This is our second time here for brunch and we again love the food. We feel like coming every week to satisfy our soul with their awesome foods. We generally try different items from the menu and today we have tried the chatter box breakie and frenchy, omg we have liked both. Especially the frenchy is delicious and mouthwatering! Not to mention the members of this cafe are so friendly you feel like home. Worth trying for brunch. #chatter box cafe

Probably the best cafe food, we had. Staff was friendly and polite. Meal portions were great, enough to fill our tummies and the coffee was just amazing. Thanks for the great breakfast.

Been here 3 times now. First time i had breakfast and had the smashed avocado breaky and it was all pretty damn good and poached eggs were cooked perfectly. Second time i shared a beef burger and a pulled pork burger and they were pretty good too! Bread may have been a lil thick. 3rd time i had the breakfast of fried eggs on some sort of potatoe rosti and cheese. This was nice but very rich for breakfast. They changed their menu here all the time apparently. I guess it can be a good thing? Fyi... i tried some of the open philly cheese steak and the steak was juicy and cooked well.
Get over the name and outside appearance and you will find the best cafe in Werribee

Brilliant coffee and very friendly staff. Great range of delicious focaccia’s for the ‘eating on the go’ people like myself. It is definitely my ‘go to’ cafe/restaurant in the area.
I've never had a negative experience at Chatterbox. One of my absolute favourite cafes in the west with the friendliest staff and some very delicious food. The granola with lemon sorbet was amazing and refreshing, and the coffee is fantastic too! Love you Chatterbox. Never change!
This is a surpisingly good place in werribee, though I'm basically judging it on one dish. I've been three times and tell myself I will order something else, but I keep going back to the vegetarian brunch dish. My wife had a mushroom brunch dish that was on special, which was also very good.
I have been here twice. Service is great, super friendly staff. Food have been fresh, tasty and portions are very feeling. Definitely coming back.
Never judge the book by it's cover. Passed this cafe couple of times, but it never lured me in. Humble looking cafe around the corner at Werribee town centre, with just couple of table outside, and the cafe looks small from the outside. But when I came inside, man I was amazed. This cafe actually pretty big. Many small tables along the hall and spacious at the back. Greeted by friendly and cheerful staffs, this place really lift up my mood. Latte were good, toasted egg and bacon sandwice were nice, and yummy & very cheesy croque madame. Can't complain! The price also very reasonable. The only negative thing is, it was quite noisy, to have a chat with my hubby I actually kinda 'yell' to him and he just sit in front of me 😁. Probably because I came on Sat morning. But definitely will coming back for more! 👍
Great looking cafe with plenty on the menu to choose from. I had a latte and scrambled egg on toast with bacon & hash brown on the side. While I enjoyed it there's just a couple of negatives.. sides are a bit expensive and hash brown could've been better (I liked the home made ones they did a couple years back)
today had my favorite Prawn and Avocado Salad (no rocket). But we added a first course today* Dumpling Soup*, what can I say except Delicious. Thank you also for the always friendly service. Food is always fresh and well presented.

Chatterbox cafe effortlessly captures that sentiment of warmth and friendliness that the city of Melbourne gets you high on.
We were a small group of five, on the tail end of a weekend getaway that marked the end of good weather here in Victoria.
5 coffees (Cappuccinos, Mocha, Caramel Latte, and a Chai Latte), a serve of chocolate mud cake, and two serves of cheesy garlic fries was what we ordered.
Everyone simply lurrrrved their respective beverages.
Cheesy garlic fries were hot, crisp, salty, garlicky and all kinds of comfortable - like Mom's hug.
The mud cake was originally served from the cold case. But the girls took it back and warmed it up for me with not even an iota of exasperation - AND they brought it back with a side serve of ice cream. Let's just say that my heart melted away with the chocolate icing.
This was my first visit to the place - and that's the only reason I'm holding my rating back by half a point. I'm saving my 5-star rating for my next visit.

