Review Kodama Coffee - Williamstown

Dawn Hendrick
Great coffee (although could have been hotter) and delicious jam doughnut. The cinnamon swirl tasted pretty good too I am told!
Paul Azad
Great coffee, and very good breakfast. But don't come in the morning peak I'd your in a hurry as there was a constant stream of locals coming to grab a coffee

Lovely spot for breakfast/ brunch. Food and their coffee is good. The staff are SO patient. I witnessed a few people with Karen attributes and they dealt with these with grace. I commend the staff!

Beautiful outdoors area where you can bring dogs šŸ•. Food was good and so was coffee! Shame they stopped doing "hollandaise" sauce as a side as it goes really well with salmon and eggs. Busy Cafe but staff was very attentive.
Bronson Blackmore
Great cafe with a cool vibe. Always busy but service never disappoints. Had poached eggs on toast, simple but tasty. Check it out, you'll love it.

Excellent coffee, friendly service and delicious food. Came across this place a couple of months ago when I was Wā€™Town and decided to come back today for a quick breakfast and coffee. Their menu is simple but food is cooked to perfection. Hubby enjoyed his Margerita Cheese Melt Toast with Sujuk sausage and I requested an off the menu item ā€œfried egg sourdough sandwichā€ which they gladly accommodated. Definitely recommend this place.

Enjoy coming to this cafe, it's popular with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Good coffee, good food and well presented. The avo smash is good, however for the price would expect to be served with two poached eggs. Extras are $4.90. It's a little pricey. But good food and vibes.

Great food with fresh and tasty ingredients. The menu is a creative interpretation of many cafe favourites. Food looks good and is presented beautifully. Staff are friendly and helpful. Sit inside or out. Walking distance from North Williamstown station.

With a coffee addiction that can be relentless and a survivor of so many substandard coffees in Williamstown - I was shocked at finding a place that has the best long black coffees in Williamstown. Consistently brilliant. Of course , I simply can't resist ordering a long black coffee & Big Willi breakfast while giggling. And the food is great
Luke Williams
I never thought I would see the day, but I got the best coffee and the best burger in the west...from the same place!! Unbelievable!!
Amanda Shallard
After walking past this place every time Iā€™m rushing to work, I finally had the chance to stop and try it out! Why did it take me so long?? I ordered the super salad and my friend ordered the big willi.... both of us were in heaven!! Sooo good!! We will definately be back again!

Picked up the quinoa salad as a take away, WOW!!!!!! Very generous serving, so delicious and filing! Kodama never disappointing! Serving was very filling for 2 of us. Perfection all the way.Yummy Yummy!!!! Love this place. xx

Great food, service and atmosphere !! I left my sun glasses on the table, and the waitress chased after me down the street to give me my glasses :)
Amelia Mascaro
Have been to many cafes in Williamstown. This is one of the best. The coffee was not burnt, the service was amazing and the food was delightful.

Cute busy little place. Staff, food, venue, vibe were all so good. The superfood salad was amazing. Got a rosti added and that was underwhelming but everything else was good.
1 unisex toilet

The food was delicious, the service was a bit of a let down. We felt like the waiters didnā€™t want to be there and could be a bit more friendly and more customer focused.
Einas
Yes, usually I wax poetic, but considering Iā€™m planning to eat here for the third weekend in a row... That should be enough.

This is a great little spot on the corner block of inner Williamstown.
From the ambience, to staff and of course the food, Kodama Coffee have settled into their space perfectly.
The menu is a range of healthy and hearty options, with their creative spin on the dishes.
Serving Axil coffee, Hh Healthy Humans beverages and their own cold brew RTDs, theyā€™ve got that covered.
After a few visits youā€™ll get to know your favourites, and the sautĆ©ed mushrooms, pumpkin purĆ©e, crispy smoked provolone (an absolutely oozing delight!), white truffle oil, poached egg, with hazelnut crumbs on brioche is a must.
Only one word to sum it up...
ā€˜OishÄ«ā€™

Great coffee, food, and service.

