Friendly staff. Great food. Good portion sizes and reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere. Would definitely go back again.
Love their food! My family go here almost every Sunday afternoon and we usually order the pumpkin salad that they have on offer.
Being a vegetarian I find it difficult ordering dishes that i really enjoy and that I at the end of the day find filling. At the Wyndham Cache cafe they have an assortment of options that really tick all those boxes.
Love the atmosphere and the overall openness of the cafe.
Will definitely be coming back
Very large menu. Avo smash is really nice good quality bread used. Coffee was nice. Lunch was also nice good prices very large plate size staf were very helpfull and friendy i like coming here as its spacious with a view of greenery and good food
Staying in the area for the weekend and my mother and I found this gem of a cafe to have breakfast at. Gorgeous cafe vibes, clean interior, pleasant staff and delicious food. Was very busy but the service was extremely quick and attentive for both drinks and menu items.
Loved the additional deli next door with lots of great items to enjoy at home, and/or gift to friends and family.
Thank you!
Spacious, new looking, clean with good service, I was told that weekend bookings is essential. The lamb burger was delicious tender with the right amount of slightly pink meat in the center of the burger. The Rubén sandwich was nice a little spicy, it was however missing the pickle which I believe is an essential ingredient. (they said it was the first day it was on their specials menu) The fish looked lovely and stemming and flaky, Ample beer battered steak fries. Cling wrap style poached eggs. There are great views through the large windows and ample parking. Please note it is in an agricultural area on a working farm so can be quite aromatic outside , which is not noticeable inside.
Enough room between tables. Great service, friendly and prompt. Food and coffee are delicious. Portions are large, great value for money. Definitely a favourite.
Tasty food with great value. The price was reasonable and the portion was big. We enjoyed our visit very much. The hashbrown and the humongous ice chocolate were the highlight.
It was Mother's Day a couple of weeks ago and in traditional Dad-Venture family tradition it was off to Werribee Cache Cafe for breakfast!
Cache Cafe is situated on a large block of farming, ergonomic type land that is typical to the Werribee South area. The smell of rich soil and occasional manure overcomes the senses at times, and I dearly wished I came here with a peg on my nose. However...
There's no doubt that the food is delicious. I ordered the pulled pork Benedict burger, which is literally everything great in this world,
on a plate. The pulled pork was delicious, slow cooked and worked well with the hollandaise sauce. The eggs were well cooked, fluffy and everything was just well balanced. It was tasty, the bun was soft and well worth the price tag.
I literally could not get enough of this burger and as you can see it was just so aesthetically pleasing to even look at. The ingredients boast such powerful flavour on their own that I thought one element of the dish would surely overpower the others. But, I digress, this burger was a slice of breakfast heaven.
I'll definitely be back to visit Cache cafe again. I won't lie, I'll probably order the same thing again, however I will choose to sit inside next time.
Also, Cache Cafe boasts a pretty cool deli with local produce including vegetables, game meats, honey and all of those fun things that actually would require me to cook (which just isn't on).
My verdict: WORTH IT for breakfast mains under $19.50.
A friend brought me here as we visited the zoo nearby. Very friendly place and majority of the customers are locals. I ordered chicken mushroom pot pie with garden salad. Very hearty dish that cooked well. Enjoyed the matcha latte too.
The cafe is large and stylishly appointed, with floor to ceiling windows to take in the views, plenty of outdoor seating and an enclosed grassed area overlooking the local farmland. It's a hidden oasis, and located just off the Princes Freeway it is the perfect morning jaunt from Geelong or the City, or to round out a day trip to Werribee Mansion, the Rose Gardens or Open Range Zoo.
The French Toast nailed that fine line between light fluffy bread and squidgy deliciousness - it was beautiful. The granola crunch added great texture and the berry compote delivered some sharp flavour to balance what would otherwise be a very sweet dish. It is a very generous portion though and, believe it or not, I struggled to finish it.

Great place to have coffee time! Tried the fried sweet potato with bacon for snack, and it was good. The cakes' price a bit dearer, but it's worth a try.
I came here for lunch after a cancelled round of golf at the local Werribee Park Golf Club. This place has great ambience. I found the food fresh and quite nice. I loved more their coffee. Tucked within the Werribee Park area, this is a very nice place to go out for a drive and eat nice food.