Food was great, huge portions! Service was very friendly and prompt. The cafe and outdoors have a nice cosy feel. Would definitely recommend for breakfast or casual lunch.
Food and coffee was great. Fast and friendly service. Will definitely be going back. Had the Big Brekkie and boy... it definitely is big, well worth the $20 pice.

Compelled to go there for a hot chocolate with some work associates to discuss some deep matters, I had a look at the menu and new I had to come back and try a few things.
There in front of me it was reading:
* Chilli Cheese Parma
* Chilli Cheese Fries
* Poutine
Upon going back I asked for a Chilli Cheese Parma and some chilli cheese fries to be promptly informed by the server: "You won't eat all that....the parma is big." Myself and my co worker looked at each ever and said, ok...take your word.
Glad I did, the thick sized chicken parma coated with chilli con carne and cheese was a great tasting and fulling delight. I struggled to eat it all, but was determined to get through.
The Parma and burgers come with a plentiful side of chips.
I tried the Nachos last week and must admit I was rather disappointed, but definitely will go back for the parma con chilli cheese.

As soon as I walked into this warm and inviting cafe I could see why it is so popular with the locals. The staff are efficient and friendly. This morning I ordered a bacon and egg toasted sandwich and a skinny cappuccino. The cappuccino was served at a drinkable temperature and the bacon and egg sandwich was cooked to perfection. This has now become my favourite cafe in Werribee, I'll definitely be going back regularly.
We almost walked past this place! It looked small on the outside but it was quite large and bustling with life on the inside. My friend and I ordered the soup of the day each - the tomato and bacon soup for $9, as well as the poutine fries to share. I had a sore throat but the soup was really hearty and my throat felt a lot better afterwards, though it was a little bit too salty for my liking.
The poutine fries were nice and thin. The gravy's flavour didn't pack too much of a punch and the cheese took around five minutes to fully melt over the dish which made the fries a bit soggy after it sat for a while but it was still nice to snack on.
Overall, I would definitely come by if I'm ever in the area again.
My husband and I were looking for a quick and easy breakfast on our road trip and boy did we find it. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with smiling friendly staff and a great vibe. Our coffees were out almost before we sat down, and our breakfast wasn't too far behind. From the veggie breaky with fresh avocado and delicious marinated Fetta to the big breaky that featured the baked beans.. We couldn't fault a thing. A lovely way to start our adventure.
Friendly and attentive staff, great food. Love their semi sundry tomato in our dishes (big meaty and steak sandwich) . I recommend this place!
Really great little place to have brunch! Very generous portions, and reasonably priced.
My only negative was that I had the 'Egg & Meat' (which was wonderful and a hearty serve), I was the last one to finish my meal, my four friends had their plates cleared while I was still eating, and once I was done my plate sat until just before we were ready to leave (about 30 mins) without being cleared.
Dined here mid morning after hiking up the youyangs! Great cafe in Werribee! Staff attentive food portions very generous for the price! Had the veggie breakfast and my friend had the open omelette! With sides of hollandaise and bacon! Great coffee on a dreary day like today! Food was yum will definitely be back after a dbl hiking effort to work off the food!
Nice spot always busy with quick and friendly service. big variety on the menu and kid friendly. Coffee is average apart from that one of the best places for breakfast or lunch in Werribee
This is a wonderful place to catch up with buddies.. take the kids for a shake or just run in for a quick coffee... consistency is key and that what chatterbox deliver.. one of my favourite drop ins.. catch up with the boys and always feel welcome.. kids are treated awesome and always spoilt ;)

Absolutely fabulous in all aspects ; staff are brilliant and extremely accommodating. Meals too are incredibly tasteful and very well thought out. The coffee too is amazing, iced drinks, shakes are all amazing. Cannot fault thr chatterbox cafe. Keep up the good work friends :) :)

Saturday late brekky. I had smashed advacado with feta on multigrain with a poached egg.....simple and so yummy. Hubby had the big brekky.....very happy with his meal. Service was great. Been in Hoppers for 14 years don't know why we haven't been here sooner. We'll be back
Got a milkshake with my dad, four bucks, made in under a minute and not too gooey!!! Thanks chatterbox !! There was no mucking around in making the shake and was a good start to my day

With all the hype and buzz we hear about chatterbox, hubby and I decided to try it out!
Came in late this afternoon for lunch, walked in to see smiley faces from all staff! Service was prompt. Coffee had an outstanding 10 out of 10 taste!
My partner had the lamb shish and I chose the chicken salad!
Both meals wowed our taste buds, will defiantly be back!

