Review Wyndham Cache Cafe - Werribee

Nice relax dining with friendly staff and great food. Caesar salad with chicken and poached egg was very filling. Sugar Pie Honey Bunch (Roast Chicken & vegetables pie) my friend said that was very nice.

Quite accomodating when we had to change time of our brunch booking. Large area, lovely large windows looking out to property. The menu was extensive, with different but interesting names for the dishes but poorly designed layout. Fast service and was delicious. The omelette was huge!

Wyndham Cache is my parents, who are 96 and 98, favourite restaurant. This is no surprise as Dave and his awesome team go out of their way to spoil them and make them feel special. Dave has even organised to keep the last serve of the pork spare ribs aside for Dad who ALWAYS orders it. All the meals are beautifully presented and are very generous serves. Somehow Mum and Dad often have room for desert as the selection of cakes is too tempting to resist. The deli which is part of the complex is excellent and has many interesting imported goods as well as an excellent selection of frozen goods. The eggs come straight from the egg farm next door and cannot be surpassed. We love the jumbo white eggs most of which have double yolks. I highly recommend Werribee Cache.

Had a friends farewell lunch here, it was a large group of us. The food and service we received was excellent. Definitely a good place to go for yummy food, and the shop next door has a delicious variety of foods and treats. Will definitely go back!

Had a great lunch at Wyndham Cache today. Super fresh salad and poached egg. The restaurant was busy but the staff were efficient so there was no delays. It was very clean and tidy.

Busy and popular, plenty of staff, lots of choice on the menu. I had the gnocchi with prawns & mushrooms in a creamy sauce. While not the lightest gnocchi it was certainly tasty and palatable. Everyone else enjoyed their meal too.

My wife and I had a brief mid morning stop at Wyndham Cafe & Gourmet Deli. We ordered 2 small cakes, 1 medium coffee and 1 pot of green tea. Total cost $36.78 Exorbitantly overpriced for such an average venue. When my wife questioned the bill she was met with a unwarranted and rude reply from a male staff member. Definitely would not recommend a meal in this cafe.

Beautiful Fish & Chips and Eggs Florentine. Great service.

This place is disgusting the food is disgusting rude service not friendly will never return my dog won’t eat the food how can you service it to People learn to cook and your presentation sucks

Friendly staff. Great food. Good portion sizes and reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere. Would definitely go back again.

Love their food! My family go here almost every Sunday afternoon and we usually order the pumpkin salad that they have on offer.

Being a vegetarian I find it difficult ordering dishes that i really enjoy and that I at the end of the day find filling. At the Wyndham Cache cafe they have an assortment of options that really tick all those boxes.

Love the atmosphere and the overall openness of the cafe.

Will definitely be coming back

Staying in the area for the weekend and my mother and I found this gem of a cafe to have breakfast at. Gorgeous cafe vibes, clean interior, pleasant staff and delicious food. Was very busy but the service was extremely quick and attentive for both drinks and menu items.
Loved the additional deli next door with lots of great items to enjoy at home, and/or gift to friends and family.
Thank you!

Not a fan of this restaurant as the service is not good, each time when we go there is because we want to buy eggs from the shop next to the restaurant.

Came for lunch on a Saturday, it was quite busy but we managed to get a table. Orders took sometime to be taken after we collected our own menus. Lunch took over an hour to be served & we would of appreciated a heads up about the delay, had we known we would of just had a coffee & cake. The food was nice, but we didn’t find it particularly ‘special’.

A lovely large cafe and deli near Werribee Park. This place is extremely busy on weekends so be sure to book. There is an outdoor area for kids to run around. We felt they were short staffed as service was very friendly however very slow to serve meals. We waited over an hour for our meals to come. We tried a variety of dishes including the barramundi fish of the day, salt and pepper calamari, chicken Parma, grilled halloumi and reuben cache. The calamari and chips and barramundi were tasty, however the rest we thought was quite average. This place has potential but their dishes need more flavour.

