We love everything bout this place. Service is excellent, the food is good too. We will be back to try more!

We visited Pier Farm for a Friday Dinner and absolutely loved our visit.
Definitely recommend the Pizza's as they are fantastic and such great value.
We also loved the steak which apparently was due to the chef. A friend who we visited with said that it was 10x better than the last time he visited and had the same dish. We asked and the chef was apparently different.
I'll look forward to returning on a Monday night to enjoy their fantastic Monday Night Deal - $19 for a Pizza and Wine.
I and some colleagues of line made a booking here for a dinner catchup. The staff were nice , the place is quite big and table arrangements caters well for big crowds (18-20), the calamari starter was really nice and the main dish â The WAGYU BRESAOLAâ was very nice too. Overall good food and staff. Tip: with the wine donât expect tasters here, if you order it and itâs open you got to buy the whole bottle. Overall, good restaurant with good food and nice service.
Main meal and entree were delicious, the desserts were a let down
Fabulous ... a very nice segway from the Anchorage days and much more. Atmosphere Food Wine 5 Star World Class ... A million dollar view ... highly recommended
Overall the experience at Pier Farm was good!
The interior was gorgeous, staff very attentive to detail and food was good.
For starters, we the shuckered oysters with raspberry vinaigrette which was very fresh and delicious.
We also ordered the fish of the day and the seafood linguini. We felt the fish of the day was alright as the fish was cooked well but the salad was a miss as it didnât match the fish at all.
The seafood linguini was delicious though.
Overall: 4/5
Pier Farm is a lovely restaurant in Williamstown to go to but it is quite expensive. However the food, service and views make up for it!
4.5. This is one of those ones where you curse the loss of the half mark option. 4.5 would have completely nailed, but 5 is maybe that bit too high and 4 way too low.
Pier Farm is extremely good taking all key indicators into account. The location and space are terrific. The food and wine are almost uniformly excellent. The service is good too. Itâs very close to a perfect restaurant and well worth travelling across town to as we did as part of restaurant week.
Some detail. The restaurant is nicely located on Port Phillip bay. It has excellent inside and outside spaces. The whole place has a good feel and is well fitted out. There is a tremendous view outside of the bay including the shipping channel leading into the port, the adjoining marina and various local seabirds. Itâs enormously restful and even entertaining. We saw lots including huge ships and pleasure craft. Even a pair of black swans swam by at one point. Inside and out this is a very well appointed place.
The food is extremely good. The restaurant had chosen a very good menu for this dinner and they delivered it very well. The canapés were excellent. Three types in all. The best was chargrilled prawn on skewers. The prawn meat was perfectly cooked and was delicious. The paired wine, a Pizzini Prosecco, was a wonderful accompaniment. The entree was mighty good too. Stuffed calamari with a tomato sauce. The calamari ripieni was good and the sauce really flavoursome. The stuffing was the hero. Delicate and subtly flavoured it was a real winner. Again, the wine pairing, a Paringa Estate Pinot Grigio, was really outstanding. This is a beautiful wine and it went so wonderfully with this dish.
Main course was a beauty too. Snapper fillet, asparagus, clams and mussel butter. It came with a lovely salad with a gorgeous zingy dressing. This was matched with a Medhurst Rose, another outstanding choice. The meal was very good. The food wine combination worked superbly again.
Desert was an absolute triumph. It floored our group of four. I cannot ever recall a better cheesecake than this, a lemon and vanilla bean number. Cheesecake rarely excites me. Itâs usually too heavy and the crust too dense in my experience. This cheesecake though was utterly faultless. The cake itself had a beautiful soft creamy texture - it was the opposite of dense - and it was subtly and thrillingly flavoured. The gorgeously flavoured strawberries added to the overall beauty of the dish. The thin base was excellent too. This dish was a 10/10, particularly when served with another great wine, the Yering Station Cane Cut Viognier.
There was so much to love about this food and wine. It was close to the perfect menu. The produce was great. It was treated with considerable respect. The overall beauty of the food came from the restraint in its composition and presentation. Every dish looked good. Every dish had very good flavours that delighted with their subtlty and never overreached. In addition, they donât just really know their food here, they also really know their wines. That was evident from the wine pairings. A quick look at the stored wine around the restaurant showed any number of beautiful and carefully chosen wines, including a number of obscure ones.