Best coffee In the Melbourne. I found this place by chance when I was looking at property. The cool atmosphere, great service and amazing food helped take the stress off for the day.
I didn't buy in werribee but I still go every week just for the beef goulash!
This place has great food and coffee. Serving sizes are ginormous and you won't leave $50 lighter and still hungry. Only place worth going to in Werribee. If there is one thing I'd criticise, it's the lack of a system to deal with people ordering take away coffees or trying to pay. They loiter around the coffee machine and it's not so much fun looking up from your meal only to see five butts wedged up against your nose. Other than that this place is really great.

Been drinking coffee at chatterbox for years and have always found the manager and staff great. I happen to witness the above fall. The statement is highly exaggerated. If u think calling the waitress a dumb b---- is appropriate behaviour from a customer well so be it. I happened to be sitting 3 feet from the incident and didn't hear the above person hit the floor. I did however hear her abuse the staff. Did she slip????? There were 2 signs clearly displayed warning of the wet floor. And I clearly witnessed the so called injured customer kick the sign 4 feet as she left the shop. Real injured!

The service here is great, they are quick to serve you and you never forgotten about. Have been for brekky twice and both times were yummo! Meals are tasty and use quality ingredients.
Great brekkie spot. This is a great brekkie/brunch find in the Western Suburbs. There is a great variety of breakfast dishes with the option to add extras to your meal. I ordered poached eggs on sourdough toast, with sautéed spinach and mushrooms, avocado and whipped feta. I had never tried nor heard of 'whipped' feta before so I was eager to find out what this would taste like- it was absolutely delicious! Coffee was also great and not too strong. Everything was fresh and just the right portion. Will definitely be coming back here again.

Good cafe for weekend brunch. My daughter and I went to Chatter Box cafe for brunch on a busy Sunday morning. The food was good and service was great. I will be going again.

As a regular at chatterbox cafe i enjoy the atmosphere,the friendly staff and the regulars that go to chatterbox, the food is very delicious and the coffee is the best in town, I had the omelette today and was not weird at all but very yummy. Chatterbox is a great place as I have met some very nice people (staff and regulars) with whom I now call my friends.
I'm a regular to this cafe and all I have to say is the food is lovely the coffee is the best in town, there baristas are very talented.... Staff are friendly and it has a great vibe when it's busy... I give it a 7.5/10 :)

Popped in For a quick lunch, very nice decor and we were seated quickly. Ordered the brisket burger and the Greek fries, both came out very quickly and were very tasty. Coffees were nice and staff friendly. We were in a bit late for lunch and understandably they needed to start packing up just before we left however either a heads up they were starting cleaning or just waiting 5 Min longer would have been better than stacking chairs on the tables around us, just made us feel like we were being rushed out, the sign did say they were open for another hour though. (unless I read that wrong) . All in all a great little Cafe though and we will pop back in for food again.... A bit earlier though :)

GREAT FOOD! I could give them 6 stars if extra star is available! Had steak & egg and also ham& egg with ciabatta. Steak was well cooked, juicy and was good combination with other ingredients; cheese, basil herb and sauce! It was so great. It was quickly served, cooked professional with even reasonable price. This brunch cafe, I could say, one of my best cafe so far in Australia in terms of food taste
Lovely place for brunch. Fast, friendly service. I had delicious smoked beans along with two perfectly poached eggs, spicy chorizo and fluffy corn bread. All that was missing was Tabasco sauce.

Vegetarian friendly breakfast menu! I had their omelette with broccolini and cabbage which was yummy, it was made of four eggs which is a bit much but I think if you just had a gym sesh that would be perfect. Coffee was great. They offer high chair and we ordered toast for our little one which is more than enough. Fast service and reasonable price.
