The Smelly Cheesecake's Honey Gorgonzola Cheesecake ($7/slice) has been on my must-try list for years. Kicking off with a store in Lidcombe in 2014, it was the small chain's expansion into Marina Square Wentworth Point that finally afforded me the opportunity to do so. Fittingly, this cheesecake, made using pungent blue cheese gentled down to something quite approachable, is my favourite across a wide sample of their menu. I was intrigued by the Smelly Cheesecake Cafe’s name. Walking past the cafe interior was creative without being overly pretentious. The backend area is surrounded by storage container doors with the back wall having a rustic feel. It was surprising that the combination works so well. The cafe’s design created a rustic, relaxed setting.
just passed by their shop and their cakes are eye catching! i got the mocha cake @ $35, kinda small cake for the price. it looks so good and when i tasted it, oh my it tasted so different but nice. the icing has a bit of coffee bitter taste but it’s very addictive! cant wait to try their cheesecakes!
Great place for lunch!! Pastas were really nice. Just the right amount of flavour, and not too heavy on the salt. The creamy chicken pasta was not overly creamy which was good. The cheesecake here is to die for!! It is so creamy and melts in your mouth. Definitely worth a try.
I ran in to the Smelly Cheesecake the other night to see if they had any tiramisu cakes for my friend's birthday. There were none in the window but the lovely team said if I give them 5 minutes they can hand finish a 7" cake. Reasonable price especially at short notice, and boy was it so yummy and light. My friends were really impressed. I'm not a sweet tooth but even I liked it!
The coffee shop is located inside the shopping mall, up from the elevator in the parking lot, just near the elevator. Free three-hour parking at the mall.The coffee shop very clean, good environment, relatively weak business. The young lady in the shop doesn't seem to be trained to deliver coffee. The coffee was served three times, and the last cup was for the lady, placed directly on the edge of the table.
Ate the French toast. Great variety of fresh ingredients along with ice cream. Caramel, fruit and pistachios go so well together with the toast. Full marks for the taste and presentation. Decent service and clean place.
