Review Blue Star Cafe - Wetherill Park

Great coffee and the senior staff was so friendly, person at the counter not so much.

Blue Star Cafe located in Weatherill Parks Stockland shopping mall was a pleasant yummy experience! Seated straight away at a table with a comfy lounge on one side and chairs the other! Lots of drinks, fresh juices, milkshakes, smoothies and coffee to choose from! The lemon lime bitters and fresh watermelon juice was very tasty and refreshing! The eggs Benedict with salmon was cooked well and had nice presentation! The chicken burger with fries very tasty! The service was good and quick! Food and drink came out quickly! A nice ambiance inside and outside the cafe! Lots of natural lighting and tall ceilings! Would love to try other food and drinks on the menu! Lots of parking available in the centre! They delivered 2 drinks to our table which were meant for another table, they let us keep them which was nice! Not too expensive either!!

Tried to sit for lunch didn't happen. Looks like new owners. Bacon has been switched to beef strips. The waiter was dressed in a suit. Table service was non existent we waiting more than 10 min with 2 kids. That's hell on its own. I flagged down a waitress who was clearing the table she went inside and came back with a note pad and a pen that didn't work. Went to get a pen and after over 5min didn't come back. The waiter who brought the menu spent this whole time inside on a mobile phone and walking around not paying attention to patrons outside. Ended up just leaving.

A good place for a quiet brekkie catch up with a friend or lunch with family. The 'Big Breakfast' is worth a try. Fresh, filling and full of flavour!

This was the worst dining experience I have ever had! My friend and I came in there to grab some 'lunch' and were pretty happy about the cheap prices shown on the menu, but you shouldn't let that fool you. The first waitress to take our order was ok but when another waiter brought us our entree, there was no cutlery or plates to eat it on. When my friend went to ask if he could bring some for us he rolled his eyes and repeated it back to us in a fairly aggressive way. The food came way to quickly. Within ten minutes of sitting down we had the garlic bread, chips and two pastas we had ordered, indicating that they had most likely been sitting out or microwave prepared. The food was absolutely disgusting! The pasta tasted like it had come from an SPC spaghetti tin and the sauce was feral. The customer service was also horrid, with the waitresses acting in the most unprofessional way. They were walking around the restaurant eating, others were talking, gossiping and laughing really loudly and two of them started dancing. It's common sense to see when your employees are unprofessional and when you have 4-5 waitresses on for only three customers that is a big problem business wise. When my friend and I went up to pay we were charged $46.60 (though the food wasn't even worth 50 cents), we had cash and I just had to pay another two dollars I was about to pull it out when the waitress said 'oh don't worry about it, trust me'. When your employees are disregarding customers money when they have it, that is an obvious sign that they could care less about their place of employment. There is so many problems with this cafe, the biggest being the food and the customer service.

Nice toasted sandwich for lunch, we sat inside as it was raining but seating is also available outside. It is nice to be able to hear each other speaking unlike the noise in the food courts. Attentive staff and quick service. We will be back.

Poor customer service - Manager rude and did not accept our order was incomplete. When it was returned - we were ignored. After 40 minutes of waiting for our order to be rectified - we realized it had been forgotten...Unbelievable to experience poor service from an established venue. Seems to be under new Management with inexperienced waitresses... and patronizing inferior Management.. Inprovided feedback to Manager however was met with patronizing inferior response.

Came here with a girlfriend on a slow Sunday afternoon ordered a burger and chips and she a salad. Food came quickly was initially impressed at the speedy service. Short lived though as we looked at our food bacon missing from the burger, chips barely cooked hard and stale. And the $15 salad was a piss poor effort from the manager who was cooking the food. My friend left starving after eating every last piece of lettuce on the plate of thrown together scraps. Asked for a discount at the cash register to see the cashier speaking with the manager in the kitchen being screamed at and appearing aggressive. Behaviour from management absolutely abissmal. Made to pay $30+ at full price for the worst meal and service we'd ever received. Called after leaving to speak with management for what I assumed may have been a misunderstanding. Told that I was rude to the server slamming food on the table and throwing the burger bun around? I understand what it's like to work in customer service and knew my server didn't personally make the burger so I was nothing but polite. I simply asked for the bacon that was missing to be added in. I said no need to remake the burger I was fine to slap the bacon on and call it a day. That being said I shouldn't need to send food back. Response from management was nothing short of disgraceful. Do not eat here! Beware. You could pull a better meal out of a trash can for free. Save your money!
