Review Savanas Restaurant - Wetherill Park

mid restaurant. firstly, when we booked i asked for inside seating but ended up getting allocated by staff outside. second, as i ordered the medium rare stake- i got a dry well done. don’t get me wrong waiting time was fine. front of house waitress were great and welcoming no question. thirdly, i would suggest live music but since spacing wise - at least give the people music to listen to for the dining mood.

Such great service here and wonderful food. Good for a drink with the girls out on the terrace or a family meal inside. Has all the family favourites and some nice cocktails for the adults.

The service was amazing 🥰 and the food was delicious divine and delightful. Definitely a must go to restaurant, Weatherill Park, Stockland. Even in winter ❄️, U didn't feel cold. Heating systems in the outside deck.

Excellent customer service. Fast service during lunch time and the food quality was great. Extensive menu with comfortable seating. Parking located just outside.

Absolutely amazing food. Excellent coffee. Pesto pasta was outstanding. Service is great and friendly. The family having a celebration seemed to be having the time of their lives, which made the atmosphere very fun.

Food is decent and they have pretty good servings. However, the dining experience was not great. The waitresses spoke amongst themselves much longer than they attended to our table. In saying this, when they did serve us they were pleasant. It would have been ideal if they just attended to customers a little more.

What can I say other Thank you. All my daughter wanted for her 16th birthday was s seafood platter with crab,after an hour ringing around no restraunt had the seafood platter with crab on the menu.that included Savanas, but the staff made it happen and they went out of their way to accommodate. Thank you to the staff for the great service and food.

Went there for Valentines. Service was good. Food was good also. Didn't have to wait ages for our orders. Really enjoyed it!

The food was really good and cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and they aimed to please. I would definitely recommend Savanas at Stocklands, Wetherill Park.

Greats service, team went out of their way to make our special order with writing on it unlike Amorettis who blantaly rejected it saying the “chef was to busy to write a message on the dish” the waitress was fantastic, very friendly and efficient :)

Had dinner there with the mrs. The new decor is warm and modern. The food was good and the service was prompt and courteous. Only constructive criticism I would offer is to serve the gnocchi pesto in a warm plate so it doesn't go cold, but it was very tasty.

Food was fabulous but waitress got two orders incorrect and one simply wasn't recorded (although she did bring the same meal back three times telling us it was ours). Sadly, three people ate long after the rest had finished. Asked for the Muzak to be turned off as the noise level was already horrendous. Apparently, they cant turn it off. The new tin ceiling was spectacular but amplified the sound inside terribly. Needs either more air con or open windows to get a breeze of some sort, we were sliding off our seats in sweat. Would go back but not on a hot day, but would sit outside - traffic noise would have to be quieter

The service was efficient and the food was very delicious! Wouldn't hesitate to eat here again. The belgian waffles were to die for!!

Quiet night, came in same time as other people. Sat down at the table no one came and spoke to us to ask if we wanted any drinks in the meantime the people that came in the same time as had been served drinks and had their mains before we were asked if we wanted drinks. That’s a bit disappointing. Didn’t enjoy my half scrappy piece of salmon which was obviously stuck to the grill scrapped off because it had dry as fuck over cooked bits of salmon scraps thrown next to the piece of salmon on the plate

Consistently good. Although our waitress was rather dim and needed to be rescued by other staff and helped by others at our table. She was pleasant though. Our food (for a large party) was, as usual, very good.

First time visit, I thought the food was nice however service was ultra slow considering it was lunch time it took forever to bring our food.

Went there with eight adults and three kids, the service was great and everyone's food was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be going back.

Food here is pretty good, its nice to have a fancier dining place around Stocklands and Wetherill Park in general. Good variety of food ranging from your pastas, grill meats like steak, and pizza. The main downside would be its a little pricier and the staff aren't very friendly. Our group visited this place during lunch time and the staff barely came to check in on us or give us some table water. Overall food is good justifying the price, but the service is a little disappointing.

My family and I were invited for a birthday party at this establishment. The food was set order and no A-La-Carte which is understandable as there were more than 40 people there.<br/><br/>The restaurant was set up perfectly and even though there were lots of people present, the staff were constantly bringing out food and drinks.<br/><br/>This was my first timing dining here so I am unsure how the A-La-Carte menu is like however based on the food that we received, the food was great.<br/><br/>On the table we had pizza’s, hot chips, pasta dishes and a few types of salads.<br/><br/>Even though the restaurant was full and there were a lot of kids running around, the staff were extremely friendly and did their best to keep everyone happy with drink orders and top up of meals.<br/><br/>Great restaurant to have a small event at and looking forward to trying their A-La-Carte menu in the near future.

Very pleasantly surprised by Savanas. We visited for dinner, and were seated very quickly. The staff were on the ball from the moment we got there, within 10 minutes we had ordered and been served our drinks, and ordered entrees. <br/><br/>The dishes were served very quickly, the bruschetta was a generous serve and had the perfect amount of topping. We also ordered the salt and pepper calamari which was so tender and very well seasoned. Friends who were dining with us also ordered the flatbread with a trio of dips and the stuffed mushrooms, both of these dishes received fantastic commentary. <br/><br/>Our mains were a Chicken Parmigiana (sans eggplant as hubby hates it), the Lamb a la Savana, and the Seafood Platter. All main dishes were HUGE. Very generous servings, all prepared exceptionally. The Seafood Platter was amazing in presentation and flavour, just delicious. Chicken Parma was so juicy and the Napoletana sauce had an awesomely rich tomato flavour (i.e nothing from a jar). My lamb was just delicious, tender and had a delicious flavour from the grill. <br/><br/>We will be coming back to Savanas, great spot with a friendly outgoing atmosphere.

