Review Squires Loft - Werribee

Absolutely sensational meal. We ordered Rump 400 gm's and Porterhouse 300 gms they were prepared to perfection. Black tiger prawn kebab are highly recommended. Staff service was good, very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this place. See you Squires Loft Werribee!

absolutely horrible service to the point my table of 4 couldnt stop laughing about how bad it was. cutlery was dirty. table dirty. service - they got orders wrong. the toilets dirty. dessert looked good but was horrible. lol they had just opened so the place was empty. eftpos machine wasnt working so cash only. the steak however was the only tick when we finally got it. step your game up!!

Really GREAT steak. I would highly recommend the surf and turf option as the king prawns were in generous sized on a skewer. I also loved the menu explaining each body part of the cow for you to find the perfect steak. The waitresses were very nice as well.

Had previously rated them a 5 star until my visit last night to celebrate my birthday. There was only one girl at the reception to take the orders, deliver the food and drinks and clean the tables. The girl did her best though i must admit. Complains: Order was wrong. Fried onions were not given until we asked for it again and 2 cokes were given instead of one. Promo at the Pacific Werribee clearly said that food for kids are free. The girl didnt know about it and thought it was not later in the month when the promo has started long time ago and will finish soon. The normal bread and butter before your order arrived were not given until asked. The food was not cooked accordingly and tasted awfully bad. Especially the burger for the kids. Both my wife's steak and mine were undercooked. Mine was nearly raw. Ive been to a lot of Squires Loft especially at Williamstown and here numerous times and this is the first time i had a so bad experience. This will be obviously my last time there too. Very disappointed. Was supposed to have a good meal my birthday. Didnt even finish my steak. Definitely not recommended. For the price you are paying you would expect a decent and cooked perfectly piece of meat.

Really great steak and sides! It's on the expensive side so a good place to enjoy a steak with a glass of wine for a special occasion or date night.

Look the last thing I wanna do is criticise but Last night was below par from the Service to the food. Its sad to see, Look guys from a previous business owner to another you guys must Improve or else its sad to say the future doesn't look promising. Looking across seeing Martini & co Full asking myself why's that the case when most Squires Loft I've been to have been fantastic. I'll be giving you 3 stars as I will never give a 1 star review to a business especially after the lockdowns we went through. I'm always here to support all businesses but unfortunately I will not be returning to Werribee squires loft again.

Terrible experience. Steak was mediocre. Chips were small serving. Have been twice and both times the chicken has been RAW inside!!! Still pink, given it’s a thick piece of meat, but don’t have chefs working if they can’t serve something that isn’t a health hazard...

Food and service was great, however questionable management considering it's been weeks since this location has reopened and still no eftpos machine.

Probably the worst meal I’ve had in a long time. Not only did half out order not come but my partner and should have only been charged half the price for our steaks because they other half had to be spat out on our plates cause it was inedible. Service was terrible and staff were rude. What a waste of money! <br/>

Excellent service and great decor however meals were a bit hit and miss. We tried the pork ribs, the flavour was there but half the ribs were too fatty for me. The chips had no flavour. The eye fillet steak was rare rather than medium rare. The chicken was delicious as was the Greek salad. I’d probably try again but having had awesome experiences at other Squires Lofts in Melbourne I’d return to those venues first.

Mains took an hour to come. Manager walk up to us and said," you know how you have been waiting for a while for you Mains, apparently some other table got your food. Please wait 5 more minutes and the food will be here shortly" So we waited another 15 minutes by this time total wait time of 1 hour 15 min - the food finally arrived. Well-done steak was too well done and dry. Medium rare was more rare than medium and chips were soggy. Complaint while paying and they only charged for one person instead of two people. This was the second bad experience, we never going back.

So been here about ten times and in that time I've watched it get worse and worse. Tonight the chips were unsalted and when I spoke to the manager she stuck up for the chef and said "that's just how we do them here". Sorry but if you cant season something as simple as a chip then I will never return. GF ordered the pork ribs. So dry and could not be eaten.<br/>Manager gave me 15% off but tbh I wont ever return.<br/>Attitude of manager sucked and by the standard of food the chefs attitude sucked as well. Stop being lazy and do your jobs.<br/>Piss poor. You have lost another customer well done.