Been here multiple times, and actually didnā€™t plan on visiting on this occasion, was going to try a cafe weā€™ve never been to within walking distance. However we were yelled at from the kitchen of the other cafe because the staff wasnā€™t even at front of house, so they were yelling for us to sit down. Anyway we ended up here.

The quality is always the same, if not better than the previous time. Enjoyed the breakfast board which came with a fried rosti, avo on sourdough, and granola with yogurt and yummy poached pear.

The pulled pork Benedict was also delicious.

One of my go to cafeā€™s when I am in the area, will definitely still choose to come here next time :)

5/5 for Kodama! Decided to go for a drive to Williamstown so ofcourse had to find a nice cafe for lunch and this definitely hit the spot. The ambience is lovely and bright, with modern decor. Staff are friendly and welcoming.Ā

I ordered the Smashed Avo which was divine. The edamame and tumeric cauliflower made this a little bit more unique to other smashed avo's and the flavours worked so well together. The dish was beautifully presented too.

My partner had the Chilli Scrambled Eggs with bacon. He said it was the best chilli scramble he's had in Melbourne!

This will definitely be the only cafe we'll go to when in Williamstown as I'm just too excited to try everything else on the menu, especially the stick toffee hotcake!

Offering up fabulous coffee and amazing food to patrons in Williamstown; Kodama is a cafe that gets everything right. Not only does it have a fantastic location in this beautiful suburb, but it really has a lovely vibe. A light and modern interior is split into two sections, and there is also seating outside for those who like the outdoors. Seating is comfortable and there is a buzzing atmosphere that comes with having a full house.

Being a lovely day we decided to try their own bottled iced latte, and what a great choice that was. Liquid gold, and so creamy; with a great hit of caffeine. Their cappuccinos also hit the spot. The coffee here is on point.

Eggs Benny are served on fantastic toasted sourdough with a sweet but spicy pulled pork, perfectly poached eggs and the addition of a roasted pepper. So delicious with great contrasting flavours that really work, especially with the gorgeous hollondaise sauce.

The sticky date hotcake was essentially a sticky date pudding, but I'm not complaining when you can have dessert for brunch! The pudding itself was so comforting with that great toffee sauce flavour; but the addition of chocolate crumb, fresh fruit, ice cream and a strawberry tuille takes into new territory. The presentation was so pretty, and the taste sublime. A very thoughtful dish that is quite different to the usual cafe fare.

The staff at Kodama are genuinely lovely, and really happy to be serving their customers. You can feel the happy and friendly vibe around you, and it's this comfortable feeling and the amazing food that will see us coming back for more.
THE HUNGRY CAT
Great little cafe with excellent coffee. Eggs benny with pulled pork was great. Friendly service. It's a small place so gets a little tight when they're busy but definitely worth a visit if in the area. MEOW!
FOOD TRIP
Kodama Cafe is a simple and airy cafe located in the Williamstown area. Good place to chill out and catch up with friends. Coffees and food are decent. Would recommend if in the area. Beautiful coffee art. Creamy coffee!Ā ā˜…ā˜…ā˜…ā˜†. Refreshing and easy to drink!Ā ā˜…ā˜…ā˜…ā˜†. Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict, Smoked BBQ Sauce, Pickled Pepper, Cabbage Salad and Smoked Chilli Hollandaise $19

Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and great Chai Tea! The scrambled eggs could have done with a little extra flavour, but apart from that thereā€™s nothing to fault! Thanks guys

Probably the best chilli scramble I have ever had, super super tasty! Side of smoked chilli hollandaise as well was prefect. All food we had was great.
Chris
10/10 for quality of product. Staff are friendly and professional. A must-see for those in the area or visiting for the day. Can be tricky finding a table but you're never waiting too long.

Super cute cafe. Friend staff. Food was top notch. I had the breaky board which had avocado toast, potato rosti, granola with yoghurt and poached pear and oj - omg gf had the Kentucky haloumi burger with waffle fries. I actually thought it was chicken it was that delish. Highly recommended - would definitely go again!

