Me and my husband enjoyed the samosa Chaat at Tandoori Guru. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so good and they hold the traditional and cultural items in the restaurant. I specifically like the greenery, open kitchen and the way they treat the customer with full respect. I really appreciate head chef who is very nice and all the time make fun, feel like you are at home. The front as well as the kitchen staff is very nice, cooperative, supportive, and energetic.

Definitely best Indian restaurant not only in whyalla but all over south Australia. True Indian authentic food. Food is scrumptious, quality of ingredients is very fresh. Ambience is quite good with great hygiene all over. Daily go to for dine in or takeaway in whyalla. Been coming here regularly for work and eat here everyday. Staff is friendly and they litsen to your needs. Had this custom request and chef was a game to do it for me in very peak time. Go for it!! Your appetite will thank you later!!

We were travelling through Whyalla and felt like a bit of Indian food. Tandoori guru was getting good reviews and the sign outside proclaimed it to be "The curry capital of Australia" so we decided to give it a try. Well, it was some of the better Indian food I have tried in Australia. We had the Madras beef, butter chicken and vegetable korma accompanied by basmati rice and garlic naan. The rice was fluffy and the curries very flavourful and served quickly. The restaurant was quite busy for a Tuesday night but they still seemed to manage the in-house patrons as well as takeout orders well. The kitchen, viewed through a glass window was clean, bustling and the staff seemed happy. It is obvious they take pride in their food. Thanks for a enjoyable meal.

Best Indian Restaurant in Whyalla, awesome place to eat Delicious Indian food. Food Menu is very much mouth-watering. I usually order Chicken Tikka mostly. I love the flavour and tasty spices in which it is cooked. Best Chicken Tikka ever . The cultural set up of the restaurant is awesome. Staff is also very cooperative, friendly and well managed. I would recommend everyone to visit in and enjoy Best Indian cuisine.

I visited Tandoori Guru last Thursday, 16 June '22 and what a wonderful experience it was - everything was just perfect - the layout and design of the restaurant was well thought out and very inviting - As well as being spotlessly clean - The staff were very friendly , helpful and prompt and the food was fairly priced, delicious and with generous portion sizes -and to my surprise - when the staff member bought my plate and cutlery to my table about 5 minutes before my meal arrived - the plate had been warmed - It's these little details that show you are in a quality restaurant Don't hesitate - one of the best Indian Restaurant experiences I have ever had - 11/10
