There is not much to say when you find the best fish and chips this side of the black stump. Clean, fresh and outstanding service always!!!! 5 Stars in my book.

Absolutely love this place! They guys are very friendly and they provide good quality fish and chips! It is sort of on the pricey end but I think its worth it! I hope they can provide condiments for free 👀
This fish shop is the best in the area. They have been voted best fish shop on a couple of occasions. The fish is really always delicious, the chips yummy always crisp not soggy and the potato cakes generous. The duo pack is great for about $21, 2 big pieces of flake a huge serve of chips two potato cakes 2 dim sims. We usually ring and order as on a Friday night there is always a crowd. The two guys that own the place are always friendly and helpful. The shop is immaculate no matter what time you go there. Been to several in Glen Waverley but nothing compares to Kingfisher Blue and worth the extra drive for their delicious fish particularly the batter is always crisp and golden. Prices are good for the quality and size of the serves.
Looks just like your average neighbourhood fish and chip shop but the food is quite good and everything tastes fresh. My chips were unsalted so check yours before leaving and having to endure a saltless fry experience. Had around 8 staff bustling around on a Friday night, they are clearly popular.
They are really quite good, but make sure u don't travel too far else your fries will b soggy. The chips are nice and golden and there is nice flavouring on the batter, so that's why they are so popular. On Friday night, make sure u called ahead. They are so busy left and right. I have to wait 15 to 20mins for mine.

Staff are very efficient, quite friendly and welcoming. Place is well ventilated with music in the background.
Ordered the duo pack that comes with 2 flake, potato cake, dimsims and chips. Packs are wrapped in the typical butchers paper. Crispy chips lightly salted, potato cakes have a thick batter
Food 11/10. Service and ownership 5/10.

In 2017, this place was voted the number 1 Fish and Chip shop in Victoria and also voted number 1 in Australia in 2010! It's fair to say, we had to visit this place. We went all out ordering burgers, a seafood platter and a normal fish and chips. All meals were perfectly cooked and super delicious! We can see why Victoria and Australia have been getting behind these guys! Will definitely recommend this place to our friends.
I moved into the area a couple of yrs ago and have been coming here alot, as its the best chip shop around.
Never had a problem with the food and staff.
The place is very clean also.
I have tried chip shops in neighboring suburbs and always regret it and head back to Wheelers Hill.
Typically fish & chips shop, and yes we like them! I have always the veggie burger, which is really good and my partner the fish & potato cakes, which are really nice. A good place for Friday take away.
Good local fish n chips shop in the heart of Wheelers Hill. Clean store, friendly service and delish food. The only thing is everytime i ask for extra salt on my chips, it is forgotten!

Amazing fish n chips. It was voted as the best in Australia and I can see why. Excellent burgers, steak sandwiches, chips, flake the whole lot. The flake had this unique taste to it.
I am happy to travel a bit to get good fish n chips.
Just recently moved to the area and was told this was the place to go for the best fish and chips. Food was great, the family really enjoyed it. Clean place too. Defiantly going back there :)

Bloody Good. I rarely use urban spoon, and didn't have an account. But geez i noticed all the negative June reviews (mostly single one off posters, suss?) and thought i'd put forward my wife and I's thoughts.
I think the chips are some of the best around, and after moving from Wheelers to FTG we still can't find better. Luckily I work in Mulgrave and once a week ring ahead (a necessity on Fri & Sat nights ) and pick up on the way home. Never had any messed up orders in person or via the phone in 5 years.
Great flake and Schnnitzel burger with lot. Souva is pretty pretty good.
The place is clean as a whistle. Food is prepared well, they are well organised for the volume they get.
Smiles are free, no one that works there is aware of this for a strange reason. The worst offender is the poor owner who was shot in the robbery attempt a few years back.
But we have never felt "uncomfortable" like some of the drama queen 1 post wonders on here. Regardless we still go. And they aren't expensive IMHO.
