Great butchery and an impressive menu of burgers and dine in/ takeaway menu. All the meat cooked or fresh from their attached butchery and you'll have some of the best Aussie Wagyu beef patties going round. Well worth the visit.

One of Sydneys best butchers. Outstanding service with a very friendly and great attitude towards customer service. A massive selection of meats. Plenty of parking and also you can pickup a lunch meal from the kitchen located right inside the store.

It's a butcher selling premium meats and they also have a kitchen there serving up meaty goodness. Burgers, Panini, ribs and catering good they have it all. Limited seating but value for money. They might need to look into a paging system when people ordering food so it's easier to serve and allow people to know when the food is ready if they are sitting outside. #sonofabutcher @asianfoodninja #asianfoodninja

These guys are the biggest legends. Staff are always friendly. Food is always delicious, high quality and made with love. Prices are reasonable. One time they forgot a burger from my order, and without hesitation went above and beyond to make sure I got my burger and a little extra too. My favourite spot for lunch in the area by far.

The wagyu here is the best. So are the large range of snags. The lads working here are top blokes too.

First time trying this place out. Was greeted by Dylan who easily help me decide from their delicious menu. Ordered the ZIO - the butcher’s big uncle with a side of chicken wings. Chips were the best chips I’ve had. Well seasoned. Burger was amazing. Definitely recommended. Fantastic chef and great customer service.

Overall not to bad, chips were excellent, the SOB burger not as nice, first off disappointing wagyu patty I had high expectations for a flavoursome patty considering your fathers shop is next door and is meant to be one of the best, but yet I had an average tasting overdone patty. The burger in general worked, but maybe a little less pickles next time, so overpowering and not to mention freezing cold! Which then basically turned the rest of the burger cold, love the shop layout tho very classy, seating would help I had to eat in my car but I understand you are a takeaway, but the chips were fantastic and would return to try another burger purely because I know if order chips I won't be let down by something lol. I'm sure in time you will get there!

One of the best burgers i have eaten in a while! The potatoe chips were very tasty and fresh. Definitely be going back.

I visited son of a burger with my family today i ask for 5 burgers in total with 3 which were kids burgers the staff were more than happy to make the kids burgers for me which i had requested very happy with the service.

Very interesting burgers! You could totally tell that the meat had their own unique flavour to it. Chips were very interesting. The shop front is absolutely delightful. Excellent service. Worth a trip if you aren't fortunate enough to be local!

Massive range of meat cuts, but definitely on the pricy side. I tried three different types of pork sausages and they all tasted the same to me. The flavour of each of them wasn’t that discernible either which was disappointing ☹️ One of the sausages had huge chunks of fat that weren’t incorporated into the more leaner parts of the meat during the grind process and produced a bit of a strange and rubbery mouthfeel.

How apt that Son of a Butcher is located right next to a butcher!<br/><br/>A casual dining experience in the heart of Wetherill Park where the burgers are named after each family member and you can load up your plate with some bomb as sides. I was lucky enough to photograph the ZIO burger ($14), WOB burger ($13), half rack of ribs ($8) and sweet potato fries ($7). Of the four items, I only tried the WOB and the sweet potato fries.<br/><br/>The WOB (Wife of a Butcher) features fried buttermilk crispy chicken with lettuce, bacon and honey mustard. Absolutely loved the crispiness of the chicken and was impressed with how generously big the burger was. Honey mustard really does makes the world a better place so was the perfect sauce for the WOB burger.<br/><br/>The sweet potato fries were a gorgeous orange colour and looked freshly cut and fried. On the menu they were supposed to be served with aioli but mine seemed to be missing. Also, I wasn't sure that there was actually rosemary salt on the chips and unfortunately they were quite underseasoned.<br/><br/>Overall not a bad dining experience and I do appreciate the meat patties being sourced direct from the butcher. Beef patty in the burger was a little too salty for my liking but with everything else in it, the burger flavours really came together. Keen to try out some for their other items next time.

Well it certainly didn't start off well. One staff member was chatting with a guy and the other two ignored us. I wanted to just leave but my friend decided to get their attention and get their order. I think there was a mumbled apology but honestly around here you expect to get told something. We're not overseas... anyway we got some beef and some chicken rolls. To make the experience worse they got the order wrong and my meat was undercooked. Honestly I will buy from the meat side but never again from the food side. Please treat your customers equally and with a bit more care.

Good hearty and delicious food! Recommend their SOS Snag was absolutely delicious with caramelised onion. Their bread always goes very well with your meat of choice. Always prompt and friendly with service!