Slow service with 2 requests for water to start.... but 3 great tapas to share (3 for $29) ... combined with a bottle of sparkly made for a lovely ladies lunch! Pumpkin flowers were a great tapas dish! Lovely ambience outside in the sun!

Creamy mushroom pasta was delicious well mixed with herbs and garlic.
Service was super fast and friendly.
Beautiful view of the vineyard from the patio.
Located nearby Werribee zoo and gardens.

Spacious, new looking, clean with good service, I was told that weekend bookings is essential. The lamb burger was delicious tender with the right amount of slightly pink meat in the center of the burger. The Rubén sandwich was nice a little spicy, it was however missing the pickle which I believe is an essential ingredient. (they said it was the first day it was on their specials menu) The fish looked lovely and stemming and flaky, Ample beer battered steak fries. Cling wrap style poached eggs. There are great views through the large windows and ample parking. Please note it is in an agricultural area on a working farm so can be quite aromatic outside , which is not noticeable inside.

This place is pretty average so not sure why it was so busy, probably because it’s the only close cafe to the werribee zoo. I waited over 30 minutes for two meals & my chicken wrap had a small piece of bone in it. I informed the waitress and she was very apologetic & offered me a complimentary hot beverage in a 35 degree day. No thanks! They could have replaced my meal seeing as I didn’t eat the rest of it so I was disappointed by their meal and service. I wouldn’t be returning.

Enough room between tables. Great service, friendly and prompt. Food and coffee are delicious. Portions are large, great value for money. Definitely a favourite.
Don Djoe
Tasty food with great value. The price was reasonable and the portion was big. We enjoyed our visit very much. The hashbrown and the humongous ice chocolate were the highlight.

Restaurant is clean open and modern. Have been a few times for lunch and overall food is just ok, nothing yet to rave about. Although for coffee and cake it's great. They have Marks cakes so that helps.
Isn't disappointing when you order a milkshake, it's made in a tin and yet only half the shake is served in a glass. So we asked if it was served in a milkshake tin or just a glass? It was queried and we were told it could be served in tin. Guess what they just presented the glass of milk in a tin (as requested 😏). They said it's a "portioned size shake". Tin was less than 1/2 full. (Look at photo). Hubby was not impressed, too expensive for this.
Dad-Ventures
It was Mother's Day a couple of weeks ago and in traditional Dad-Venture family tradition it was off to Werribee Cache Cafe for breakfast!

Cache Cafe is situated on a large block of farming, ergonomic type land that is typical to the Werribee South area. The smell of rich soil and occasional manure overcomes the senses at times, and I dearly wished I came here with a peg on my nose. However...

There's no doubt that the food is delicious. I ordered the pulled pork Benedict burger, which is literally everything great in this world,
on a plate. The pulled pork was delicious, slow cooked and worked well with the hollandaise sauce. The eggs were well cooked, fluffy and everything was just well balanced. It was tasty, the bun was soft and well worth the price tag.

I literally could not get enough of this burger and as you can see it was just so aesthetically pleasing to even look at. The ingredients boast such powerful flavour on their own that I thought one element of the dish would surely overpower the others. But, I digress, this burger was a slice of breakfast heaven.

I'll definitely be back to visit Cache cafe again. I won't lie, I'll probably order the same thing again, however I will choose to sit inside next time.

Also, Cache Cafe boasts a pretty cool deli with local produce including vegetables, game meats, honey and all of those fun things that actually would require me to cook (which just isn't on).

My verdict: WORTH IT for breakfast mains under $19.50.
A Black Sheep
A friend brought me here as we visited the zoo nearby. Very friendly place and majority of the customers are locals. I ordered chicken mushroom pot pie with garden salad. Very hearty dish that cooked well. Enjoyed the matcha latte too.
Eat West
The cafe is large and stylishly appointed, with floor to ceiling windows to take in the views, plenty of outdoor seating and an enclosed grassed area overlooking the local farmland. It's a hidden oasis, and located just off the Princes Freeway it is the perfect morning jaunt from Geelong or the City, or to round out a day trip to Werribee Mansion, the Rose Gardens or Open Range Zoo.

