Review Schnitz - Werribee

Jasmine Nguyen
We visited the Werribee restaurant tonight and just wanted to say how pleased we were with the service and food. It's been awhile since we've been there, so were pleasantly surprised. Special shout out to Edmond who was just a delight. He was very professional, provided fantastic customer service and made our dine in experience very enjoyable. Thanks again team! We look forward to coming back soon.

The food was wonderful and the service was phenomenal. Special shout-out to Wesley for his excellent customer service! There should be more people like you in this world. Thank you for blessing our family with a wonderful dining experience. We will surely be back for more.

The food and customer service was amazing, highly recommend this place! I only gave it 2 stars because the manager (damian) has absolutely no respect or manners for his staff. He was humiliating a new team member on display for customers to see which was completely disgusting. The way he talks to his staff is very demeaning and appalling, he needs to be trained on how to communicate effectively and respectfully. not good enough do better.

We are big Schnitz fans and have eaten at many however Werribee takes the cake for the best Schnitz in the West. We come here knowing that the food is consistently good, portion sizes are generous and the service is outstanding. We travel 25+ minutes to eat here even though we have a Schnitz local to us. Thanks to Wesley and his awesome team.

I went to Schmitz Werribee for a meal will my husband. We were charged extra for a beef schnitzel and they would not refund the extra even though there was no writing anywhere to confirm this. They also charged us extra for chips that were supposedly included with the meal and would not refund anything because the meal was already made ( it took another 10 minutes to make it to the table). not happy!

Friendly staff, nice food. I can always expect to have a good experience at schnitz. Had a parma and chips. They have had sanitiser throughout various places in their store. Tables were wiped down soon after people left.

They do have very prompt service here. I would usually go with the basic schnitz with a side of sweet potato chips as they are amazing. Do not miss out on the sweet potato chips

Service quick and excellent. Taste 3.5 / 5 . Swiss burger had good flavour the only thing that the burger bun was cold . It would have been an excellent burger if the burger bun would have been hot . Fries had really nice seasoning loved it . Chicken Parma was just ok .

I’ve been to another Schnitz outlet and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Trying in this outlet, queue was almost to the door but service was quite fast. Ordered the roll and the parma, both chicken. It was quite awesome. Schnitz is best when you order chicken because beef tends to be under. Service was friendly and he attends to each customer. The chips were awesome. Crispy and hot. It had changed the way I looked at Schnitz. Keep it up.

I went here for an early dinner tonight while I was working. It was a bit slow waiting in line to order and there were only a couple of people in front of me. I ordered the Aussie chicken schnitzel wrap, this came with bacon, egg, cheese, beetroot and BBQ sauce. The wrap itself was nice and the chicken wasn’t dry. The chips were ok, I didn’t really like the aioli because it tasted like they use Praise mayo.

The people working here were friendly enough. I would probably come back here if I was in the area for a quick dinner.

I tried a couple of burgers they were good except for the beef burgers which seem a bit undercooked ...

The chip here are awesome the best I've ever had ! :)
i recommend trying the chips with chilly aioli ...

what i don't like about restaurants is them charging for sauces even for tomato?!!! Seriously 50c ?

Like most places in Urban Diner, Schnitz attempts to seduce potential customers by attracting them to a higher level of food than a simple food court. The setting similar to those of other schnitz chains with an earthy feel which gives off a sense of natural ambience.

The main idea of the chain itself centres around the schnitzel (clearly). From the diverse items on the menu, I had the Aussie wrap and chips.

In the wrap itself, there is the schnitzel for which the place prides itself on, as well as egg, bacon and beetroot. In the hand, the wrap itself fits unusually small in the hand, owing to its comparatively small size to other wraps of a similar price. Other than this, there is not much wrong. It feels more like a breakfast wrap than anything you'd have for lunch or dinner.

With the chips, it is hard.to go wrong. Almost always consistent, a crunchy texture on the outside met with a soft potato on the inside of the chip, and well seasoned.

Not bad, though nothing particularly outstanding overall.

Ordered the fish schnitzel with spicy crumb and chicken fillet with Moroccan spices, the chicken was a bit small and dry but flavours were definitely there 👌 the fish was just cooked and crumb had a crunch to it! Highly recommend 👍

Asked for a plain and simple burger got a schnitzel that was thinner than most crepes I've seen
The lady who served me was very good full marks to her
The one who brought out my order appeared to be put out having to do so
I'd be happier to cook it myself would have been less burnt
Overpriced rubbish
Schnitz chicken is among some of my favourite around the area however the food is let down by poor customer service, went into the store and when I started to order the cashier turned and started talking to her friend then turned backed to me and asked me to repeat my order.

The beauty of walking into a schnitz is that I feel they are consistent across their stores-you know what you're going to get. Ordered the teeny weeny pack. At under $10 the value is awesome! Kids meal that more than satisfies my hunger...and includes a bottle of water. Ace.

Ordered Thai the knot and Parmagedon wrap. Love the spiciness on the Thai, but probably will love it even more if it wasn't too sweet. But that is only my opinion because abviously it said sweet chili on it. My son love the Pamagedon and the chips were excellent. The dude that served us was very polite and attentive.

I have been eating at this restaurant for six months, Every item on the menu is great. The ambience of the restaurant is very European. Love the chips. Never miss chips here. Basic Schnitzel is so tasty compared to other restaurants. Tender and crispy bread crumbs. Even the salads are so filling and delicious. I think anyone wants to have a quick meal. This fast food restaurant won't disappoints you. The best location is in Werribee Plaza

being a fast food chain, Schnitz in Werribee plaza is very good in terms of food quality. The newly opened store in point cook town centre however was not as good. The whole family loved their chips, so crispy and flavoursome. Burgers and wraps were not bad too since the ingredients looks really fresh unlike some other sandwich places.

Had lunch here last week after shopping, was suprisingly quite good for a quick bite at the shops. I had the chicken Turkish roll el senor and it was pretty good
The chicken was soft and full of flavour without being too oily ,could've been a bit more salad inside the roll tho
The best thing was their fries,I've never had anything taste like that before, crunchy an full of flavour.definitely try their fries if you go past there!

Nice fresh food, reasonable prices & friendly staff. Hubby was very impressed with his Caesar salad and couldn't finish it due to the size. I had the garden salad with added schnitzel. I was kinda expecting it to be mixed all together in the salad but came out as separate - no big deal. Serves alcohol, so added plus - Will visit again

Went to Schnitz today for lunch with hubby was a disappointment I had Thai the Knot which was supposed to have coriander apparently in it, one lousy small leaf, so complained, the waiter did bring me out another couple of leaves not good enough. I did advise that I would not be eating this again so he returns with a bunch of it. Hubby had Si' Senor which was over cooked, chips were good though cant go wrong there
