The place is very chic and the food always very good. My waitress was very friendly and help me to choose my meal. It was very tasty. I loved it.

The best fine dining experience in Warrnambool , just as simple as it is :) A big thank you to Benoit, the French waiter, who suggested all the dishes I had, merci beaucoup 🙂🙂

I had a beautiful soup - at $14 you expect something special. And it was! Large portion of potato and celeriac soup with crunchy tasty toasted sourdough. I could taste cheese, and the the soup was filled with fresh herbs and vegetables. Seasoning was perfect. The soup was obviously finished off fresh. Perfect lunch.

Great food, reasonably priced and good atmosphere nice little place to eat on a winters day, or on a nice warm spring day.

Me, my wife and daughter, had a great Saturday night dinner at the Quorum. The food, especially the beef, was excellent. Staff were warm and even understanding re food intolerance issues. It’s a nice country restaurant with its fair share of charm. I think the locals of Warrnambool like this place, I recommend checking it out even if your a blow-in.

Classy atmosphere. Very good food, but it is cafe style, not fine dining. Staff were young and relatively inexperienced. Great spot for a more quiet and intimate meal. Give it a go!

Always a joy with delightful staff and exceptional service. To Dine in these elegant settings is a pleasure I enjoy sharing. Last but not least, the food is of the highest quality and easily rates with the best Melbourne has to offer.

We had my Mum's 80th bday dinner at Quorum last weekend. We went all out and hired the private room - an extra $80 - thinking it would be special to have our own space, and presumably attentive service. The room really is beautiful, and there was plenty of rampaging room for kids without the worry of bothering other guests = WIN, But we found we were left alone a little TOO much. Our waiter was a lovely young man, but we found we had to hunt him down on more than one occasion to attend to our needs as he also had responsibilities in the main dining room. SO what was the $80 fee all about?! We spent the night continually asking for the water jug that never seemed to come, pouring our own wine, and going to the counter to ask about the menu etc. My elderly mother insisted on paying the entire $800+ bill for the 11 of us - not cheap - to have 3 serves of very tough and over cooked duck served up to us. At $42 a pop not only was the duck badly cooked but a tiny serve! My biggest regret of the night was not sending my duck back. My mum was far too polite to do that, but did mention the next morning that she wished she had complained about this as she handed over all her dollars. On a brighter note the cake from 2 tarts baking could not be faulted. And there was loads to take home. Although I had to present to the counter once again after the bill was paid to remind our waiter to pop it in a doggy bag for us take home. Hmmmmm

Dissatisfied and incredibly disappointed. Do not visit this restaurant if you have food intolerances let alone allergies. Gluten free meal requested by a celiac (as it was listed as GFA on the menu) and the order was placed with the business owner. Once all was said and done the owner did not charge for the meal and offered an apology from the chef. Trust me - the money saved on the bill will not even go close to medical costs incurred, loss of income or physical pain and damage. Floor Staff, read your dockets and know your products. Chef, you should know better. Owner, you need to review your procedures.

I enjoyed High Tea with my 10yr old daughter and a good friend yesterday. The food was AMAZING. The atmosphere and friendly service was top notch as usual. They had a lady playing the piano as we relaxed and chatted and enjoyed our decadant 4 course high tea. Would recommend to anyone wanting to do something special.

'The building is impressive, but that's about it. The food menus are on photocopied sheets in crappy plastic binders, with 'one of everything', and from what we ate they do not do it well. Here's my example: $42 for a fatty, cheap piece of steak and uncooked vegetables: it would have you condemned in Melbourne! My partner's Seafood Bouillabaisse was a bowl of frozen (thawed, mercifully!) fishy bits in a tasteless broth.
The tables are marked, the crockery is mismatched - it goes on and on. These aren't hard things to fix. There's no finesse whatsoever here.
Pay half the price elsewhere.

Was named Warrnambool club. very old house and inside were really fully of historical smell. Nice food and service, particularly the squid, very fresh and nice cook, outside is very crunch and inside was very soft.

Good food, service and ambience! Best scones with cream & jam. Can’t wait to go back and have their scones again. The fireplace added a nice touch to the whole experience!

Been here a few times with family - always a delight! Inside decked out with regal chairs, open fire places, and huge chandeliers. Amazing selection of cakes of a high quality. Also can't forget to commend the lovely staff! A great place to go on a cold winters day!

I absolutely disgusted by this restaurant, no where near the expectation I expecting based on their furnishing. We order 4 entree and 6 main (5 wagyu and 1 zucchini flower) and it took the staff 1.5hrs for the mains to be dishes up. On many occasions we've asked the staff how much longer we'd have to wait, and the answer was always about 10 more mins, and yet we were disappointed every time. And the worst part was there were other diners in the restaurant who sat down after us and ordered after us (mind you they ordered the same meal as us), got their food served before us. Not sure is the restaurant was discriminate again Asians or they just can't handle 5 steaks at a time! And when the steaks was finally served, our 5 medium rare steaks was ranged from rare to well done, hardly any was on the spot!!! I'm truly, utterly disappointed by this level of service. Never returning again!

