Review Ploy Thai - Werribee

Ordered the Chicken Roti Roll, Garlick & Cracked Black pepper beef and the chicken Pad Kee Mao. The flavours are just perfect, portions sizes are really good and really good customer service. My go to for Thai from now on and highly recommended.

Nice dining experience. Recently renovated and reopened after a heavy rain damage. We appreciated the sculptures and artefacts from rich Thai heritage on the walls . Quick and polite service. Good taste. Bit on mild side by default. Remember to ask for spicier if you like it so. I will recommend pineapple fried rice.

Food was OK, but the meals were supposed ready in 30 minutes and we waited from 18:43 to 20:00 so no we were not happy people who came after us, got their meals first. I do not recommend this restaurant.Also, the ordering system is so bad, you can only order through your phone and at the end when you pay they put a fee on as well. No apologies nothing. They have BYO however only wine not beer and corkage is per person $3

Avoid this place if you want to eat good Thai food. The decor and ambience are quite good but the food is not worth the price they charge. The cooking is just lazy and they don’t even try to hide it, we ordered green curry with chicken for which they charge around $17 it’s doesn’t come with rice. Had to order rice separately. The curry was bland and they had used frozen crinkle cut veggies with carrot, bean and baby corn with chicken chunks that looked pale white(refer to pics). Couldn’t taste any fish sauce, kafir lime leaves or galangal in it. The coconut white rice that we ordered separately (for $10) came in a fancy container that was like filled with 10% of rice. The rice quality was poor and wasn’t properly cooked. The waitress and the host were nice and pleasant. Their touch less POS machine wouldn’t accept phone pay but tap on with credit card worked just fine. No complementary prawn crackers unlike most thai restaurants.

Restaurant was clean and food was fresh and tasty the waitress was friendly we used a Groupon voucher and was great value for money I would highly recommend ploy thai, we went on a Wednesday night and was not crowded perfect!. Compared to thailand the green curry was not as hot but had a better flavour... every dish was very enjoyable

Had steamed buramundi spicy fish rice and chicken Monday night around 7.30pm 100% food taste cooked well service was excellent would love to recommend this place for a Thai experience will be back Thankyou for the warm and friendly atmosphere

Nice place to have your Thai dinner. Foods are quite tasty with reasonable pricing in most of the items in menu. Staff Service is also good .

Food was tasty, but the quantity of food in each plate was very less. Not worth it for the price.

Bad service- my pad thai had no tofu and I specifically mentioned it to be spicy but rather it was minty. No veggies in my pad thai except for carrots just one slice of baby corn i got no bell peppers it was totally bad. <br/>Spoilt my dinner <br/>Highly disappointed <br/>Please I request no one to waste their money on this kinda food

We ordered take away Pad Thai Chicken, got home after a 15 minute drive to discover the container was only half full and there was no chicken at all. Called to advise and the service was shocking so we asked for a refund or at least a new pad thai WITH chicken like ordered... Waste of time and petrol. Wont be coming back ever!

The food was absolutely divine. I couldn't recommend this place better. I am a chef and i would definitely go back. The waitress staff were very caring and food was cooked to perfection. Thank you Ploi Thai!!

Food is okay. Very small servings. Has lots of vegetarian and some vegan options though which is good. The vegetarian massaman curry tasted nice, just wish there was more of it.

Very disappointed food was just ok but the portion sizes were very very small not worth the money they charged... staff didn't care and said they lied for promotion. Highly recommend going elsewhere for taste and your monies worth. Never returning will go anywhere else but here.

Ordered tom yum chicken soup and ploy thai chicken wing for entree, green curry chicken & beef, cashew chicken, fried rice for main, and an ice cream with various toppings for dessert. <br/><br/>I missed the sourness from the tom yum. All I can taste was sweet soup. <br/>The ploy thai chicken wings was the worst. It just 6 pcs of tiny deep fried wings and sweet chili dipping sauce. Nothing special. <br/>And from that entree, all the food that came from the kitchen were all sweet and the portion sizes were small for the price. <br/>Quick service, and the waitress was friendly and attentive. <br/>

The food is okay. Nothing special about this thai restaurant. <br/>We ordered the cashew chicken. It was a bit salty. Also ordered the green curry it seemed a bit off.<br/>Won't be returning to this place<br/>

I first had take away Massaman chicken curry & rice which was ordered by an associate of mine, and on eating it was actually quite tasty, giving the best of the best of Thai in Werribee & surrounds a run.<br/><br/>Excited by the prospect of this find I ventured back for a sit down meal with the family on a Sunday night.<br/><br/>Restaurant was quite at 6.15pm, matter of fact, we were the first in there but the delivery service was bustling away.<br/>Staff/greeting/seating all fairly normal and average.<br/><br/>Order came out in a good time.<br/>Satay Chicken Skewers: Tough chicken, sauce average.<br/>Roti Bread: Hard, and below average.<br/>Massman chicken curry - same dish I raved about above - cold, tasteless, and disappointing.<br/>Coconut rice - nice.<br/>My wife had some green curry that was suppose to be hot in spice but like mine was not hot, and not spicy.<br/><br/>For a family of four the price came in around $95, we normally check out at around $82 at Sweet Chili.<br/>For me, didn't cut it and I probably won't go back.

Ordered a take away and was charged $24 and when I got it home it was cold and the container was half full.<br/>Rang to let them know that we were not happy and was told would ask the chef and ring us back never did.<br/>Will never go back.

