Review La Mono Wetherill Park - Wetherill Park

Classic Charcoal Chicken Feed Here! The chicken burger is pretty good as well. It's a shame they had to temporarily close for a while due to extenuating circumstances. Can also recommend getting fried bread (fried Lebanese bread).

This is one of our regular places to eat out at night. The chicken is charcoal cooked and the flavours are amazing. Service is great and it’s conveniently located in the shopping centre.

I had the Mono Mixed BBQ plate for lunch last Saturday (see the pic)... I'm native born Lebanese and I can tell you it was the best I've had in a very, very long time. The three skewers of Shish Kafta, Shish Tawook and Shish Kebab were cooked to perfection -- tender and very delicious. The tabouli - well, mum could have made it! And just the right amount of toum and hummus side dishes and pickles. The stuffed vine leaf was a bonus using only the tender vine leaf - wow. Plus the creative idea of having the meat in an edible, fried leb bread boat... superb! They also managed to remember you always add shish onion to the lamb -- hey, what's not to like? Highly recommended, excellent service even when busy, and will definitely come again, all the way from Telopea! Thanks La Mono team. Michael.

Great customer service from the moment you walk in the door until the time you walk out with your food. The Manager and staff were soo welcoming, I like how the Manager even asked if my husband and I wanted to wait 16min for the fresh chicken? We sure did! I totally recommend this store as the Charcoal Chicken isn't over cooked like El Jannah or Awafi chicken. La Mono chicken is cooked to perfection👌🏼

I am writing this review as I have received a fresh to order roll which has hardly any chicken in it, multiple times. I have previously emailed la mono with pictures to show them the poor quality of their product, unfortunately I cannot upload the picture of my roll compared to my partner’s, which is half the size. To give you an idea, I can fit it between my thumb and index finger with plenty of space. It is not fair to charge $11.50 for bread and lettuce.

Ordered Uber eats family deal incl 2 whole chickens and the lot. Paid $10 to upgrade garlic sauce to large size. When it came it was a tiny 200gram container (not enough for 2 whole chickens guys c’mon). Also, The sauce was probably the worst garlic sauce I’ve had, overly creamy with the faintest garlic flavour. The tabouli for $10 also came in a tiny 200gram container.

We spent $80 on this meal and barely got anything. Not impressed. Nothing beats el jannah

Garlic dip was nice

La Mono Charcoal Chicken and Lebanese Cuisine sells charcoal chicken and a variety of Lebanese dishes including Kafta, Shish kebab and Shish Tawook in a casual dining environment. Dine in and take away available.

We wanted to have a quick hot dinner before a movie so we decided to dine here. We sat down and after deciding what to eat I was going to place an order at the counter when my friend kept telling me that they provide table service. I didn't think there was table service as when we arrived, we weren't acknowledged and no menus were given. I saw a few workers behind the counter with one eating in full view. It wasn't busy as there was only one other couple dining in. Finally someone attended to us and took our order.

We ordered a chicken meal that included half a charcoal chicken, chips, tabouli, pickles, hommus and garlic dip. A couple of bags of Lebanese bread also came with the meal.

The chicken was slightly moist. There wasn't much flavour on the chicken. The chips were golden and crispy. The chips were seasoned nicely but a shame that there wasn't alot. The garlic dip was nice but again not enough. That was the first to go. The tabouli did not look fresh but I figured it was all the lemon juice they used for the salad that affected its appearance as it was too sour for my liking. The pickles were very salty and sour but was nice when combined altogether as a mini wrap. The Lebanese bread was soft and fresh and there was just enough between the two of us.

Verdict: Chicken was okay. Chips and garlic dip was nice. They should consider focusing on attending to tables instead of standing around and eating.

I have taken the family here for dinner a few times, sometimes a bit of a short wait. But the food is totally worth it. Last time we were there I met one of the owners Phil. Wonderful man, courteous and professional. Went back with my wife last night and Phil remembered us and asked how our kids were, even popping by the table a few times to see how our meal was going. All the staff here are great, they really do make for a wonderful experience. If you're ever in the area you really should drop by and if you're not it, it's worth the drive you won't be disappointed. Thank you again Phil for a wonderful night.

Delicious food and great people.. 10 out of 10!
The chicken is really delicious and their wraps.. the garlic dip deserves an award. Must go and visit la mono at wetherill park.

Food definitely below average. I have tried it three times and each time i have been disappointed. There is better middle eastern for sure. Don't try it.

Always get the shish tawook plate at La Mono in Stocklands. For $25.50 (including a can of softdrink) You get a decent portion of chicken in fried bread bowl with hummus, tabouli, pickles and enough garlic to ward of any evil spirits from your pores.

The chicken was juicy and not dry. I haven't tried the other plates yet, they'll be on the cards next.

We were waiting for la mono to open last year as the area was is desperate need of charcoal chicken place and takeaway variety. It has been popular from the start but after giving it a shot twice, the wait has been long for chicken that is crazy bone dry... to the point where we found it hard to eat without a glass of water on standby. The chips, dips and condiments are standard but it was over all very disappointing .