The French Toast nailed that fine line between light fluffy bread and squidgy deliciousness - it was beautiful. The granola crunch added great texture and the berry compote delivered some sharp flavour to balance what would otherwise be a very sweet dish. It is a very generous portion though and, believe it or not, I struggled to finish it.

READ THE FULL REVIEW HERE:

Great place to have coffee time! Tried the fried sweet potato with bacon for snack, and it was good. The cakes' price a bit dearer, but it's worth a try.

I came here for lunch after a cancelled round of golf at the local Werribee Park Golf Club. This place has great ambience. I found the food fresh and quite nice. I loved more their coffee. Tucked within the Werribee Park area, this is a very nice place to go out for a drive and eat nice food.

Had lunch here and was very disappointed. The open lamb souvlaki was sent back as it tasted horrible. The meat was an unappetising grey colour. The "hand rolled gnocchi" was very bland. So I don't think we'll be back :(
David
We USED to love Wyndham Cache and rated it highly but since they changed chefs, it has all gone downhill. The food isn't what it use to be and all the great variety and uniqueness that made The Cache great has disappeared. We sadly won't be back.

Breaky time... What a find! Amazing food, service and location :)

-----04 Jun, 2015-----

A R & F. Amazing

Second time we have had breakfast there. Both times were busy so service was a little slow but expected for the amount of staff ratio to people. Food was good, poached eggs were cooked perfect and nice to have fresh eggs from egg farm next door. One thing that stood out from both times we went was the manager "Peter" was rude and unprofessional. For example no hello when we get there, doesn't smile. We made a booking for 11.30am, arrived 11.25 and when he allocated a table asked if we could leave by 1 !!! WTF...
Not that we would have been there for 90 mins having breakfast. Even when we left at 12.15 we walked past him and didn't say thanks and enjoy your day.
He is definitely in the wrong business.
Will go again and hope it's just coincidence and if he is rude next time I will tell him what I think of his attitude and tell him to pull his head in.
Great place, very close to Mansion. This was a great find on the back of an (average) night at the Mansion. We were quick to be greeted, seated and served our drinks. The meals were a bit slower but this wasn't a problem - we were warned before we sat this could happen with a party going on. The estimate was way more than reality, our meals were back in about average (15m) time. Great meals, our dislike of grilled vegetables on the platter was generously filled with alternatives. My partner most enjoyed the croquettes, and the coffee. I enjoyed the meats on the platter most, and the service. Would definitely recommend this place and if we happen to come back to the area we will be back.

They have a great looking breakfast menu too, wish we'd known about this earlier as we'd stayed at the Mansion and they only offered a $36 per head breakfast which we considered ridiculous!

Beautiful Location. My boyfriend and I have been coming here quite regularly for the past six months and each time it seems to get better, the food is always delivered in a timely fashion and the service staff are always polite, attentive and happy. The only recommendation would be to have actual candles, or not bother at all with the fake ones-they offer nothing to the already beautiful location and instead sometimes look a bit tacky. However, the food is always lovely and the service is great, a must-try is the manuka honey, mushroom and sea salt bruschetta.

Highly recommended. Affordable, lovely ambience, excellent service, delicious + big serving of food, a deli shop, what more can you ask for.....

Rude staff. The staff are very arrogant at this cafe. Despite the fact the meals were again enjoyable on our second visit won't be coming back. My toddler and I had to wait fifteen minutes in a queue to pay our bill as the young female attendant didn't know how to assist two ladies who wanted to split their bill with credit cards. I was ignored by other staff as i asked if I could pay my bill. When I finally did so the girl did not apologise for the wait and didn't even give me a receipt, I had to ask. A fellow whom I believe is the manager ignored my child and I whilst we were in line , my son who I two was very cranky. Then this fellow did not even offer to hold the door open for us whilst I was managing.-pushing my son in the stroller. Gentleman? The grocery store staff next door look miserable, annoyed to serve you and appear to not want to be there. Very pricey deli as well. Werribee not toorak village....