The food was okay nothing exciting. Order a lot of dishes and wasn't a fan of the Tom yum soup. I will be back if there is nothing else to eat.

Very disappointed with our delivery as the food was cold, portion sizes way to small & mixed entree was not as stated on the menu. The noodles were so cold they stuck together in one sticky lump. We were still so hungry we had to end up cooking dinner anyway! Will not return & not recommend.

Ordered a large delivery for guests this evening. Took over an hour to deliver; 40 minutes later than advised. The massaman curry didn't have very much of anything in it. Other meals were good. Paid extra for satay sauce with one of the entrees and it wasn't there. Ordered 2 desserts and neither of them were what we were expecting based on the descriptions, one of them was inedible.

Absolutely beautiful food and service, I'm surprised this venue doesn't have a better rating. The mango caramel chicken was delicious over coconut rice and combing all of the dishes seen in the added photo resulted in the best food I have eaten in any restaurant this year.

Pretty awful. Decided to order a delivery was told it would take 2 hours to get to us because there was other deliveries in front, so I opted for my husband to pick it up on his way home from work. They said it would be 15-20 mins he got there in 20 and was waiting another 15mins. <br/>Got it home the Tom yum soup was stone cold and thick, i had to add water to it so it would be a soup and eatable. Ordered mini spring rolls, they were nothing but pastry, I'm not sure if they forgot to put the filling in but there was nothing. Ordered curry puffs which weren't in the bag but we're swaped with rock hard stone cold fish cake things. Husbands green curry was the only thing that came right, he said it was a little bland but otherwise good. All in all it was pretty disappointing and won't be recommending or revisiting.

Just tried it the first time last night and I can honestly say that it was the tastiest and most authentic Thai food I’ve ever had in Melbourne! Their customer service was incredible! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The curry puffs were delicious! Love love love! 10/10 would recommend and will be a regular customer from now!

Ms lady. Ordered crumbed calamari with wasabi mayo for entre Wasn't real calamari and was given sweet chilli sauce. I wanted to take home the left over main meal Was given the containers to do this myself Restauranf was not busy so I don't know why they couldn't do it No water offered and not asked if we would like any There are other Thai restaurants in Wereibee so I won't bd going back to this one

They delivered the meal 45 minutes late, cold and with most of the green curry in the bottom of the plastic bag.<br/><br/>No offer of compensation was given.

The best Thai food. We are a regular customer at ploythai, we've tried almost everything. The food is absolute delicious and best customer service all staffs are always happy all the food is done how you like it. We were a customer of fresh chilli,in my opinion ploy Thai is better with better food no msg real Thai food and everything is fresh from the farm and Thailand. Chefs do not leave things over night or re cook something, everything is boiled before frying. You can see this while walking pass the kitchen to the toilet. I reccomemd everyone to this restaurant, you will love it.

My hubby & I tried Ploy for the first time and we loved it! The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was simply delicious. Best Pad Thai I've had since Thailand.

Best Thai Restaurant in the West. My husband and I are regular customers at Ploy Thai. My favourite dish is stir fry Tom yum with beef and the banana fritters. Highly recommend Ploy Thai.

Love it! My husband and I are regulars. Always fresh and tasty, genuine friendly service too. As a vegan they cater well for me, often ignored by many restaurants, a smart move because I generally get to choose where to eat as a family/group.

Sensations food! My partner and I have gone to every Thai restaurant within 30km of this one, and the food at ploy Thai is by far the best! No MSG, fresh vegetables, real chicken breast and the chefs in the kitchen are always willing to make it exactly how you like it. The stir fry dishes are healthy and amazing and the spring rolls are hand made at the shop - an absolute must have!

To sephora for your information every restaurant uses Thai coconut milk from a can which is Mai ploy the best milk from Thailand and where do you think we have a coconut tree in the back yard why don't you ask the chef before critising my very successful restaurant and all the hard work all my staff and my self put in to this buisiness I no I'm to years late to say this but we are well liked by a lot of great customers to start from nothing and going sting now for six years !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great authentic Thai food. When ordering just tell the waiter how authentic (spicy) you want it. Great value for money. Good portion size. Unlike others, real Thai chefs. Highly recommended. A weekly regular for my family.

Wouldnt go anywhere else. From the amazing decor,cutlery dinner wear all which comes from Thailand,the friendliest staff who wear beautiful traditional Thai uniforms also from Thailand who they really take care of you & Thai music playing in the background the atmosphere is by far the best I've ever experienced & with tantalizing traditional authentic food which smells amazing,makes your mouth water,there's plenty of room inside & not loud like the other Thai restaurants that i have been to in the western suburbs & your not rushed out the door either,i would highly recommend you give it a go,i am now a regular will not be going anywhere else :)

Regular customer. I am a regular customer at Ploy Thai and have always enjoyed their food. Have never had a bad dish. The food and the customer service is excellent and I can see myself dining here for many years to come.

Average. Used to go to Ploy Thai frequently as the food was excellent. went back a few weeks ago and was disappointed, prices have increased signifigantly, the portions are much smaller and the food was not as fresh. Good friendly service from the staff but the food was disappointing. We now go to Fresh Chili in Laverton for Thai food.

Absolutely awful. Grossly overpriced for non-authentic curries. We were seated near the kitchen and could see the "chefs" using curry pastes out of jars that you find in the supermarket. The only good thing about Ploy Thai is that is is better than Jakkajans. When will Werribee get decent Thai?!

The food is fantastic, try the Chang Mai Chicken Curry! The service is friendly and down to earth.