The service was lovely. Waitresses were friendly. The drinks were also good. We have been to other Squires Loft in the city and Williamstown that are always very good. The meat was off in the lamb entree we got here and had to be sent back. The mains, steak and prawns, arrived cold and the food wasn't cooked to specifications.

Trying so hard to love this place as so close to home and LOVE Squires in Williamstown. Been multiple times and each time leave disappointed... For me the staff act like they really would rather be anywhere other than there. The cuts of steak seem to vary in quality too much from visit to visit... Sorry guys but we have persevered with you in the hope it improves but after 6 visits it is time so say farewell.

Good steak. But lousy service. Walked in and when we said we didn’t have a reservation, the hostess rolled her eyes and snipped “that’s fine but you have to be out in 45 minutes”. I’m a restaurant manager myself and I’d be retraining this girl on guest engagement. I understand the need for a table and reservations take precedence but there’s a way to explain that politely. Without the eye roll. Sorry you’re not an Arthur’s steakhouse or Sardi’s. And even they treat walk ins with more respect. <br/><br/>The waitress walked up to our table after we were abruptly seated and her greeting was “you wanna order?” Really? Whatever happened to “hi how are you” or “would you like to start with...”<br/><br/>Food came out quick considering it was steak. But the waitress went to 2 tables trying to find where it was going before finally guessing it was ours. <br/><br/>Like I said, steak was great but you have quite a way to go with service. Honeymoon period is over. Please coach your crew.

Been to a few squires loft so decided to try werribees location. Very similar in style and atmosphere. Service waa efficient and friendly from getting a table to food service. Foodwise could be a bad day but my usual order of grilled prawns could have tasted a lot better with some chargrilled taste, very average, and the feta garlic mushroom looked very sad unfortunately. Mushrooms were too little and feta was mot sparingly enough. Lucky it did tasted good but wasnt able to taste much of the garlic. Hubbys steak was a bit tough and sauce wasnt bpue cheesy enough for him. Overall good meal but they do need to lift their game to compare to the other locations like essendon or albert park...

Venue looks classy with a fine array of wine bottles displayed within the restaurant. Ordered their surf and turf - it was disappointing to see small prawns skewered over the steak. I would have loved it on the side with some dressing/marinade to the prawns to enhance its flavour... Maybe some garlic butter? The steak was average, pricey for what it's worth. Service was good.

Went for Fathers day dinner and the food was alright. My steak cutting was good, I got mine in nice medium rare. The flavour was good but need a little kick to make it better. Ribs was fantastic but the baked potato was a let down as it was totally bland. Service was good even they were busy.

I've been to numerous steak places including other Squires Loft restaurants. We dined at Squires Loft Werribee on Friday night and it was definitely the worst one. <br/><br/>Firstly their servers looked either very grumpy or simply didn't want to be there. The one greeted us at the counter looked very unhappy and ordering through him was rather an intimidating and unpleasant experience. I thought to myself - why am I paying $50 for this burnt steak and put up with this unfriendly service? Only credit I could give them was that one waitress came over a couple of times and checked if all is ok with a bright smile. <br/><br/>Secondly the steak was terrible - burnt outside and I ordered Medium but it was more close to well done.<br/><br/>We will never ever go back to this awful place again and my fellow Zomato readers, please do NOT waste your money at this place!

Came here on Friday night at 8 without a reservation, got a table for two without too much wait, so happy customers. The food is above average but wasn't impressive. The tap water they provided was horrible, it had funny taste. The wine list had reasonable variaties to choose from and the one we picked was good.

Pretty upset with the service, they were so slow and there attitude was appalling, it took 35 minutes to receive 4 drinks while we asked about 3 times before they arrived.<br/>I had asked 2 different waiters for our complementary bread and butter which never came.<br/>Only compliments is for the chef's as the food was good, a little under cooked but lucky I didnt mind it as it was still delicious. Would recommend if u like it steak medium rare ask for a medium. The mushroom with feta and garlic were spot on and tasty as well as the pork ribs.
