Ordered dim sim, fried rice, chicken dumplings, and beef with black bean sauce. It was delicious! More than that though, the staff are absolute champs. I left with a warm fuzzy feeling. 15/10 ♥️ would recommend.

Recently came here for dinner with a friend. Steak with cashews and the cherry lake duck were superb. So tasty. Was rapt that the meals were big in size and big on taste. And when I asked for a slight variation in the food the staff were so accommodating without it seeming a bother. Thank you. Takeaway available. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. You’ll find pretty easy. Close to the beach so a lovely backdrop.

Been here on my wife birthday with the family and friends. One of our friend is celiac so we ask if it was any dish that she can eat, well done to the owner he did make all dishes GF like this she can eat everything we order. Thank you again and we will be back
A flavoursome treat with excellent service. I was greeted with friendly conversation as soon as I walked in the door, and the opening hours are well suited to late-night swimmers at Williamstown Beach.
If you are saying that this place is the best Chinese restaurant in Williamstown, I might agree with you just because Williamstown is really lacking a good Asian food. This place offered one of the best services in a Chinese restaurant, though of course we paid for it. But the actual dishes tasted somehow just okay. The staffs/owners here were super friendly though , so if you are nearby and feel like having a Chinese food, do try this place.
Wednesday night dinner, decided to try a local in Williamstown, excellent service from start to finish, even with a hot towel at the end to wash hands. Food was beautiful, will definitely come here again.
Divine! Every time divine!
I have been here many times
Waiters are pleasant and the owners are lovely
Food is the best Chinese in Williamstown
Owner and host, Frank, is apparently a bit of a local personality. He was friendly, warm, and jovial. He picked straight away that we weren't local as he hadn't seen us before. It was evident from his interaction with other patrons that there are many 'regulars'. Service was pretty quick, even though the place was busy. Prices around $20 a dish; portions reasonable. Food pretty decent, but in my opinion not particularly memorable.
Always reliable. This is "our local Chinese": something you'd probably appreciate culturally if you grew up in the 60s and 70s; or from a culinary perspective if you've had to travel outside major cities and provincial towns like I have. I think Frank, Gwen and staff do a great service to our local community. Food and service is consistently good and the food is always fresh; but if you want to extend your palette then head up to Footscray, North Richmond, or into the CBD. Otherwise, for the last twenty years I probably go to Lion Dance at least eight times a year (they do take extended overseas holidays!) and will keep going back because things don't change much. If you don't see a particular dish on the menu, then ask: the chefs are very creative. Our favorites are Chicken and Cashews, Ginger Scallops, Hotpot, Pork and Beanshoots, or something off the specials menu. BYO wine, get something to drink from Justin in the wine shop next door, or try something off the list.
Good, Good, Good.... Good food, good price, good service... what more can you ask for from a Chinese takeaway on a Saturday night... great Chicken Curry and prawn crackers.
Have been here a lot of times. It's my no 1 choice for Chinese food. Friendly staff it's money we'll spent . Would recommend anyone.
Great, quality food and excellent service to match. Will be going back for sure.
Great local, fantastic service, quality food at a great price, have always loved coming here!
It may not be The Flower Drum, but for a suburban Chinese restaurant it's pretty damn good. Quality food, reasonable prices and good service. Frank, the owner is very attentive, which adds above personal touch. Great for takeaway too.
Great place to eat in or takeaway. I am there weekly.
Surprisingly good. Reliable, fast and consistent. Taste is as expected, steak dish is great
Good suburban restaurant All the tried and tested favourites Service is pleasant and prices are good.
I ordered 'take away' last evening. The Beef in Oyster Sauce was so so tender and just delicious and plenty of it. I also ordered the Salt & Pepper Chicken Ribs and was disappointed, not because they weren't nice but because they were battered and had chilli on them. Not what I expected. All in all a lovey meal and I will be back for more :)
Williamstown is very lucky to have the best Chinese Restaurant in the West of Melbourne, delicious menu with regular and banquet options available, takeaway if dining in isn’t your thing. Friendly staff, and great menu pricing.
Amazing service and food ! Very family friendly !!
We will definitely be back again
The staff were so good with the kids providing magic tricks and toys to play with.
They even came out with a decorated icecream for dads birthday with music l.

We love the area and felt like Chinese food, we read the reviews and drove an hour to dine here. Well we weren’t disappointed, such a lovely warm welcome, fantastic customer service and wonderful food. Best Honey Chicken we have ever tasted. Can’t wait to return. Thank you for the lovely dining experience! :)
I was sceptical first about the "Chinese Australian food" tag but the enthusiastic staff and the long term local customers really make this place works. It is very old school with great atmosphere...it feels like being invited to a Chinese family for dinner. I had a great time with my friends.
Not your traditional Chinese restaurant. Menu has been westernised and you will need to ask if you need chopsticks to just give you a hint on what to expect.
But here, you will find the best customer service, it's a family business and you can tell they love what they do