Decent prices for great deals. Chicken here is a bit too sour, other than that, the chicken is not dry, very tender and goes well with their amazing creamy garlic sauce!

This review is for the La Mono Casula store, which isn't up on Zomato yet.
La Mono is close to our house so we tend to eat here very often.

Both the food and service here are outstanding. Waiters are always polite and attentive and the food aside from coming out relatively fast is delicious.

The food offered ranges from charcoal chicken (which seems to be the most popular menu item) to shish tawook, kafta, stuffed vine leaves, falafels alongside many other Lebanese cuisines. The garlic sauce, which always comes with the chicken is not only highly addictive but by far the best garlic sauce we've ever tasted.

I am also a big fan of La Mono's hummus.

Aside from being of good quality, the food is reasonably priced and well worth the money. The restaurant is also always clean and well-lit, making it a constant delight to dine in.

All in all, La Mono Casula is in our opinion the best charcoal chicken available in the area and a spot we highly recommend for a delicious charcoal chicken and Lebanese cuisine fix.

This is our regular place when we want Lebanese food. I have tried quite a few things on the menu but would have to say the mixed plate is the best choice. Big servings and really tasty. The staff are mostly friendly although occasionally there will be waiters who don't know what they are doing.

Expected better but unfortunately the chicken was really dry, I don't know if that was a one off thing or thats just how the chicken is? Would not go here again
I really wanted to love this joint but the chicken and garlic sauce were quite average. Also a bit more pricey compared to other charcoal chicken places.
Gabbys79
Found it quite average - not the worst but not great. Ordered shish tawook plate, chicken comes in a yummy fried bread basket, tabbouli was ok and baba ganoush was tasteless. Chicken bit on dry side. Big serving for $23.

If your looking for a place to have great food this is the place to go.
The service is amazing quick and professional.
The garlic sauce and chicken to die for.
The chicken and meat skewers are amazing.
Fresh food all round with great atmosphere.
This Chicken is the Bomb!
Best tasting stuff I've had. Bit more spark than your normal charcoal chicken joints. I travel from Rouse Hill to get this stuff because it's that good. Staff have always been lovely to me and go out of their way to cater for my allergies. Big 5 Star from me for Chicken & Service.

Without a doubt one of the best Lebanese restaurants i've ever been to. The food is great the service from the staff is great. The chicken just tasted so nice and tender and their selection of side dishes excellent with a lot of options available. I've been there a couple of times already and have taken my friends and family there and they all liked to quality of the food and the service they received from the friendly staff. Definitely recommend it to anyone who likes middle Eastern food and I believe whoever hasn't been here before is missing out!!!!

Fine dining prices for milk Bar food. At Wetherill Park, When the menu says 1/2 chicken you only receive 1/4 chicken.
I ordered the breast and received the wing and after complaining they did not change it and said it was the breast., we all found the chicken was very dry.
As to the rest of the Food it did not taste authentic Lebanese when you are paying $25 you would expect a decent portion the side salad was the portion size on an egg , all our group of 8 were not happy and will not be returning. I would not recommend this place. 2 of the guests have been to the one in Merrylands and say the food is nicer and the portions are generous.

La Mono Wetherill Park. I love this restaurant and it is my favourite lebanese place to eat in Sydney.I attend as many times as I can the waitstaff are very attentive and the food is always fantastic and full of flavour. This place is a must if you have never tried lebanese food.

My Experience dinner at La Mono's Wetherill Park. I would have to say it was the best charcoal chicken I have ever tasted
the baba ghanouj was the best ever, and I have had a few
the salads were amazing...

I had the La mono mix with the Chicken and my son had it with the skewers...

WHAT CAN I SAY MY SON AND I CANT WAIT UNTIL OUR NEXT MEAL THERE...

And where it is located it suits me, as I will be taking a lot of my customers there for lunch,
the relaxed atmosphere will help me close a lot of deals...

SEE YOU SOON LA MONO'S WETHERILL PARK...KEEP UP THE GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE :-)

Good Food doesn't quite make up for attitude.. Went for lunch and was waiting 15 minutes for a chicken roll. When I asked the man at the desk if they would be coming soon, because I had a job to get back to, he seemed quite offended. Next thing I know he's charging us again, for the drinks we had paid for in the beginning of the transaction. Good chicken, poor attitude.

Is this the best Chicken in Sydney?. Well, the short answer is a big yes. Whether you are getting chicken skewers or charcoal chicken, you will not be disappointed. It is always really impressive and no matter how many times you go back there is never anything you can fault. Always cooked to perfection with a marinate that takes your taste buds to places they don't ever want to come back from.

Eating a chicken breast skewer from La Mono's is a rare treat, it can be really easy to get chicken breast skewers that are too dry or lack flavour, however the cooks at La Mono's are always able to cook them to perfection. They are never dry or baron and the way they almost melt in your mouth means this dish will always stand out as an uncompromising hero.

If I was to find fault with the experience it is the fact that their food is so good, you can never just have a little bit, you need to eat more and more until you are so full that you quite literally are bursting at the seams. So if you are going to eat out at La Mono, it may be a good idea to make sure your belt still has a few extra notches on it for after the meal has been devoured.