Fabulous and Fresh. As a regular customer of Wyndham Cache, I cannot speak more highly of the wonderful staff, excellent service and fabulous food. Atmosphere is always extremely friendly and upbeat and the setting is very relaxed set amongst the market gardens and opposite the tree lined Werribee Park. Food is always beautifully cooked with the freshest ingredients and, most important of all, always served with a smile. It really does live up to it's name which means "hidden gem" and the staff are a real treasure. Highly recommended.

Such a shame!. This is such a beautiful location, it is just a shame that the experience is horrible when coming here!

We decided to take our family from interstate for lunch here after a morning at the zoo. We waited an exceptionally long time for our food. Only to then see the chef yelling at the staff member in front of everyone. It was so uncomfortable! It was clear our meals were taken to the wrong table. Then we saw our meals sit on the counter for over 10 minutes. I nearly got up and got it myself. By the time the food came out it was cold, we were that Hungry by that time we couldn't deal with sending it back.

We were offered free coffees for the inconvience by the girl who got yelled at ( she was nearly in tears) but the whole experience had really put a downer on the whole day and was embarassing to take our family here on their holiday.

I really hope the service improves because it's such a great location. What a waste!

Always good. After trawling the main street of Werribee for an hour yesterday and not having any luck finding a place for brunch, we took a short drive to Wyndham Cache. Why we didn't think to do this in the first place instead of wasting our time and getting grumpier and hungrier by the minute, I still don't know.
When we drove up, we saw it looked quite busy and we weren't too hopeful about getting a table for two. Yet we walked in and the attendant seated us straight away, advising us that the table was reserved for 1:00pm. No dramas, it was only 11:00am, so we sat and were immediately attended to by a lovely girl who took our drink orders which were served to us shortly afterwards. Our meal orders were also taken and served to us very quickly. My Eggs Florentine was divine, the sauce not too sickly creamy, and my mum's bacon, eggs and toast were also swiftly eaten. We were able to order a second coffee after our meals, and were finished before the table was needed, and not once were we made to feel rushed.
Service was quick and friendly, food was great, and we just had to complement the manager on the way out - he was quite chuffed!
Although this isn't the first time I've been to Wyndham Cache, this recent experience reminded me why I'll continue to go back.

Would not come back.. Based on the menu and location, we decided to give this place a try for breakfast as it looked promising. Ordered the poached eggs and the waitress dropped half the toppings on the table; and didn't even offer to replace it. And yet we still had to pay full price. Completely rude. Definitely do not recommend this place.

Surprisingly Good.. After reading some of the negative reviews a friend and I decided to see for ourselves. It was a Tuesday lunchtime and the carpark was quite full. We were very warmly greeted and welcomed. Our cutlery was brought to the table and drinks order taken very quickly. Our meal order was taken and we were told beforehand that there might be a bit of a wait due to them being busy. If there was a long wait, we didn't notice. The food was tasty and portion sizes were good. Staff were friendly and I can't think of any negatives.
Overall, a very pleasant experience for us and I have booked a dinner here for two so I look forward to that.

Dreadful steak sandwich with a tiny bit of over cooked 2mm thick steak, basic white toast bread toasted to death, undressed salad, frozen chips and a miserable manager. We won't be back.

Yummy breakfast. My girl friends and I frequent cache at least a few times a month. The food is always lovely and the service is fantastic. I have been going since it opened.
See you tomorrow

Had a great breakfast at the cafe today! Peter was lovely and very friendly. The tall chef on the pass was lovely and greeted us on the way past. Will definately be back

Mains. & dessert lovely! seemingly good atmosphere but wait staff a little slow & not asking table if more drinks required.

This place is slowly going down the gurgler! Was greeted by a very unhappy lass at the counter who just wouldn't smile if u paid her. She pointed out a table and walked off in the other direction. While waiting to place our order, the cook/chef decided to vent how hot the kitchen was by dropping the F bomb. I'm not a prude but there's a time and place, not a good look when there's a family within earshot. Breakfast arrived and looked good at first. My poached eggs were not drained long enough which resulted in my toast being water logged grr. I could go on but I think you get the picture. Better value for your buck elsewhere.