The best cafe in Willi by a mile. Service, food, coffee, all amazing all the time. The interior and feel of the space is also really lovely.

Not for people who want to make changes on meal, eg, no feta, they dont do changes on weekends, doesn't matter they are busy or not.

Ordered pancake says will come with seasonal fruits. But it only two kind of fruit, kiwi and passionfruit. I dont eat passionfruit, again they wouldn't make any changes on my meal.

Beef burger with waffle fries and chilli scrambled eggs with parmesan and whipped feta.

Next visit - Possibly, if in Williamstown.

Had an American style Angus beef burger with waffle fries. The burger was good but not one of the best ones that I had. The beef patty was chewy at places, but really liked the flavours. The waffle fries were amazing! The chilli scrambled eggs were really good. Loved the parmesan on the outside and whipped feta on the inside, with a drizzle of chilli oil on the top.
Home to one of the best AƧai Bowls in Melbourne!

Kodama Coffee is located in the absolute centre of Williamstown. Just a short walk from the Williamstown North train station and The Strand (if youā€™re looking for those stunning city views).

Whilst itā€™s a relatively small cafe (with tables out the front and two street facing rooms to dine in), every time Iā€™ve passed Kodama, it seems busy. So I thought it was time to finally visit myself.

Whilst the menu all sounded fantastic, we couldnā€™t go past the AƧai Bowl - and WOW. It was sweet without being too overpowering and topped with fresh fruit and granola. Easily one of the best AƧai Bowls Iā€™ve ever had.. and for someone who has lived on the Gold Coast (Aka AƧai Bowl Heaven) - that is saying something!

We ordered a side of their delicious Peanut Butter which perfectly paired with the meal.

What makes this standout performance even better? The price. Just $15.50 for a decent sized bowl of a flavoursome taste sensation that is the Kodama AƧai Bowl. Itā€™s a big yes from us!

āœ… Friendly Staff
āœ… Great Lighting and Atmosphere
āœ… Good Range of Food within the Menu
āœ… Fantastic Value
āœ… Unforgettable Food

A friend and I decided to go to Scienceworks, so we wanted to check out a local Williamstown brunch spot.

A quick look on Zomato revealed Kodama Coffee and, boy, were we impressed!

Itā€™s a great, small spot right in the middle of the Main Street in Williamstown. There are a few tables inside and a few outside. We managed to grab a table outside since the weather was absolutely stunning.

Menus, water - you know the drill.

I got a coffee. My friend got a cup of tea.

For brunch, my choice was the BBQ Pulled Pork Benedict (with Pickled Pepper, Red Cabbage, Lime Slaw, and Smoked Chilli Hollandaise on Sourdough).

My friend got really excited when he saw the Pavlova Pancakes (with Seasonal Fruit, Mascarpone, Custard, and Meringue) and he added Bacon to it too.

Oh, man! This was the most packed with flavour Benedict Iā€™ve ever had! Yes, itā€™s a strong statement, but this dish was insane! The eggs were so perfectly poached! The smoked chilli hollandaise took this meal to a whole another level. The addition of the pickled pepper was just fantastic. I was impressed!!

Sadly, as my friend pulled his Pavlova Pancakes towards him, some of the merengue collapsed, hence the photo doesnā€™t look that great, but letā€™s just say that, as it was arriving, a lady from the table next to us turned around and was like, ā€œOh wow, whatā€™s that?ā€ This was one stunning dish and my friend licked his plate clean!

Coffee was great! Tea was perfect!

We paid exactly $50 for everything, which was fantastic value!

I guess Iā€™ll be going back to Williamstown as I have to have this Benedict again!

Oh, and the service was fantastic!

Went for a walk around Williamstown the other morning and decided to have breakfast here with my fiancĆ©. It was a Sunday morning and the place was packed but luckily we were able to get a table outside. We ordered our coffees and thankfully the waitress knew what a ā€˜magicā€™ was. The beans used by the cafe are from AXIL - my absolute favourite. I ordered the breakfast board and my fiancĆ© ordered the chilli scrambled eggs. They were both so delicious but I have to the say the chilli scrambled eggs were an absolute stand out! I think this will be my regular go-to in Williamstown from now on.
Melb_Belly
Lovely cafe in Williamstown that offers indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are so friendly and service was fast.