Service was generally good throughout the night particularly from some of the younger servers. It wasnât faultless though. A response of â...treat it like a degustationâ, isnât the right response to someone seeking a wine top up. There were several coordination issues too, such as wine being served too far before dishes arrived. These were small issues overall though given the quality of food and wine on offer.
This is a very very good restaurant. A jewel even. Itâs an easy 4.5 out of 5 for me. We had a great night. I recommend Pier Farm highly and would happily return very soon.
I have visited several times and each time the food and service have been consistent and of a high standard. Fresh produce and beautiful Mediterranean flavours. One of my top recommendations if you are eating in Williamstown. Great setting on the water too.
Live down the road but tonight was the first time dining at pier farm. With some of the waterfront restaurants in Williamstown like Sebastianâs or Pelicans your view of the waterfront is really dependent on where you are seated but no matter where you are seated here you get a view of the water. The large windows that rap around the building with bay seating along with the white walls, greenery hanging from the ceilings and gorgeous soft furnishings give you a beautiful interior. My partner and his mother both love to dine near the water and they were both blown away with how beautiful it was.
As soon as you are seated you are given the choice of sparkling or still water and are given some beautiful crusty warm bread with specially sourced butter (very tasty). There was a good selection of wine, beer and cocktails and the staff made sure that as soon as your glass was empty they came to offer you another drink.
The staff were all attentive and you can see they pride themselves on providing top notch service. The star for me was George who I believe was in charge of the front of house. You could see him keeping an eye on everything and took service to a fine dining level. The way he described each of the nights specials to us was amazing and it made you want to order everything. He was able to tell you where the produce was sourced and how each component of the dish is prepared. I have been to Michelin star restaurants where staff were not on his level. To top it off he was very witty and hand us all laughing. The service and setting definitely 5 âïž.
Now the food....all the produce that is used is definitely top quality and you can tell itâs important for Pier Farm to source the best produce. I had the oysters natural with lemon granita. These were by far the best oysters I have ever had both in quality and how the icy granita with lemon and salt were perfectly balanced. I ordered 1/2 a dozen but could have had 2 dozen happily it was that good. My partner had 1 of the specials a blue eye fillet w/ asparagus and vegetables. My partner enjoyed it but said that the veges and asparagus were over cooked. His mother had another special which was a whole grilled salmon w/ grapes and radish. She said the fish was nicely cooked but she was expecting more. We also had a garden salad and fries as sides that were fine. For dessert I had the panacotta that was beautiful. It was served with fresh strawberries, crunchy meringue and some small squares off jelly. The combo of the sweet milky panacotta was perfect with the crunch of the meringue and tartness of the jelly and strawberries.
If I was to rate Pier Farm based off just what I had where everything I had was fantastic and without fault it would be 5 âïž. The food my partner and his mother had was nice other than my partners veges being over cooked but I think that unfortunately the food on the plate did not live up to their expectations. The way the meals were cooked did not exactly live up to how George described them.
The meal was quite expensive but even though some of the meals were just good and nothing great we still really loved our dining experience at Pier Farm. We will definitely be back. My only real advise to make this reach that 5 star level would be to make sure the food served is at the same level as George describes it.
I asked my partner what he would rate it and he said 3 stars based on his meal and 5 based on service and everything else. My rating would be 5 star so have come to 4 stars based on this. Definitely somewhere to go if you have a special occasion or want a romantic dinner. We will be back but I will be very sad if George is not there. Pier Farm need to hold on to him.
Decided on a drive to Willamstown for a late lunch. Caught this restaurant out of the corner of the eye and loved the space as it was right on the water. We had the octopus and calamari to start. Great start to the meal. Octopus was tender, cooked just right with saffron potatoes and a harissa. Calamari was well cooked however the accompanying rocket salad was on the salty side. Mains were the porcini ravioli and the seafood linguine. The ravioli was served with a burnt butter sauce. Linguine had fresh tomatoes which really set it off. Highly recommend both dishes.
