love love this place �. Food is delicious, atmosphere fantastic & God damn best views in Warrnambool��. Staff always helpful & eager to please though this time found one to be a bit abrupt. That said I'll definitely will be back in November ����

Save your money had to wait 15 minutes to order for lunch menu and then couldn't order off breakfast menu so we ordered drinks all came out except 1 which took so long to arrive they refunded the money for it. Then when we placed our order we were told there was no beef for the burgers we were also told after the fact that there was a kids menu but they didn't have one we could look at so she told us what was on it . We thought that after all this the food should be amazing when the food came out it was all very average certainly the only thing going for this place is the view because the staff were not terribly pleasant either will not go back or recommend ��

Such a great spot with a great view! Staff are friendly and helpful. Love the lunch menu excellent food 👌🏾 The only real let down is the breaky, poached eggs, just too under cooked for our little breaky crew 🙁

Tonight we were met by beautiful friendly staff constantly smiling and checking to make sure we were happy. Our meals were sensational, I had the pork belly and my husband had the seafood platter, and our table OMG we were placed by the window with a view of the ocean to watch the sunset. Thank you for everything.

Been to restaurants on Southbank in Melbourne, out for dinner in Queensland, dinner in Europe and this is by far the best place I have ever eaten at!! Can't wait to go again!!!

Our favourite place to visit, have coffee and lunch when in Warrnambool. Great views, Fantastic coffee and delicious food. We are always looked after by wonderful staff. Thanks for a great lunch today �

Simon's welcomed our big group at short notice. We all enjoyed our meals particularly the seafood chowder signature dish. Views are amazing, food fabulous and great service. We will be back again soon!

Great view, friendly quick service, great food and coffee. The milkshakes are worth a try too!