We tried the acai bowl and bang bang chicken salad. The acai bowl was delicious, great consistency and good ratio of acai and toppings.

The chicken salad was also good. The chicken was poached perfectly leaving it soft and tender. It was a tad too salty, a touch less dressing and it would of been perfect.

Oh the cold filtered coffee was amazing too.

3.5

Came here on a Sunday morning for a brunch catch up! Situated right by Williamstown beach, so handy for a catch up and walk by the beach afterwards. It was quite lively for a Sunday morning - sure sign of popularity.

šŸ¹ DRINKS: got the Chai teapot, which was actually enough for two. This was mild, but nothing to write home about.

šŸ½ FOOD: ordered the "Bang Bang Chicken Salad" ($18.50) which tasted a lot like a typical Thai salad but also had pineapple, with very few chicken breast pieces. Nice for a taste, but the taste is very distinct and consistent, so I wouldn't go for that again. The "Chilli Scrambled Egg" ($18) with added mushroom ($5) tasted quite yummy though.

šŸ“· AMBIENCE: very clean, modern, fresh - classic Melbournian cafe/brunch feeling, with lots of mirrors and comfortable seating.

šŸ§‚SERVICE: food came out in about 10min, relatively fast and attentive staff but they did seem quite busy.

I probably wouldn't purposely visit again as there are so many places to try, but okay for a convenient coffee/brunch in the area.
Strachan699
My favourite cafe. Friendly staff, food is amazing & the coffee is the best I have had. So many great dishes but my favourite is the superfood salad! This is a must to visit!
StepiiGM
Went there for brunch.. and were seated at the long shared tables. Not liking the seat as they don't have back support, the music was also too loud. Service was okay though. Food was yummy, especially their hash browns - wish I had ordered more šŸ˜†. Servings for the pulled pork benedict was a bit small, so yeah get that hash brown!
Simon Ng
Chilli scrambled eggs with dried onion, coriander, Parmesan and shallots, on sourdough toast. Long black. A small glass of sparkling water to wash it down. The buzz of an early morning in Williamstown. Prompt serviceā€”professional without being saccharine. Perfect.
Cram2481
Best in the west! Friendly service and 5 star food. Coffee is on point too. I ordered the chilli scrambled eggs with tomato on the side, my partner had the acai bowl. Both were spectacular!
Nathalie Buratto
Wonderful place, lovely staff, best service I've had in Melbourne, and super quick. Lots of tantalising menu options. Eggs were poached to perfection and they have some more exciting brunch sides compared to other cafes. Great option for new mums too as the change area is super cute and they even provide nappies.
Stuart
I stumbled across this cafe by chance but how amazing! Everything they do is absolutely top class. The eggs benedict is different and really tasty. The coffee and ambience is world class. Service is also really friendly. Would highly recommend.
Susan Jones
I always enjoy a morning coffee at this gem of a cafe in Willy. Lovely service and very tasty coffee. The poached chicken dish is to die for. And whoever is in charge of the music playlist gets my vote too. Love this place!
Michreviews
Ordered chilli scramble, a healthy bowl of kale+quinoa+beans+beet hummus etc and a long black. The shallots and some chilli oil definitely did enhance the flavour of the scramble. The other bowl of goodness was our inspiration to eat healthily as it taste so amazing- the lime dressing (i think) was so light and tasty. Before I knew it, we finished everything. Environment was pleasant and staffs were friendly :)