Overall, love to come back.

Great seafood, good view with average service
Me and my boyfriend were there for a quick lunch. The restaurant interiors decor resembles a cruise ship which suits with the ocean view.
We ordered 2 dishes which was a baked baby snapper (fish of the day) comes with garden salad; the fish was fresh and well cooked. The second dish was flounder carpaccio; love the verjus dressing and the grapes. The dish was well balanced!! And you can tell that the chef has a very good knifing skills. You can see that each pieces of the fish was equally cut and perfectly thin.
The service was average.
Quite surprised by how good the location and food was, it is a really nice pier restaurant great for function or romantic occasion. Fresh seafood and the pasta was amazing, gnocchi with cherry tomatoes for the win!
We had a reservation for a lovely dinner and ended up having amazing seafood with the most amazing view and service. Definitely need to go here again in the summer!
What a beautiful restaurant, atmosphere and view are amazing, seafood was fresh and beautifully cooked and staff were lovely. Iâll definitely be back!
Imagine sipping a glass of bubbly, sitting at a beautifully set table outside on the deck overlooking the bay, as the sun gently sets over the horizon. Now if thatâs not a romantic setting I donât know what is. Pier Farm is a gorgeous restaurant in Williamstown and the food and wine selection is just as stunning as the venue.
One of the best Mothers Day dinners in many a year. Great food, really pleasing flavours, great winelist and optimum service. What I like especially is the easy parking, no meters, no time limits no grubby parking attendants. This place should be on everyone's list to visit.Â
Ooops now I've given away the secret.Â
Thanks Roberto and wonderful staff.
What a fantastic Mother's Day lunch. Great views, great food, relaxed atmosphere, just an all round lovely experience. Thanks guys, keep up the good work. Williamstown has been waiting for a go to destination like this for ages. Beats what was there before hands down.
Brilliant Location with great views of the bay.
Extensive wine list that allows for wide variety of palettes.
Started with Calamari Fritti and then Main dish of Fillet of John Dory  - which was cooked to perfection. My Partner had warm octopus salad followed by Seafood pasta - and was equally impressed.
Big thanks to the staff at Pier Farm for your attentive service - We wanted a Seafood experience for this years wedding anniversary - and we got one!
ThanksÂ

Long-standing restaurant the Anchorage has given way to Pier Farm after more than 40 years of service. Owner Roberto Scheriani has largely kept The Anchorageâs maritime-themed decor, whilst Matteo Bartaletti (ex-Movida) has created a Mediterranean-influenced menu that showcases seafood, such as the Tuna Carpaccio with Yellow Fin, tomato confit, Melba toast and a salty olive tapenade layered underneath.
Thanks all at Pier Farm for a wonderful wedding reception on Sunday 11th of March 2018. The food and drinks were fantastic as was the ambience. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A highly recommended venue for a wedding.
I was so happy I could make it out to the Pier Farm event in Williamstown after work. I met some wonderful people and the cuisine was just Devine.
The menu was curated specially for the event and paired with matching wines.
The space is open, bright and beachy, reminiscent of the original Malibu Farm.
Having heard that The Anchorage in Williamstown had changed hands and had a new owner, a new name, a new chef & a new menu, I was keen to return to this restaurant - in what is a beautiful and brilliant location - to see how the changes have gone...and I wasn't disappointed on any level. In fact everything's gone up a number of notches to make the experience of dining there special, without being overpriced, fussy or pretentious. The food is superb because the dishes are elegant, not overdone, letting the high-quality produce speak for itself - the rib-eye is a go-to dish. It's a great mix of classic Italian and classic seaside dishes, full of flavour. The service is outstanding, and the wine list is thoughtful and not overwhelming - I had a Chardonnay and a Pinot that were outstanding. Many places change for the sake of change, but this restaurant has changed for good reason, re-establishing itself as a destination restaurant. Get there!
Came here on friday for date night with my husband. Absolutely loved everything about this place, fresh seafood while we watched the ships coming in! The french butter was a thoughtful touch. I had the seafood pasta and it was 10/10. We will definitely be returning!
Love it here- location, food and service cannot be topped. Try the John Dory (see picture) it is to die for and my boyfriends still talking about his rib eye steak. Canât wait to go back.
