Review Lower West Side - Williamstown

So, let me start by saying the only reason I did not give a 5 rating was due to the discrepancy in opening hours between what is listed on the website and what are the real opening times. By the website they're open till 11pm, but actually close at 9pm. This left us a little rushed. Now all the good stuff. Staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient. They showed great flexibility in allowing us to pay separately when ordering to avoid the no split bills on a large table fiasco! The ambience is lovely, warm and inviting, low lit but you can still see what you're eating. Considering the quality of the meals, this is a good thing. The food was excellent. Also a very good wine, beer and spirits selection. Mid range pricing, generous serves without being silly and comfortable surroundings. I highly recommend that you try this place if you want a bit of a upmarket experience without pretence or over pricing. Excellent.

A huge range of wines from all over Australia and around the World, plus amazing sharing, tapas and main dishes make this a must for couples or small groups

Love this place. Great wine list with a good representation of European wines as well as the domestics you would expect. Small plate dining that never really steps out of line and reasonably priced. Always top of my list.

Good wine, great food and nice service. Really liked it a lot. There were many interesting options on the menu. We liked everything we ordered and will need to be back soon for more... Keep up the good work guys.

Lovely staff and atmosphere - good selection of wines, spirits and cocktails. My partner said it was the best carbonara he's ever had, which is saying something considering it's one of his favourite dishes. Well done guys and girls!

If you're looking for a great vibe in Williamstown this is the only place to go. We ordered the 'small' chefs selection cheese and charcuterie platter which was huge! Would recommend it for a big share dinner for 2! Will definitely be back! Also the staff are legends.

Great vibe, friendly and professional service, nice music. The charcuterie and cheese platter is delicious and very reasonably priced. Good, cold craft beer on tap as well as an extensive wine and cocktail list. We'll be back!

Really enjoyed the service , being a novice in the world of wine it's good to go to a place that is cozy and casual. My tip is to sit around the bar and converse with the knowledgable staff. Dope and delicious. Thanks Maria and co

Went for dinner tonight. Great service and delicious vegetarian meals when requested as none on printed menu. Terrific wine list and very friendly and eager to please young staff members. We will definitely be returning, and on a regular basis I suspect.

Had the best time here and I was by myself. The menu was awesome, reasonable prices and the staff were so friendly and helpful as well. A great selection of wine and other alcohol to choose from. I wish I lived nearby as this wine bar would be my local......

We spent Friday night at Lower West Side having walked in without a reservation and the staff were very accomodating. The food was lovely and the atmosphere was great. A top spot in Williamstown! And cool without being pretentious.

Perfect design and atmosphere for the local market. It's what Williamstown has been desiring for a long time. A quality selection of wines (domestic and international) and beer on tap. We tried the small share plates and they were fantastic especially the pop corn prawns. Larger plates looked fantastic as they past our table - going to have the Gnocchi ragu next time we are there which will be really soon. You can sit at the bar, high stool tables or tradition tables in the back. Fantastic. Give it a try.