Set on the fringe of the main strip in williamstown. Cheerful little place. Good food with a bit of a japanese twist on your regular brekkie options. Decided to go the healthier option with the edamame eggs which were as promised, but wish I'd gone all out on the burger and fries. Great coffee. North facing with a few outdoor tables to catch some weekend sun
Hungry Stanley
Great cafe, food was delicious! Avo on toast was simple but great, superfood salad was the standout. Itā€™s very filling. Coffee was good - lots of varieties. Nice vibe with good music.
Let Laura Eat
Came here for Fatherā€™s Day breakfast. The staff were accommodating when we rocked up with our big pram. Coffee was spot on! Actually it was awesome. Breakfast board with added crispy bacon was the best Iā€™ve had in a while, really filling. Partner chose a few sides & made his own breakfast which he also enjoyed. Would happily make the trip back here.
Krystal Cameron
Lots of potential competition, but easily the best coffee in Williamstown. Iā€™m a barista and this is the only place I trust more than myself to make a coffee the way that I like it. Recommend to all of my friends. The food is also spectacular and always picture-perfect (perf for the ā€˜gram šŸ˜‰)

Loved this little hidden gem in Williamstown! Best chilli scrambled eggs in the town. Kids meals were well portioned and super yummy. Iced coffee was to die and Kids loved their choc milkshakes. Super friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. Def a new favorite!
BecA
My fav local by about a billion miles. The coffee is always perfection. The service familiar, friendly, professional and memorable. The chilli scrambled eggs I literally dream about! Keep it up guys and see you soon!! :)

Came in with a group of 12 adults and 2 toddlers. The team accommodated to us with big smiles and was patient throughout the day. Did not make any mistakes with the orders and we barely felt the wait. I ordered the Superfood salad with smoked salmon, loved the flavours and portion (very much)! Great coffee too. Kudos to the team! Thank you for making it a perfect day for us.

Holy moly mother of breakfast - Kodama has to be my favourite spot so far. Their menu is awesome and full of unique options and the classics with a twist. I had the eggs benny which was served on a flaky croissant. And my god, it was the king of all Bennyā€™s. So much flavour and hits of sweet and savoury, so good. Iā€™ll be back!!
Brunch Diaries
Iā€™d been meaning to try Kodama for quiet sometime. I suppose Iā€™d not been due to the fact that Iā€™d felt so let down by other cafes in the area and had tarred Kodama with the same brush! I was however mistaken. I live in the area and Iā€™m so happy to have found a cafe of this standard nearby. The food is great, the chilli scrambled are up there with the best in Melbourne! The sourdough is of top quality, sourced locally. The service is absolutely top class. Empty coffee cups cleared immediately, fresh drinks offered. Questions about the menu answered perfectly. The staff there also seem really personable and happy. I would say that the panacotta could do with a little less setting agent in It ( I think It was agar agar) but apart from that a great experience. Iā€™ll be back for sure!
The Carbashians
Delicious breakfast, felt that the combination of hollandaise and a croissant tasted a bit buttery and very rich. Other than that. Everything else was faultless. The cafe had a really nice vibe; the lighting was perfect, gave it such a comfortable feel. Could sit inside for hours !!! The mirrored wall was a great use of the space and made Kodama feel a lot bigger than it actually is. Will definitely be returning !!
DuckieLovesToEat
Came here with a couple of my workmates for our long awaited catch up sesh. It was fairly quiet when we got there as it was already around 2pm. The staff were very pleasant. I had the salmon croissant and iced coffee. Both were pleasantly alright.
Don Djoe
This cafe is kind a bit of a hidden gem. Located on a smaller street, we wouldn't normally venture here if not for Zomato. The food tasted great and looked good. They served pretty generous bacon slide and I like how they add fried shallots on the chilli eggs. As for the coffee they are a bit on the weak side but it was nicely frothed. Overall it's an enjoyable experience.

