Can’t really say anything bad about this place. Free Udon noodles for kids (not much taste though) the food came out fast and the food tasted good! And it was fresh too.
What a one of the finest japanese restaurants i've ever been in Sydney. Quite Nice and attentive service and wait staffs take care of your dish especially hotpot and sukiyaki. quite impressed with their drinks!!
My favourite Japanese place to recommend for friends and family!
I absolutely love this place, for the many times I’ve been here.. I’ll always recommend to try the snow wagyu sukiyaki at least once!
The scampi here is great in size, value and taste!
The local fish sashimi is always on point!
The selection of drinks here are amazing!
Of course the best part is the sukiyaki for me, I love how the soy milk softens up + make the wagyu taste so much more tender than it already is!
Almost forgot to mention that the service here is always very good and they genuinely will help you if you ask what is popular, what is fresh and they will always tell you what the chef selection will be before you ask.
Keep it up and thank you for the amazing food!
I wanted to try this place as it had the same name as the one in Haymarket in the city and that branch is pretty good. We went for dinner and ordered a couple of small dishes, some sushi and the sukiyaki. Everything was delicious and the ingredients were fresh. It is more on the expensive side but expected of the Masuya brand. I would recommend this place for special occasions if you or your loved ones want Japanese food!
Good value and tasty bentos 🍱!
Attentive customer services and the food are not bad for the price! Sashimi are fresh too!
They seem to have quite an beverage (alcoholic) selection too!
High quality Japanese food!
Like the other Masuya restaurants across SYDNEY the sashimi is very very greasy!
Good Enviroment and staff that take care of you on your food journey.
BYO wine only
Good service generally, but a bit slow. I think they forgot our order. Manager gave my mum shot of umeshu cause it was her bday. We had the emperor sushi set, agedashi tofu, vege tempura. Love all of these. Also had teriyaki chicken, not very good, too salty. Overall would recommend.
We were most impressed with our dining experience at Masuya Suisan. Although the service was a little inconsistent and it was hard to get our glasses of water refilled, there were a few servers who were very friendly and courteous. The food was excellent value, authentic, fresh and very tasty. We will definitely be returning!
i've visited Masuya Suisan Wentworth point 2 times, i've always been impressed by their service and fresh Sashimi. Sashimi Deluxe was quite good value for money. Especially they well know about each part of sashimi and recommended me what part to eat first, oyster was a bit smaller than usual though. anyways quite satisfied with their food and service!!
Modern, romantic (piano music playing in the background) and classy joint that offers a variety of Japanese dishes including set meals. Prices are a bit on a slightly higher side. I would particularly like more food on my unagi teishoku. I would go back for a second chance as this time wasn't quite a 5 star experience. oh, and the menu has no dessert.