We used to love this restaurant for breakfast or lunch on a sunny day. The last few visits the staff seem angry, and like they don't want to be there. This Sunday was the last straw. Ordered spring rolls they were cold mush in the middle, and each had a BLT. The bacon was cold, the toast was rock hard like it has been sitting out already toasted for an hour. Asked for water and never for it. Chocolate milkshake tastes like plain milk. No salt and pepper on the table , asked for tomato sauce and got it when done my meal. Also waitresses should be given sections as we were asked by 4 different ones in 5 minutes if we were ready to order.... And we weren't. Sucks that we have to say goodbye to such a great location!'
Natalie
The waitress Francesca had an attitude problem, I ordered French toast with bacon and no banana, it came with banana, not a big deal but when we sent it back I was given attitude like I made the mistake, they bought it back and clearly had just removed the banana as I could still taste it. Great location but some poor standards

LIVE MUSIC NIGHT. Last night we went along to the Cache's first live music night. We had a really great time! The music from TYO was really good and best of all not too loud, so we could still manage a converation at our table.
Really good value too, $30 per person which included finger food - and let me tell you it wasn't party pies and sausage rolls - it was amazing, creative food - and so much of it!
Looking forward to the next one!
Adam
Great food and friendly team. I had breakfast with my partner here on a Sunday, we did not book and were given a table within a few minutes. The attended Peter walked us to our table and menus appeared on the table within seconds. The waitress kept and eye on us whilst she was handing other customers their food and came over as soon as we were ready to order. The food came out in a reasonable timeframe as the place was near capacity. Meal was great and well worth the money. Only thing I could suggest is make the pancakes less fluffy and/or smaller. Had them twice now and can never finish them.

This is the second time I have been and both times have been enjoyable. I highly recommend this cafe and will defiantly be returning...
Sean
Dissapointed of the bad service. Excitedly we invited our friends to join us for breakfast at our newly found cafe escape this last Sunday... Looking forward to our breakfast, we should have known that it was going to end badly when we ordered a thick shake and were informed, "we cannot make you one sir as we are too busy today (9:15am)". Needless to say, every order for a coffee / drink preceded a 15min to 25 minute wait on the condition that we were able to flag down a waitress to make the order in the first place. The food was really good on the other hand which saddens me given the poor quality of service. The venue is also reasonable for those who stay in the western suburbs. My concern is that of the manager / owner (older bloke) who was not willing to offer anything but an insincere apology (and I mean insincere) when we complained about our poor service, blaming it on 'a busy day' (where half the cafe was empty). My response: Make an effort and improve your customer service and staff on the floor. A coffee should not take more than 3 minutes... (hoping you improve),
Garyeatsitall
Excellent!. Have been here numerous times and have never booked. Even when extremely busy ALL of the staff are very welcoming and have gone out of their way to set up an extra table and made us feel very welcome. Like anywhere, the place can get a little hectic when flat out, but he staff cope well and are very attentive always updating if the order is taking a little while when busy, and then offering complimentary items if they've left us waiting. . One of the best in Wyndham.
Renee
I will not be going there again based on the rudeness of staff. Each time I have been there the staff are quite abrupt and grumpy. On the last occasion (the final straw) I booked a table ahead and told the lady on the phone that I had a pram. When my grandmother and I arrived a lady scolded me and told me in the future to let them know if you want to bring a pram because they are busy and dont have much space. Both my grandmother and i were shocked by the abruptness of this waitress. I was quite embarrassed because the waitress began to huff and puff as she proceeded to make room for my pram and other patrons were noticing. If my grandmother hadn't just travelled from the other side of town I would have left!!
The rudeness is not just from one staff member but a few of them and I would strongly recommend a crash course in customer service and maybe even just basic manners!
TastebudTrail
The ambience was was cosy and lovely, service was friendly. We went there for breakfast and were quite pleased with the large choice of breakfast items on the menu. The food was quick to come out and the portions were gigantic! Amazing quality and delicious. Fantastic value for money and we will definitely be back!