How beautiful is the pana cotta tho??
Lovely brunch at Kodama today, ice latte hit the spot & it was a great relaxed atmosphere. Staff were great especially when us ladies were taking our time chatting rather than ordering.
Presentation of the food is so good & taste is also great.
Alexandra
What a lovely cafe to stumble into on a hot day! Sat down for some lunch and a drink and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered two iced lattes, the chili scrambled eggs and croissant royale. Myself and partner were blown away by how lovely the food was. Sure it looks awesome in the pictures but it really does taste good too. The chili scrambled eggs were the right hit of spice and loaded with plenty of other goodies for little bursts of flavour each bite. Sadly my croissant royale picture has been lost as it does speak for itself. The serving was incredibly generous with two slow cooked eggs (yum!) and LOADS of smoked salmon. Almost enough for two people in itself. The best part about this is when you order and receive your food it's a special moment. It's not a meal you can throw together yourself with what is at home and that makes the whole experience worthwhile.Ā
The drinks were perfect for a super hot day, the coffee dark and bitter which is my personal preference. Looking around at other people ordering their lattes it was good to see actual lattes being served instead of overly frothy cappuccinos in disguise or flat whites. Props to the barista working hard on a hot day and delivering well made coffee. And on that note, the guy who served us was lovely too. He was friendly and able to answer questions, not rushed and greeted everyone who came through the door.Ā
Grabbed an almond croissant on the way out because the selection of treats looked way too good. Seems the are sourced from the Candied Bakery in Spotswood, so always happy to further support local business and glad to see cafes in the inner west doing so.Ā
Really great experience, looking forward to coming back!

Edit: Recently returned for another amazing experience. The haloumi burger and pulled pork eggs benedict were 10/10. Fantastic food and great service.
Melbourne Food Journey
Kodama Coffee is a nice place to hang out in Williamstown with both healthy and more indulgent breakfast/brunch choices. Was impressed by the quality service and the presentation and taste of the food served.
Wing Chan
Their kids menu is my favourite! The waffle, with chocolate sauce, strawberries and marshmallows is great, LOVE the marshmallows! The texture is between chewing gum and normal marshmallows, would be great if I can get it in a bigger serve.
Don't suggest to heat up your croissant here, you will end up having a squashed thin croissant and not crispy anymore.
@thefoodiealgorithm
How amazing is this cosy little cafĆ©. Decor on point and my acai bowl was perfectly presented ( so tasty too ) Definitely returning. Thankyou for a beautiful brunch šŸ‘Œ ps. Staff very friendly..
Michfish
The cafe has really chilled atmosphere, excellent service and great food! The waffle tasted like pancake really nice combo with the beef cheek plus the poached egg, definitely worth a try
Clare
Been here on a number of occasions and it never disappoints. Coffee is yummy, the acai bowl is delicious and their smashed avo is one of the bests I've had (lots of avo)! Highly recommend
Catherine Harris
Great little cafe in a convenient spot in Williamstown. I ordered the salmon croissant with poached eggs and apple cider hollandaise, which was just delicious, what can I say I wanted more! The other half ordered chilli scrambled eggs, which he assured me was "not too hot and good" (that's all I could get out of him). Coffee and chai tea very good, would recommend and will return!
Ninska123
Coffee was great! Ordered the duck soba. It was ok, as I wasn't really expecting a hot & cold dish at the same time. All the salad and noodle components were cold, but the duck was hot when it came out, so it just felt wrong. I normally don't like affogatos for the same reason, so maybe others would enjoy the weird temperature changes in the dish. The flavours were quite light and nothing really stood out, other than the perfectly cooked duck! So if you want a mild flavoured dish, then you can try this. It also came with a lot of soba noodles, so I couldn't finish it all. It's a pricey dish for salad, so I guess they needed to pack the noodles to make it look more substantial. Overall, I still enjoyed the food & coffee and definitely will come back to try out the other dishes.
Leng Con
Bright and Simple fit out, friendly waitress. Coffee was ok but pasta was so terribly bland that my taste buds went flatlined..... ingredients seemed to be boiled and mixed together with the pasta...no garlic, no browning of mushrooms, no taste of butter....disappointing dish.
Tinkamas Dobermanns
A weekend fave for us. Love love love the matcha waffle and kale and quinoa bowl. The coffee has got to be the best in Williamstown and the staff are always welcoming even with our noisy 7 month old.
Samantha
The food is delicious, especially the acai bowls. The chai is perfectly made and the service is always warm and welcoming! I'd also highly recommend the fresh bread and the brownies, just what Williamstown had needed!
Linda Nguyen
A sweet and simple place for sunday breakfast! The venue is spacious and comfortable with modest decor. Staff are prompt and welcoming. The coffee here is great and definitely worth stopping by for takeaway coffee if you live close by. The menu caters well to vegans and vegetarians. My partner ordered the savoury waffles and ox meat which he absolutely loved - he hates toast so the waffles were a delightful alternative, also we are big fans of poached eggs cooked at 63 degrees = extra runny yolk goodness. I love my toast so I had some on the side; i appreciated the use of natural peanut butter that they serve (normally I get given the typical kraft ones that I dislike!). Unfortunately the acai bowl was very average. I'm not a huge fan of them but ive tried many and this one fails to stand out. Overall id definitely come back and try other menu items!
Kiffdcosta
Cute little spot in Williamstown! Went with 2 friends and we loved it! Chai was amazing, and I had the ox tail with poached eggs, hollandaise sauce & green apple on a savory waffle. It was actually so good, just very filling! Would totally recommend coming here tho!
Ruth McMahaon
Great little cafe off the main strip in Williamstown. The poached eggs are a dream as is the side of avocado. The bacon was delicious and crispy which is certainly my preference. Overall the menu has a bit of an Asian-slant which is new and interesting and a welcome change to the eggs benedict ect offered everywhere else.

