Review Nando's - Werribee

My Wife and i love nandos, we arnt super crazy about it but we do love a night tasty chicken. This is the first tike at this venue even though we have been living in the area for almost 8 years! We were placed on a table and requested to order via the app, you can do this via the counter if you like although we thought it would be seemless. So i ordered a ‘All in burger’ with chips and a drink, and the wife got a half chicken and some rice. After 30 minutes we received her rice with my burger. We love to eat togather so we waited another 20 minutes to then still not received our full meal. No drinks, nothings just half of my meal and half of hers. Upon asking we were told that the orders just come grouped togather (as in the kitchen gets a list of things to make and they just make it) they dont make it togather or give it to you together. I don’t understand how and why you would do this. An order comes in, would you not group the order together and give it out together? We kindly asked for a replacement meal and they were happy to as ours went cold although the replacement had a far smaller chicken piece and no red onion.. I’ve given you three stars because we still left with full tummy’s and it was a decent meal. Next time we come, if its better then this time you will get you 4th. Thank you for having us.

If you’re sharing recommend 2 of 1/4 each of your favourite part of the chicken, with a side of salad and peri peri fries to share. You can also order a pita 🥙 chicken wrap each, as an extra side. Finish off with a take away chocolate mousse for later!

One star is not even worth it I am so disappointed with the service we had today. So what happened was we did an order online at 5pm and we gonna go pick up at 6:30pm payment was done and we did receive an email saying that the order has been confirm but when we went to pick up our food at our big surprise the shop was closed since 4:30pm. Now I have to go chase for a refund. What I don't understand is why would you give optional time to pick up your food when the shop is actually close. We used to love Nando's so much but it's not the first time that we been very disappointed with Nando's 🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡

Haven't been here for a couple of years, so decided to try it again. Was pleasantly surprised at the expanded menu, including many vegetarian offerings. Food service was friendly, food was good. Only thing didn't like was that we had to download an app, sign up, etc. in order to place your order (can't just order at counter or have someone come to your table). Took me about ten minutes to sign up, but then my wife and son were looking at Nando's website to see what they might order, and some of the things on the website weren't available at this particular restaurant. Once past the app, signing up, and all, the food was good. I guess the sign up stuff is a one off, so hopefully next time will be a fuller, more pleasurable experience.

The food was okay, but the staff asked us to order online and said we are only allowed to take order submitted online few people came after us and they were taking taking other people's orders on counter. We didn't liked this behaviour.

The food tastes awesome. However, I ordered extra hot but the additional sauce packs were provided mild not hot or extra hot. It was a takeaway order. However, there had no cutlery included in the box.

Worse Nando's customer service experience so far. Manager single handedly is responsible for this achievement. On Sunday evening ordered some dinner for quests and it was 1 hour wait for the pickup. Got there 5 mins before time and asked the manager for my order. Manager seemed least interested to answer any questions to start with but after awkward silence he responded 10- 15 mins wait. The whole time he was looking away and didn't even look towards me until I showed him my phone that gave me pickup time of 8 pm. No apology, no respect from manager just ruins the whole Nandos experience. Customer does understand when restaurants gets busy (while I was here, the place was half empty), but the staff specially manager needs to understand that there is nothing wrong with a smile and being courteous. When asked again after some wait, he had same attitude but wait time was 15-20 mins now. Got food after 1.5 hours.

Great ambience, good location, service a bit slow but that's expected from Nando's. Polite and friendly staff, had a great time and a great and filling lunch!

I am a Nandos regular and enjoying their large chicken since many years now. Earlier I used to always get my meal from Nandos port melbourne and cnt escape to say chicken always felt fresh juicy and saucy. Since the time I have started picking my meal from Nandos wereibee, I am disappointed more every time. Especially last night my meal purscahsed from their outlet, chicken looked stale, dry like rubber, not chewable. I could not even complete the whole and unwillingly had to throw away. Seriouslly the quality was too bad. Never xperienced this at any other Nandos.

Never ever trust this business. They are so unprofessional you can't believe that. We placed online order on Easter Friday night after checking their working hours. Order went successful and money was taken out of my account. We got a call later that they are closed early and unable to process the order buy money was taken and not refunded. We brought this into their notice by contacting Nando's via Email. They said sorry and further told that we would get refund of our payment in 2-3 working days. It's been 10 days so far without any refund. It looks like I lost my money for nothing. No food no money just ripped off.

The food was fine but the cleanliness was pretty bad... There was uncleared tables full of plates and chicken bones which looked disgusting 😐 it took them a good half an hour to come over to clean it all up 👎 service wasn't that great either.

the tables were sticky and there were plates on the floor that had food on them. it took 45 mins to cook half a chicken and some chips<br/>i will never go there again

Poor services, poor Standard of food, sticky tables and store is always dirty. This use to be my last option for food, but now I won't even go there for free

No chicken at nandos. We were really looking forward to have yummy nandos chicken, but the time we reach there the staff said they have no chicken left. Thats somthing very weird. They should change their logo.<br/>Place was not clean aswell.<br/>There were just two people in staff, they took ages to take order but just a second to deny it.

Horrible service! The Girl .... Horrible service!<br/>The Girl taking the orders was incredibly rude. I was waiting half an hour for a regular classic burger meal in a practically empty restaurant. <br/>No apology for the wait and she pretty much threw my food at me aswell. <br/>Will not be returning here... Worst customer service experience I've had.

I think it has changed hands. Menu has changed too. No wings. Used to like it but over it now. Only good thing is that is is right next door to Cold Rock.

The food.... Obviously standard due to it being a franchise. The service however..... Shithouse!! Some moron with the personality of a brick, obviously didn't want to be there. 3/5

Same owner as plaza. Nandos is nando's

Although there is not much to say about the overall quality of nando's (not as good as Oporto though) this store in Watton St is my least favourite out of the others stores- Werribee plaza and Point Cook. I just find there food not as vibrant as other Nando stores.