Give it a big miss. Visited on a Saturday morning. We asked for a table (the restaurant was only 1/2 full) & we were asked by a staff member if we had a booking which we did not. She was rude & after pondering for a few moments & looking at the clock she gave us a table number for us to find ourselves. Waiter came over almost immediately to take our order but we hadn't even had time to open the menu. When we asked if we could have a minute, he walked away & didn't bother coming back. It was stated in the menu that breakfast was served until 11.30am & lunch from 11.00am, my daughter ordered from the breakfast menu & my mum & myself ordered from the lunch menu (it was 11.15am). We were then informed that the lunch menu didn't start until 11.30am so the waitress put the breakfast order in & then at 11.30am put the lunch order in -ridiculous! We had to ask we're our drinks were after 15 mins- the service was rubbish & my daughter ended up waiting 20 minutes for a egg & bacon focaccia smothered with what looked like hollendaise sauce which was not mentioned on the menu & the lunch meals came out 20 mins after the supposed lunch menu started food was just ok & our bruschetta stood on the kitchen bench for 10 mins waiting for my chicken wrap to be finished. I will never come back here again- if you want a lovely lunch in Werribee & the best coffee & cakes, go to Moka in Watton Street-I know I will next time!

What a shame. Have been four times now for breakfast. First two visit were good although service slow. Second last time, they have gone to South America for the coffee it took that long! The last time well service was an absolute balls up, got it all wrong. Meals were just warm, saw them sitting on the counter for 10 minutes before they were tabled. Sent my pancakes back as they were cold except for the centre and I got may replacement meal it wasn't cooked through. Manager basically called me a liar. Save your time, give this place a big miss, they can,t Handel the pressure, real shame.
Michelle
Have been here before and it was good but today was terrible! Service was so slow and my pancake was more like a cake!!
Emily Willats
Would recommend. Been here just the once, so far, for a sunday lunch booking with 20 people. The restaurant was quite busy, service was very friendly however quite slow and we did have to get the staffs attention for more drinks.
The food was fantastic! Everyone on the table was very happy! I had the Salmon Caesar Salad, very well presented and excellent value for money. Great drinks selection, including wines from the local Shadowfax Winery.
Added benefit of being able to split bills which was very handy for our large group.
I want to return for the breakfast menu which sounds delicious!

People rave about this place???. Went on a Wednesday lunch time with a friend of mine... waitstaff were rude and not attentive. After looking at a menu where nothing really jumped out at me I had a beef burger, which was bland to the point I would have sent it back if the wait staff had ever asked me how my food was... alas they did not and I sucked it up and ate it. My friend was also rather dissatisfied with her meal. After the bad food and bad service we actually went somewhere else to have our after meal coffee. How this place got such a good name I'm not sure.

Has Potential - Great Food. Went for dinner on a Friday night with 4 other people. The staff were very attentive getting us settled but after the mains were taken away they focused on resetting tables for breakfast. After waiting 15 minutes and no offer of coffee or desserts we left. This really needs to be improved as I have read the desserts are wonderful.
Must mention the food because it was delicious. The lamb rack, spare ribs and chicken pasta were yummy. The pumpkin mains dish was a great idea but there was too much pumpkin. The snapper was nice but a little too firm, almost rubbery.
I would definitely visit again. Hopefully to try the desserts next time!

A Welcome Surprise. My wife and I have been meaning to try this Restraunt / Cafe for months, after having a coffee there one afternoon. We decided to go on Friday night, this is the only nights they are open. We were pleasantly surprised. The meals were excellent and the prices reasonable. The attention to detail and service was brilliant. The only minor point was the meal was a little rushed between courses, but this was not of a major concern. Leave room for the deserts, they are unbelievable.
Pauline2908
Food was substandard. I ordered squid with salt and pepper. I expected salt and pepper squid in the traditional fried way but what I received was boiled or stewed in water tasteless slabs of squid. The squid was tender (probably done in a pressure cooker) but had no taste whatsoever. It was a case of we passed bits around the table to guess what it was. The surface of the dipping mayonnaise was oxidised and a skin had formed on it from sitting around for too long. The frisee lattuce salad was old and brown in parts and had been recycled we thought. Same with the grated carrot which looked like it had been grated hours before. Haloumi was tough and wrapped in proscuitto that was very dried out. Chicken parmigiano was the standard that you would get in any RSL club. Sick of substandard food. The black forest cakes were rich and good. Don't bother people.