I am vegan, so I asked the waitress and she promptly told me to get gluten free pasta primavera as the regular pasta contained eggs. I appreciate that she knows and is able to tell me confidently. When it came the pasta was delicious and I really enjoyed it.

We ordered a Tiramisu with Pistachio flavoured gelato, the Tiramisu was not nice at all, it hardly had any flavour of a traditional style nor the modern flavour like other places. The Belgian waffle was also bad! It tasted worse than the Belgian Waffle(expected a home made not some cheap processed product) that we normally buy from Woolworth. The Barramundi was a disaster! 30$ for a piece that was no where near to fresh!!! The normal Bistro can offer much better Barramundi at a much lower price! We wouldn't recommend this place with anyone unless they make improvements on the food, even if its 50% cheaper, there are places that offer much better food!!! We will not be coming back here.

Went here for a function. The arancino was okay. The pasta was alright. Overall the food was average italian or maybe a lil above in some dishes. Can't comment on service as it was a function.

My rating is based on this dish alone, the Ribeye. I won't order anything else. You have to try this ribeye!! It's the best I've ever had. I would have rated a 5, but lost points in price. This ribeye is way overpriced for a Western Sydney location. But well worth it.

With a good menu selection and generous servings, Savanas is definitely good value for money. The food is always well presented and flavoursome. The only downside to this is the somewhat slow service, but other than that staff are friendly and the atmosphere is good.

This place has been here forever but I have only stepped inside once previously and left because I didn't have time to wait around on my short lunch break. Anyhow, just gave it a try for the first time and I was very surprised at firstly how fast food was served considering it's an Italian restaurant. The serves of food was generous and really tasty. They had colouring books and pencils (sharp ones too with all the colours!) for the kids which impressed us! Family friendly place and catered well for children on the menu. I will definitely go back!

Service was great however the food was cold as it came out to me. Slightly disappointed as I imagine the food wouldve been a lot more delicious had it been warm.

Whenever you feel like Italian food after a day of shopping, Savanas is the place to go!<br/><br/>Their pizzas 🍕 are nice and crunchy though the crusts were a bit hard but other than that the chicken was nice and tender, sauce was delish and didnt overpower the meal. At first we were a little apprehensive about this place, given its location and past conversations with people about it BUT it proved us quite wrong. The service was really friendly and quick. We ordered entrees which included a meat board, bruschetta, salad and oysters. Our mains consisted of steaks, aranchini balls, pastas and fish and chips. We all ate our food with no complaints. Pricing wasn't too bad either. Great place for the locals.

Wonderful, friendly atmosphere. Perfect for an early staff Christmas dinner. Food delicious, staff helpful, so a great evening for us all. We sat inside, but the outdoor area looked like a great place to try next time. Would recommend this restaurant as reasonably priced, good food, close to Stockland Mall.

This is a place where groups of people meet up. It's in the old Pizza Hut building at entry to Stockland on piling street. Have visited a number of times over the years. It's never blown me away - it's average but not disappointing. Good spot to catch up

Had a really good dining experience here today for lunch! The waitress was very lovely and our orders came out very quickly! The bruschetta was perfectly crunchy on the sourdough and portions for the mains (we ordered a Chicken Parma and beef lasagne) were very satisfying! Would definitely visit again :)

The fettuccini steak and mushroom pasta is something I can't go past every time I'm at Savanna's. It honestly is divine and different, the steak is mouthwatering and the sauce of the pasta is rich in taste. We also always get the penne Tuscan chicken pasta and we both love it. The sauce is detailed with different herbs and spices, the chicken in it soaks up the sauce and tastes exquisite. <br/><br/>The lunch menu is also one of the best as the chicken pesto pasta with sun-dried tomatoes is delicious and the lamb salad is superb.

We had eaten there before but had pizzas. We chose to have the pasta this time around. It was okay but nothing amazing in my opinion. It may have just been the pasta that I ordered. Always a great feed at Savanas. I often think that the only people who bother to write these reviews are mostly people who have a not so pleasant experience. My family, friends and I go to Savanas quite frequently throughout the year and find it lovely every time. The food is great and the service is just as good. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice place to eat in the area.

Great night at Savanas. First time visit. Nice portions and tasty. Pizza was excellent same as the pasta. Steak was very good to excellent. Food came out at the right time. Service was attentive without being over bearing, the waitresses looked after me and my guests and they made good recommendations. All in all will definitely come back and will recommend. Thank you for a great night out.

A very relaxed and laid back atmosphere with decently priced food and drinks, but with good customer service (their waitresses are always polite and smiling). The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining - but just be aware that there always seems to be quite a lot of smokers at the restaurant. Foodwise, their pasta is average and usually well portioned, but their woodfired pizzas are their best offerings. Overall, its a nice place to go out with friends for a coffee or dinner and I've never had to book.