Great place, very close to Mansion. This was a great find on the back of an (average) night at the Mansion. We were quick to be greeted, seated and served our drinks. The meals were a bit slower but this wasn't a problem - we were warned before we sat this could happen with a party going on. The estimate was way more than reality, our meals were back in about average (15m) time. Great meals, our dislike of grilled vegetables on the platter was generously filled with alternatives. My partner most enjoyed the croquettes, and the coffee. I enjoyed the meats on the platter most, and the service. Would definitely recommend this place and if we happen to come back to the area we will be back.
They have a great looking breakfast menu too, wish we'd known about this earlier as we'd stayed at the Mansion and they only offered a $36 per head breakfast which we considered ridiculous!
Always good. After trawling the main street of Werribee for an hour yesterday and not having any luck finding a place for brunch, we took a short drive to Wyndham Cache. Why we didn't think to do this in the first place instead of wasting our time and getting grumpier and hungrier by the minute, I still don't know.
When we drove up, we saw it looked quite busy and we weren't too hopeful about getting a table for two. Yet we walked in and the attendant seated us straight away, advising us that the table was reserved for 1:00pm. No dramas, it was only 11:00am, so we sat and were immediately attended to by a lovely girl who took our drink orders which were served to us shortly afterwards. Our meal orders were also taken and served to us very quickly. My Eggs Florentine was divine, the sauce not too sickly creamy, and my mum's bacon, eggs and toast were also swiftly eaten. We were able to order a second coffee after our meals, and were finished before the table was needed, and not once were we made to feel rushed.
Service was quick and friendly, food was great, and we just had to complement the manager on the way out - he was quite chuffed!
Although this isn't the first time I've been to Wyndham Cache, this recent experience reminded me why I'll continue to go back.
Had a great breakfast at the cafe today! Peter was lovely and very friendly. The tall chef on the pass was lovely and greeted us on the way past. Will definately be back
Mains. & dessert lovely! seemingly good atmosphere but wait staff a little slow & not asking table if more drinks required.
LIVE MUSIC NIGHT. Last night we went along to the Cache's first live music night. We had a really great time! The music from TYO was really good and best of all not too loud, so we could still manage a converation at our table.
Really good value too, $30 per person which included finger food - and let me tell you it wasn't party pies and sausage rolls - it was amazing, creative food - and so much of it!
Looking forward to the next one!
Great food and friendly team. I had breakfast with my partner here on a Sunday, we did not book and were given a table within a few minutes. The attended Peter walked us to our table and menus appeared on the table within seconds. The waitress kept and eye on us whilst she was handing other customers their food and came over as soon as we were ready to order. The food came out in a reasonable timeframe as the place was near capacity. Meal was great and well worth the money. Only thing I could suggest is make the pancakes less fluffy and/or smaller. Had them twice now and can never finish them.
This is the second time I have been and both times have been enjoyable. I highly recommend this cafe and will defiantly be returning...
The ambience was was cosy and lovely, service was friendly. We went there for breakfast and were quite pleased with the large choice of breakfast items on the menu. The food was quick to come out and the portions were gigantic! Amazing quality and delicious. Fantastic value for money and we will definitely be back!
Would recommend. Been here just the once, so far, for a sunday lunch booking with 20 people. The restaurant was quite busy, service was very friendly however quite slow and we did have to get the staffs attention for more drinks.
The food was fantastic! Everyone on the table was very happy! I had the Salmon Caesar Salad, very well presented and excellent value for money. Great drinks selection, including wines from the local Shadowfax Winery.
Added benefit of being able to split bills which was very handy for our large group.
I want to return for the breakfast menu which sounds delicious!
Has Potential - Great Food. Went for dinner on a Friday night with 4 other people. The staff were very attentive getting us settled but after the mains were taken away they focused on resetting tables for breakfast. After waiting 15 minutes and no offer of coffee or desserts we left. This really needs to be improved as I have read the desserts are wonderful.
Must mention the food because it was delicious. The lamb rack, spare ribs and chicken pasta were yummy. The pumpkin mains dish was a great idea but there was too much pumpkin. The snapper was nice but a little too firm, almost rubbery.
I would definitely visit again. Hopefully to try the desserts next time!
A Welcome Surprise. My wife and I have been meaning to try this Restraunt / Cafe for months, after having a coffee there one afternoon. We decided to go on Friday night, this is the only nights they are open. We were pleasantly surprised. The meals were excellent and the prices reasonable. The attention to detail and service was brilliant. The only minor point was the meal was a little rushed between courses, but this was not of a major concern. Leave room for the deserts, they are unbelievable.