Great Place In Werribee Finally !!!. Went for breakfast after a friend recommended it we sat outside what a beautiful place, fantastic breakfast large serves and yummy. Apparently the pancakes are delicious but couldn't fit another thing in after breakfast.
Will be going back soon to try the huge and I mean huge Pancakes. Thanks for a great dinning experience.

Bad coffee, bad toast, ran out of pancakes, there was constantly 3 or so staff standing around chatting, slow service, owner is friendly and the place is nice but generally overrated
Ben Minutoli
Surprising. It is out a bit and not really where you would expect a restaurant. When we got there it was very busy and seams to be very popular. Food was good, value was average, service was very good.
I would recommend it.

Informal family lunch. We visited the Cache Cafe today for a quiet lunch, all food was very well cooked and tastefully presented at a reasonable price..

Waitress's could not have been more helpful. Would/Will go again.. No complaints at all....

Yummy Breakfast. One of the best breakfast in town. I'm a fan of Big breakfast, and that is what I order all the time if it's on the menu. This one is one of the best ones I've had.. And i usually don't eat the bacon, I did on this one... all are cooked perfectly. The only comment negative comment I have is the bread. it looked like a regular slice of bread from the grocery.. BUT it;s not, I'm just fussy that way, coz it ruined the presentation...
The staff are excellent too... :) I'm going back here more often.. :)

Not good, service is so slow! Could dehydrate or die of starvation waiting for your food and drinks. The floor looked like it hadn't been cleaning in days, food scraps, dirt and hair all over the floor! The food was nothing spectacular, flavourless and dry, asked for extra parmesan only to be told "they just ran out", the only good thing would be the homemade pasta.
Kath
YUCK. Slow service - had to ask for order tro be taken
no service during meal
had to write the check myself as they couldnt find the prices???
been twice. first time when it first open. and thought service was only because they were new. went back 6 months later and exactly the same people but service WORSE

40th Birthday Party. Thank you to Peter and all the staff for making sandie's 40th Bithday Party PERFECT!! From the moment we organised the party Peter was very accommodating and seen to all our request. Staff made our guests welcome, and the chefs did an excellent job with all the meals. We recieved alot of feed back from our guests commenting on how good the food was. So thankyou very much again
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Love It. Just what Werribee needs. Fantastic, unpretentious food, well priced and kid friendly. Great staff. Highly recommended casual dining venue.

Valentines Day. What a fabulous night, the food tasted fantastic, the presentation was A1, the service was also fabulous, the choices for the set menu made it hard to choose what to have but suffice to say each meal was sublime.
Andrea
Its ok, too much egg on breakfast for non egg eaters, but lunch menu very good.

I love Wyndham Cache. Its the best place in Werribee. Friendly staff, meals are simple, but nice. Breakfast is my favourite.
We have been many times, and each time its been excellent service. Going again today for lunch with visitors from out of town. Hope they enjoy what the fabulous west has to offer.
Highly recommend it.

Won't go again. Went for the first time last week and would never go back. Service was terrible, food average and no atmposphere. The place felt clinical. The chicken in the 'Chicken Sub' was bearly cooked and tasted like that you would find in a fast food pizza joint, not what you would expect from a new cafe/restaurant claming to be a 'gourmet' establishment. The beef fajita was ok'ish but not served as the menu says. Don't waste your time, plenty of better places to go nearby.