We dined here for lunch on Saturday of Queen's Birthday weekend and were taken by the great ambience and class of this venue. Whilst the menu was not extensive, the food is definitely worth going back for. I am not a beetroot fan but had the beetroot spanakopita. It was really tasty and the cheese in it mostly masked the taste of the beetroot. The only downside was they left some of the baking paper stuck to it. Whilst the waitress did pick up on this and was friendly, they did not offer a drink for the inconvenience. Given we really liked the venue, food itself was great, and service was otherwise good, we shall be back in the near future.

This always my go to place, lovely and friendly staff. The area is rather cosy which is great on cold days, I think the pricing is good as the food is great, it's rare I leave this place unpleased. Check it out

Club warrnambool also own 2 tarts baking. I ordered my wedding cake from these guys. They were provided with photos. Payment was required 2 weeks before the wedding. The cake was very expensive and looked nothing like what was asked.
No apology, refund or effort to fix was made.
They also have a Facebook page which has wonderful/all positive reviews, seems this is the case because the review I wrote twice has been deleted twice.

Dinner was a serious turn off. I had dinner here for a friends birthday a year ago. I ordered the beef wellington. The menu mentioned pate as a feature of the dish. What it failed to mention was that the meal would be COMPLETELY SMOTHERED in pate. The pate was incredibly overpowering and a major turn off. The cut of beef was beautiful and eventhough there was plenty of it you couldn't taste the meat with the ridiculous thick layer of pate taking over the whole dish. It was revolting - dripping all over the plate. I don't use the word revolting loosely. In the end after battling with scraping mounds of the messy pate off the beef so I could actually get it down, I left at least half of the meal on the plate. I was not alone in doing this.

I felt really bad leaving the restaurant. I paid top dollar for a meal that I couldn't stomach - it was a robbery. I also felt really guilty after leaving a beautiful piece of beef on the plate.

I have returned once since (after a long time) for lunch. I had a warm chicken salad. This was very tasty. The portion size however was tiny. Lots of leaves a 3 very small pieces of chicken. Again, this was not a cheap lunch and while I thoroughly enjoyed all that was on the plate, I again left feeling hungry and had to eat shortly after going home. Very stingy portion. Bad value for money overall and no I am not a hippotamus size parma obsessive bogan FYI!

This place has a lovely cosy feel and I really would love to frequent such a nice place, alas when the food is so disappointing why would you bother. Tea/coffee and cake is probably the most reliable option here. Maybe I will go back for that.

Warrnambool local

Inconsistent service a let down. Both the positive and less positive reviews on this restaurant are generally correct.

The quality of the food is generally excellent and certainly one of the best in Warrnambool.

However the service standards and attitude of staff vary enormously - given it is one of the more expensive restaurants in town this is inexcusable. The owners need to visit the Pickled Pig to see local service of a high standard.

If the service standards became consistently of a high standard the restaurant would be unbeatable. The owners at times need to display more of a customer centred approach as well. Sometimes diners are left feeling that they are unimportant.

Setting the record straight.... I was absolutely blown away to see this restaurant not scoring highly on Urban Spoon. As a Warrnambool local I can tell you without hesitation that this is one of the best (if not the best) restaurant in town. Beautiful heritage building, great décor, fantastic staff, rotating menu and delectable food! Deserts are by the same ladies who have just opened Two Tarts Bakery directly across the road and are "The Bomb" (especially the Bomb Alaska...). Throw in the open fireplace and live music (on occasion) and you have a fine dining experience rivalled by few restaurants in Warrnambool. Clearly the reviewers rating this restaurant poorly are more of your "pot and Parma" clientele. If you are looking for something a little more top end, I would highly recommend Club Warrnambool!

Fantastic!. Lovely decor and atmosphere to have a fantastic meal with attentive staff. Everything served was not only delicious but perfectly sized and to top it off the coffee was great.
If you're looking for cheap, oversized and bland meals, this place isn't for you.
I'll be back for more one day.

Great food and service, love the atmosphere of the old gentlemens society building, live music, open fire place with nice big chairs. Very good if you want to have a special night out.

What can I say!!. The Club!!! What can I say, BRILLIANT!! Great staff, Great menu, Great building! The ladies who own/manage this restaurant are doing a fantastic job! The establishment is clean, tidy and has a great atmosphere. It is a bit of an awkward place to have a dinning room but the managers have done so well with the confined spaces. The outgoing staff made me feel important and welcome! Highly recommended especially if you are a tourist, it is a must to check out the beautiful building! The menu is great, wide range of food, the staff and chefs are so helpful. Having CHANDON on the sparking by-the-glass sold me! THANK YOU CLUB WARRNAMBOOL!!!!

Disappointed. Very small servings for the price of breakfast. Too much basil in the Roman eggs and the 'hollandaise' sauce had a funny lemon taste to it. Won't go back again!
