The man washing dishes was very handsome and hospitable. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. I loved the presentation of the soft shell crab, making it my favourite dish.
Always quick service no matter how busy & happy to adapt to vegan options & making things fresh even if it’s already on the train. (One of us is fussy about the salmon dishes being fresh & hot). Just wish they did more vegan options. Otherwise always a ‘go to’ favourite 🍣🍜🍙
What can I say, my fiancé have and I have a slight obsession with sushi train! The food is just too good, never a bad experience and all the staff are really friendly and polite! Sometime we wait a little bit to be seated in a booth but it's always worth the wait!.....all this talk of sushi is making me hungry, looks like sushi train is on the cards for dinner tonight!
My family and I are pretty much here every Sunday! There's always a line up for one of the group tables (not bar seating) but the food and super friendly service always makes it worth it. It's always fun to see what's coming up on the train and seeing how many plates I can eat #personalchallenge. I love their Chicken and Avocado Ngiri and you must try the Sushi Cola! Other faves of mine are the Takoyaki, Aburi Salmon and Ika Tempura.
Coffee And Food Enthusiast.
+3.5
Whilst this place over the years has lost a bit of its quality, it still produces some fine sushi, if you like scallops, definitely try the volcano. Chicken Avacado Nigiri is a fan favourite, but I have to say, the Ramen for me was inedible, the broth just didn't have any love go into it at all. Years ago, there also was a fine tiramiso served here, not the one they use stinks. You'l definitely fine something you like though, so overall it's above average.
We love this shop. Compared to Kintaro which seems to be run by Chinese this chain is more authentically Japanese. Unagi or eel is our favourite, along with many other dishes.
A friend who works here brought me here claiming that this is where you get one of Adelaide's best sushi, and he wasn't wrong! While a little on the expensive side, the sushi was absolutely delicious and ordering was made easy through a touch screen at the seating booths. Staff were friendly and they greet you when you enter and when you leave.
DIVINE. This is my favourite takeaway, ever. There was a point in time that I was ordering food from here every single night for a while. It's just that good. I'd recommend trying "chicken and avocado teriyaki sushi rolls" with extra teriyaki sauce. The only speculation I have is that the food tends to be the best on Fridays & Saturdays- probably something to do with the chefs :)
My favourite sushi venue in Adelaide. Have been here countless times and will continue to be a regular. Really busy so everything is always fresh. My favourite dishes are the Aburi Wagyu, Tiger Roll and Aburi Scallop.
Similar to other restaurants from the sushi train chain but I liked that this place is a lot more spacious. Always enjoyed their sushi here as they have a wide selection of vegetarian options and the sushi tastes authentic. Good and efficient service with very friendly staff. Going there at around 12noon for lunch on a weekday does not get too busy. It is very popular otherwise on weekends.
Best Sushi Train in Adelaide. I have been to most Sushi Train's in Adelaide and this one is by far the best for service and atmosphere. Great place to catch up with friends over great food and Green Tea!
What a surprise!. Mrs T took me here with the kids and what a great place for a quick healthy meal with the kids. Not in the same league as a Wasai or Shiki but a very good compromise... Going back for sure.
Always feels like a little adventure when my daughter and I venture to this little gem! So much to choose from, great service and delicious sushi and various other delights. Favourites are the soft shell crab sushi and the Japanese pancake! Yum! For the kids the snow cones are a great treat for dessert. Highly recommend this place for a fun outing.
Great sushi and atmosphere! Only
Downside is that they don't serve alcohol but the food is so good!
Awesome!. Aburi Salmon is to die for.
LOve ya Sushi Train. My favourite Sushi bar in Adelaide
I love Sushi Train. This place is my favourite for a quick meal on the run. Love earning points, love the constant refilling of the green tea and absolutely love the sushi for eat in or take away.
Love it. Just reviewed the one in town. This is probably even better as there is more space, and therefore youre more likely to get a booth.
Food is fantastic, service is great and value is good.
cant go wrong
Sushi Train Junkie. 7.5/10.
Haven't had a problem here - the service is impeccable. Grilled Salmon, Grilled Scallops, Salmon and Avocado rolls, and Vegetarian Tempura are my staples.
I don't normally like Green Tea but theirs is really nice (and cheap!).

Good sushi. Great, fresh sushi. The sashimi is also excellent. Heaps of varieties. Good service. The pricing is good for the serves that you get. You can also order different meals off the menu.
