This is our second visit to this restaurant. As usual this place is always packed and busy. The service is fast, menu is easy to understand. Good variety of dishes, it has items other then dumplings which is great. The dishes we ordered were really great. Prawn dumplings was nice and juicy. My favorite dish was hainanese chicken the soup was tasty, rice was full of chicken flavor and the chicken was moist. The chicken dish (entree) was something like fried chicken (pop corn chicken)and it was very crispy. We also ordered mocktails which was different then usual ice teas at the Asian places.
This place is good for lunch. Have a live counter where u can see ladies making dumplings. Amazing ambiance. Quick and friendly service
If you want the most delicious spring onion pancakes you can find, look no further! Not to mention that Jasmine Tea the window into the dumpling room is such a clever idea because it promotes fresh food and allows customers to enjoy the atmosphere while they wait. I have never had a bad meal here and I usually try to convince all my friends to go there when we go late night shopping. I never win and it's usually so busy that you can't get a seat! The only reason I didn't give five stars is because to get to the bathrooms you feel like you're about to walk either into the kitchen or into someone's bedroom and usually have to rub a cardboard box gauntlet just to pee!
Ordered the stir fried pork, sweet and sour whole barramundi and pan fried seafood dumplings. The place was buzzing with people and a huge line to be seated and line to order as well, food was on a high note and service wasn't bad considering how incredibly busy they were it was still good 👌
Lovely food, great service, everything fresh, great prices. I love this local restaurant! We return here all the time. I recommend this place to anyone wanting a great tasty meal
the food is well worth trying they have a great rang of dishes . and i have eaten here numerous times . i have take family members and alot of my friends here and they have all said the same thing . it is one of the best asian restaurants they have been to . the serves here is fast and the staff are very friendly and always smiling . i would rate it well above other restaurants i have eaten at . and will continue to frequent this restaurant
Probably one of the better fried rice we had. We also ordered full barramundi which was delicious. I thought the ambience is pretty good. The service could be improved on, no point having 3 staff to stand there and do nothing while you have to fill the paper at the table to insert number and prepay at the counter to get the food. Putting that aside we will definitely go again.
Best dumplings in Werribee. Thai fried rice is also nice but would be better with smaller prawns instead of just 3 large ones. Staff are always attentive and super quick!
Recently had dinner here with a group of friends. Staff were amazing, particularly Vincent who was super great with out little ones. The food was wonderful, and the dumplings are to die for. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.
Tips:
- They ran out of most spirits, so while we ordered and paid for cocktails, we were provided with whatever mocktails their could whip up instead.
- I don't think they actually reserved a table, but this worked in our favor when we asked for a table outside.
- Sit outside, the acoustics inside will guarantee you a bit of a headache if you go on a busy night.
I will be back again, for sure, but I won't expect to order anything more flashy than a house wine.
Hard to please my chef partner, however this place did not disappoint. Food was much better than any we have had in a restaurant for a awhile. Partner advises his BBQ Pork Ribs were worth any 40 minute drive, (Apparently almost as good his own!)
Honey chicken and popcorn chicken were both great, not greasy nor meat fatty, and cooked/seasoned to perfection.
Dumplings were some of the best we have had outside CBD. So good, we bought some home to share.
Though a tad loud and hot inside which triggered disability, as soon as the serving staff was aware, they looked after us and placed us on an outside table. Rearranging chairs etc while entertaining the two youngsters with us (2 and 4yrs). Everyone was pleasant and too happy to accommodate! Not only does it look like we are returning- but would also recommend to our chef friends.