Surprising. It is out a bit and not really where you would expect a restaurant. When we got there it was very busy and seams to be very popular. Food was good, value was average, service was very good.
I would recommend it.
Informal family lunch. We visited the Cache Cafe today for a quiet lunch, all food was very well cooked and tastefully presented at a reasonable price..
Waitress's could not have been more helpful. Would/Will go again.. No complaints at all....
Yummy Breakfast. One of the best breakfast in town. I'm a fan of Big breakfast, and that is what I order all the time if it's on the menu. This one is one of the best ones I've had.. And i usually don't eat the bacon, I did on this one... all are cooked perfectly. The only comment negative comment I have is the bread. it looked like a regular slice of bread from the grocery.. BUT it;s not, I'm just fussy that way, coz it ruined the presentation...
The staff are excellent too... :) I'm going back here more often.. :)
Love It. Just what Werribee needs. Fantastic, unpretentious food, well priced and kid friendly. Great staff. Highly recommended casual dining venue.
Its ok, too much egg on breakfast for non egg eaters, but lunch menu very good.
I love Wyndham Cache. Its the best place in Werribee. Friendly staff, meals are simple, but nice. Breakfast is my favourite.
We have been many times, and each time its been excellent service. Going again today for lunch with visitors from out of town. Hope they enjoy what the fabulous west has to offer.
Highly recommend it.
Just what we need!. What a wonderful breath of fresh air to Wyndham! Brilliantly thought out with light airy spaces, great staff, wholesome tasty food and reasonable prices. You have thought of everything. I've been 4 times in the past few weeks and am LOVING it. It's just the kind of place we need to keep putting the western suburbs on the map. I love the mix of clientele and the history associated with the owners. LOVE LOCAL.
Would definnanty recommend this place the food was fantastic very well presented. Overall very clean, staff were great very friendly. The scenery was beautiful very peaceful. Deffinantly puts Werribee south on the map
Absolutely love this new cafe, the staff are so friendly, polite with fantastic customer service. The food was amazing, the Wong tong salad was very well presented and tasted delicious. My friends beef fajitas where also to die for. Recommend this great cafe to all ages and make sure you check out the deli next door :) They also make a very nice mocha!! Great job guys!!!!
Love it!. I love this beautiful new cafe! The staff are so friendly & customer oriented even bringing a bottle of chilled water we didn't ask for ( but was very welcomed) when we sat chatting for hours. The food is great & served without delay & the scones are to die for! Large windows in a modern new building overlooking the beautiful farming area round off the most pleasurable dining experience.
Nice relax dining with friendly staff and great food. Caesar salad with chicken and poached egg was very filling.
Sugar Pie Honey Bunch (Roast Chicken & vegetables pie) my friend said that was very nice.
Quite accomodating when we had to change time of our brunch booking. Large area, lovely large windows looking out to property. The menu was extensive, with different but interesting names for the dishes but poorly designed layout. Fast service and was delicious. The omelette was huge!
Wyndham Cache is my parents, who are 96 and 98, favourite restaurant. This is no surprise as Dave and his awesome team go out of their way to spoil them and make them feel special. Dave has even organised to keep the last serve of the pork spare ribs aside for Dad who ALWAYS orders it. All the meals are beautifully presented and are very generous serves. Somehow Mum and Dad often have room for desert as the selection of cakes is too tempting to resist. The deli which is part of the complex is excellent and has many interesting imported goods as well as an excellent selection of frozen goods. The eggs come straight from the egg farm next door and cannot be surpassed. We love the jumbo white eggs most of which have double yolks.
I highly recommend Werribee Cache.
Had a friends farewell lunch here, it was a large group of us. The food and service we received was excellent. Definitely a good place to go for yummy food, and the shop next door has a delicious variety of foods and treats. Will definitely go back!
Had a great lunch at Wyndham Cache today. Super fresh salad and poached egg. The restaurant was busy but the staff were efficient so there was no delays. It was very clean and tidy.
Busy and popular, plenty of staff, lots of choice on the menu. I had the gnocchi with prawns & mushrooms in a creamy sauce. While not the lightest gnocchi it was certainly tasty and palatable. Everyone else enjoyed their meal too.
Beautiful Fish & Chips and Eggs Florentine. Great service.
