Review Hero Sushi - Wetherill Park

Absolutely awsome experience. It was my 1st time having sushi and I actually enjoyed it. Great friendly service and very reasonably priced.

I have been going here for 2 years, and yet there are many days where you go to this Hero Sushi and the atmosphere is amazing, there are many selections on the sushi train, and the sushi has great taste and freshness. However, there are also many days where you go to this Hero Sushi and the atmosphere is neutral, there are few selections on the sushi train, and the taste is disgusting and bland. It’s as if you test your luck and hope that the day is good enough so you can look forward to the restaurant being positive on the day instead of negative, and I really don’t like to stop visiting this place as on positive days their sushi is amazing and you leave with satisfaction. Unfortunately, this has caused me and my family to be completely turned off and no longer visiting this place as a whole, which was a complete letdown as we had hope for this place. If you guys improve and strive to make sure that every single day is positive, it would mean a lot, especially to customers who have been coming to your place for ages.

This place was super expensive. Regular customised ordered sushi end up to be almost $100. Should have a more reasonable pricing for a sushi place like this. Taste was just so so. Not recommend for a revisit.

Always a great place to come for a feed. Good is fresh, can't fault it. I always bring my kids in here and we enjoy the food, so no complaints here!!

We always come to this sushi place and we never have any problems. They must have hired someone new (nothing wrong with that, but clearly no training provided) and the experience as soon as we walked in was really poor. She was impatient and had no customer service skills. We sadly walked out and won’t be back to this place.

Place was ok, not great and not terrible. Reasonable prices but variety and quality of dishes wasn't that great when we went. This may be due to lack of staff for weekday late lunch. Would eat if I had no choice but to eat sushi in Stocklands.

Dispute a continue stream of sushi plates. The options are only slight variations of each other...the size is small and price is not cheap for family of 4. Per head easily $30-40

Not the best but not the worst sushi train you can go to. This place has a strong Korean vibe rather than Japanese, with most of the sushi dishes focused on heavily sauced concoctions dresses with cheese or imitation crab meats that is more in line with Korean sushi. Saddest part is that this place doesn't offer any raw tuna dishes which is a huge shame, the plain nigiri on offer was also very disappointing. It's ok in a jam but I wouldn't come here for if I was specifically looking for a good sushi restaurant

Staff ruined my experience .Aplogised over and over but you still didnt get it right . Have eaten here dozens of times been happy with food and service there are alot of better places around only go to this place when i dont feel like traveling far however my experience this time left me dissapointed ordered my regular items fresh scallops and udon waited 20 minutes did not come after speaking to staff again udons finally came scallops came to but grilled specifically ask for fresh raw not grilled took them away but guess what raw ones never came . Should have made the trip to Sushi Bay at Blacktown they are allot better even though they are a bit pricier worth the trip there instead.

Worst service ever, didnt ask what we would like to drink for starters and then when we ordered simple grilled eel sushi it never came we ended up leaving. Service have not improved with each visit. Sushi on the train was not fresh either.

We always love going here. The food is fresh and the staff are very polite and smile all the time. I love to watch them make the sushi. And like that they wear gloves when making it. See again soon

Great local sushi joint with a wide variety of choices if you’re not looking to travel far and want a quick feed. <br/><br/>Most sushi plates are $3.50 which is an affordable price for decent quality food. However in terms of taste, food was quite mediocre. Wasn’t the best nor the worst sushi I’ve had. <br/>

This sushi spot is usually my go to when it comes to sushi trains. Their prices are very reasonable and there is a variety ranging from chicken, beef, to sashimi. Service was good since it was empty last night and anything that was order came out promptly. Haven't had a bad experience so far so will be returning :)

I have been here several times and each time I throughly enjoy it. As soon as you walk in you can smell all these delicious smells and get warmly greeted by the staff. The sushi is always fresh, delicious & lots of variety. <br/><br/>I love the rainbow roll and the spring rolls.

Not a bad sushi place. Reasonably priced compared to some other sushi places around. Sometimes lacking in variety. Service is usually good enough.

$3.50 flat rate sushi plates! Decent tasting sushi for the area but not a lot of variety available. The last time I visited this restaurant I noticed that there aren't many types of sushi available on display and we would have to order from the menu. Service is okay but staff have been quite forgetful the past few times I've been here.
