This restaurant is actually great. The best pancakes I've had here in melb for its worth. Combination pancakes is a must with every order. Note that it is a big pancake and very filling. I get full on this alone. Restaurant needs a make over cause i always turned away just from the look of it, until one day, i tried my luck. Im so sadden this place has shut down

Ngon bo re? :) Great value and taste is the best and authentic around here. Certainly not Sunshine or Footscray but not far off either. I lke it.

Good value for money. Flavour-wise, they always deliver. They have healthy options and are flexible with special requests. We eat there practically 3 times a week. Service is average, but we don't mind because we go for there for the food and never get disappointed.

Food was great - nice mix of flavours that are authentic. Ambience and service was alright, not a bad dinner choice out in Werribee town centre. Could do with more dish options and a brighter interior.

The Tom yum soup is great. Full of flavour. We ordered Singapore noodles and the chef didn't add salt and had lack of flavour. No apologies issues. The stir fried chicken chili had no flavour.

Duyen Duyen has become one of my favourite Vietnamese Restaurants & I've been to many! It is truly an institution. Decor - average, Service - ok, Price - really good, Food - Amazing!! If you want sensational food at a very reasonable price & don't mind average/plain decor/service, then you'll love this place.

The most horrendous Chinese food experience one could probably expect. The lemon chicken came full of cashews, which would be fine if my wife wasn't deathly allergic to them. Of course, it would have been nice for it to be on the menu that it comes with cashews. The pork with plum sauce was runny and had zero flavour. I can make much better at home with a jar of char siu. The honey chicken wasn't crispy at all, just a wet battered mess. They also forgot an entree and our fried rice and after calling them they had zero call about that and were totally unapologetic. Not going back. Avoid at all costs.... there is a Hungry Jacks on the corner, a much better option... that's how bad it is.

We have been regulars at Duyen Duyen since it opened. Over 10 years. It’s not fancy but great value, good food & our local go to place. Had large groups, family groups and dinner for two and take away - many many times. food always reliable. Service is no frills but friendly. Favourite dish salt and pepper squid. Husbands favourite Mongolian beef or pepper steak. Spring rolls a must to start with.

Cheap, large servings and super tasty!!! Plain no frills Viet dining. Worth a try if you want a super tasty meal. This is not the place to go for atmosphere, purely good food.

We have been regulars at duyen duyen for over 10 years and the quality of food is always great. The restaurant is a bit plain to dine in with not much atmosphere but the flavours well and truly make up for it and prices are very reasonable. Service gets friendlier the more you go also.
Went there for a friends birthday with a group from church and a few of us specified no msg and one lady requested no broccoli, the one that said no broccoli got some and I had asked for no msg yet I was so thirsty after it and could taste the salt. The rest rooms are a disgrace. Have been here a few times with friends and even though the restaurant is popular the property needs updating.

Bland, tasteless & shocking service. We went in on a rather quiet day. Ordered our meals & to our surprise a different dish came out in which they said we ordered... we didn't. All in all probably won't ever go near here.

Terrible. Simply terrible...nothing else

Disappointing. We used to enjoy dining here. Although they always seem short staffed and service slow, that could be forgiven because the food was good and cheap. Latest visit they served us a dish we didn't order and tried to tell us it was what we ordered, even though a couple of key ingredients were missing. Returned it to kitchen, brought back with key ingredients added, as well as wrong ones still present. Tasted horrible. Won't be returning. If you want Vietnamese food go to Footscray.

You should try the spicy Chili Lemon grass prawns with steam rice!
My favourite dish!

We love going here for a meal that is priced well within our budget, the meals are excellent quality, I especially love the soups. Staff are efficient and friendly.

Joey. Great food and great service,we will go again.
The place was full and we waited for a table for 2.
The fish and chicken were tops.

Terrible. Wait staff are slow and unattentive, the food is slow and wasn't hot enough, more to the point, as far as authentic Viet food goes, very bland, colourless and almost flavourless. Footscray or Richmond would be worth the drive.

AWESOME. This has to be the best place to eat out in the west.
Don't let the small and less then fancy looking shop front fool you, what they lack there, they more then make up for with the quality food! And not only quality, but so cheap also.

If quality is what your after, with less of the fancy and less of the waiters annoying you, then this is definitely the spot to go! It's a weekly haunt for us now!

Eddiep02. Do not let the looks of this restaurant fool you, the food is very good. Try the spring rolls as an entree. (enough for 2). I especially enjoy the Tom Yum soup and the lemonrass & chilli meals. Excellent prices.....good value.

Worst Viet ever! Drive to Victoria street Richmond. 40 minute wait for spring rolls, 30 minutes to get drinks and Soup tasted of hand wash. And it was nearly empty.... So no excuse.