Being local I come here quite often for the takeaway pastries too although i really wish I could resist. Both the plain and the almond croissants are standouts but there are plenty of other tasty morsels to have a crack at too.

A welcome addition to be area.
Ian Strachan
What a fantastic place, great food, coffee and service. The ox cheeks were stunning and coffee by Axel must be the best in the area. A wonderful addition to Williamstown and a definite must try.
Jay Contor
Brilliant new brunch spot in a fantastic location in Williamstown. A real Gold Coast flavour as one of the owners used to be tied in with some of the Coast's more popular coffee/breaky joints such as Borough Barrista, Paddock Bakery & Canteen Coffee.

Basic but appealing menu, warm young staff and a modern industrial fitout - sensational. Acai bowls aren't really a "thing" down here yet, but that'll change if you frequent this place enough. Could take over the #1 Willy cafe mantle from Crowded House in due course. Highly recommend a visit!
Garth Hugo
Stumbled across this coffee shop and dropped in for a quick brekkie - really great vibe, excellent coffee and breakfast- highly recommend it.
Shaniqua Brown
Such a great addition to the area and much needed! Awesome menu, everyone's meals were beautifully presented and delicious! Staff were friendly and attentive. Look forward to coming back to try some more of the offerings!
Alice
First time been there. Love their decorations, very cute. Coffee came surprisingly quick, staff are very friendly. Had egg with ox cheek, this combination a little bit Heavy, beside that is all good. I Will definitely come back
Adam
Great experience, definitely frequenting this place from now on!

Axil coffee beans (my fav), cold brew coffee, great food as well, kids enjoyed it, great staff who are clearly professionals, great sweet bakery range (from kandied bakery in spotswood), great lighting and space

Great for kids to, big chalkboard with an open vibe, very pleased to see this in Williamstown

And did I mention good food? Awesome
D Budi
Welcome to Willy. Love love love. Finally something new. The coffee was amazing. Menu didn't have much but everything that they had was done really well. Great kids menu. Really enjoyed everything the service was spot on. They had a blackboard for the kids. Clean toilets. Definitely going back.

UPDATE 15/12/16
Came again and it had a amazing toastie on the specials. Please make it permanent.
Breakfast_of_the_champion
Such a trendy little place, serving perfectly smooth coffee- the cold brew and filter were divine. The food was very visually appealing, unique and well made. We ordered the smashed avocado, the braised ox cheek, and the matcha waffles. The flavours in each dish were subtle and beautifully combined. The only reason I cannot rate this place a 5 is the serving sizes of the dishes we ordered. The smashed avocado in particular was shockingly small for $17, in comparison to any other Melbourne avo dish. Fingers crossed this is just a teething problem.. Hopefully Kodama can rectify this issue, as I doubt I'll be the only customer to feel this way.