Wyndham Cache would like to say thankyou to everyone who has visited us since opening in Dec10. We would also like to say thankyou for all the positive feedback and constructive criticism and most of all we would like to apologize to all those who left dissappointed with our performance.
Management has noted all comments and is now tak...ing steps to rectify and improve its standards. Our customer needs are very important to us therefore we welcome continued customer feedback.
One thing that has become evident is our popularity has growm far quicker than we could have ever imagined therefore we encourage you all to make booking to avoid delays when you visit especially on weekends.
We are now 6months old and we are far from perfect but with your assistance we will continue to improve and make Wyndham Cache another attraction opposite the Werribee Park Tourism Precinct.

Ben. The cafe opens at 7 you have 4 hours and 30min to get there for breakfast. If u can't get there in that time it's ur bad luck. Lunch has started so y would the cafe push back lunch orders just so u can get breakfast when it has clearly finished

We arrived and were seated looking at the menu when we noticed it was 11:33 am, 3 minutes past the breakfast end time and could not get anything . We left .

Nice place for a Sunday lunch. Quite agreeable and a positive direction for dining in the West. Liked the modern aesthetics, well meaning albeit unpolished service, and good selection of pub style food which was neither pretentious nor compromising in it's integrity: the whiting fish and chips was crispy yet succulent on the inside without being oily, the wagyu beef burger was a little bit overcooked for my liking but still quite tender. The kitchen have taken care of the little details like relish, fresh salad and spices on the chips which was nice. Overall, a pleasant experience. Shall be back to try other things in the menu.

Dissapointing. My fiance and I went to Wyndham Cache for breakfast today. We arrived at 11.10 to be told that breakfast finishes at 11.30, so we would need to order lunch (even though there was still 20 min to go before breakfast ended), however their big breakfast is available all day. We both had the big breakfast, mine without bacon and sausages, yet I was still charged the full price and not offered anything in replacement.

Service was slow and we needed to ask for things multiple times.

Having heard good reviews from this place, I was disappointed to find out it didn't live up to the reviews

Food is fantatisic at Wyndham Cache, although a few changes need to be made. When serving breakfast they use just normal toast. it would make the dish look and taste even better if it was served with either thick toast or turkish bread. otherwise, all is good.

Dissapointing. Went there all excited after the reviews here, but left not that excited. To start with be aware lunch menu doesn't start to 1130am. Breakfast served up to then. The place is open and spacious. Staff friendly enough but nothing flash. Despite me asking for my "famous" wafyu burger plain with no salad I got it covered in onions and salad. Easy enough removed but principle. Wife got lamb salad and reported her meat not that cooked. Because we were there 30 mins before lunch menu came active I ordered some pancakes. I will say they are large sized. There was no knife/fork brought for main meals. I didn't think the wafyu burger was all that great. All up I feel there is better places to go. For two adults and a kids fish n chips it came in at $70.

Went there today after reading a few reviews on urbanspoon and me and my wife were both impressed. Service was great, as soon as we sat down were asked if we'd like drinks, then 5 mins later were asked if we'd decided yet. We both went for the beef wagyu burger. It promptly arrived and were greeted with a mountain of food. The burger was as good as it looked and is probably the best burger I've ever had. Wasn't dry or overly juicy and tasted divine. Usually I don't care for chips bit these were pretty good as well. Next time we go back, which will be very soon, my wife is demanding either scones or mars bar cake washed down with a bit fresh glass of chocolate milkshake.. She's like a kid in a candy store.

Just what we need!. What a wonderful breath of fresh air to Wyndham! Brilliantly thought out with light airy spaces, great staff, wholesome tasty food and reasonable prices. You have thought of everything. I've been 4 times in the past few weeks and am LOVING it. It's just the kind of place we need to keep putting the western suburbs on the map. I love the mix of clientele and the history associated with the owners. LOVE LOCAL.

Love it!. I love this beautiful new cafe! The staff are so friendly & customer oriented even bringing a bottle of chilled water we didn't ask for ( but was very welcomed) when we sat chatting for hours. The food is great & served without delay & the scones are to die for! Large windows in a modern new building overlooking the beautiful farming area round off the most pleasurable dining experience.