Amazing location and views. The service was knowledgeable and charming.
Food wise we enjoyed the Scallops, Tuna, Seafood pasta, Lamb Ragu and Rib Eye, with sides of potatoes and fennel salad. Everything was delicious, filled with beautiful fresh flavours. Stand outs were the Rib Eye and Lamb Ragu. Canât wait to go back.
I read some of the reviews by the yokels that rated this place less than 3 and can only say they must be reviewing the wrong place. I've been following them for a number of years and his product is always spot on. Â Since opening, I've now been there with my Mum once, my child once, my husband twice and friends once (5 times in 6 weeks). The food and service never disappoint, especially George, one of the most affable and gentlemanly waiters to ever serve.Â
Congrats, don't let these bogans get you down.Â
PS. I envy those who have a table for New Years Eve and the vantage point they'll enjoy when overlooking the city's fireworks display. Viva.
Went for lunch with some work colleagues. Great location and the food was spot on, only downside was could have offered more drinks as we were there for 4 hours. Would go back
We were having a lovely dinner at Anchorage served by George (attentive and funny) and weâre finishing dessert when the ?new owner sat down with guests on the table next to ours and ruined our experience with his gutter mouth language. His conversation that was easily overheard was completely unprofessional.
Food, service and ambience was amazing for Lunch - great view of the bay and a relaxed atmosphere. Prawn toast is a must for entree. They also have a great selection of wines. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience there.
I like this place, we live locally and have been going for a couple of years now. The setting is splendid and it is so nice to sit out on the large deck area in the warmer months. I have found the food quality has varied over the past two years, when we first went it was amazing, then it just fell off a little. About 3 months ago we ate here and it was good again, hooray! The service is normally really good:) It has a really nice ambience and is a nice place to come for a special night.
I came here a while ago and I was quite impressed with the cozy atmosphere, relaxing view (next to the ocean), knowledgeable service and lovely food. One of these restaurants you go to and you always keep in mind you have to go back to at some point!
Celebrated a special birthday here for lunch today. Firstly the venue was so cozy and warm (on a freezing Melbourne day). Very pretty setting with views of the bay. Next time I'd request a view by the window but rookie mistake. The staff were helpful, professional and low key. And now the food - just delicious. There were many different fish ordered - salmon, hapuka, snapper and flat head. All were cooked to perfection. Each was accompanied by delicious sides No the servings are not huge but when combined with some additional sides (which does make it a little pricey) we were completely satisfied. Quality food plated in an elegant way. Loved it. We shared a chicken liver parfait cone which was interesting. Not sure about the combination of chicken liver with peanut praline. Very interesting flavour indeed. Overall a fantastic experience. Can't wait to return in warmer weather.
Had dinner here last night and it was absolutely amazing. The food was very tasty and fresh. The staffs were attentive. What a beautiful dining experience! We will come back soon.
We have walked or driven past this place many many times and finally decided to pop in for a Sunday lunch to try it out. Â We were not disappointed. Â
First thing that struck us were the staff - all of them VERY friendly and well presented.
The location is beautiful - our table overlooked the water and was right next to the fireplace - very cozy and relaxed. Â
The food was fantastic! Â All three courses we had were beautiful.
Wine selection is excellent - lots of Australian and Italian options.Â
During the meal, the staff continued to be very attentive and very friendly - we even had, what I think were the owners, check in on us for a chat which was really nice touch. Â She even said that next time we come our little dog is most welcome to sit outside on the deck overlooking the marina with us which we will totally do - ideal on a nice warm Sunday afternoon with a wine. Â
All in all a great experience and would recommend to anyone - especially Williamstown and surrounding locals.
Came here for a date night with my lovely wife because she wanted seafood. We were not disappointed, the food was just amazing and the portion sizes were good, wasn't expecting them to be so large plus the service of the wait staff was great. We loved the ambience of the place, the view of the bay outside and the small touches on the tables for decoration just added to the ambience. We will definitely be back!
Pros: Quality of food was as good as the view. Cosy atmosphere. Staff were friendly.
Cons: Menu had a lot to be desired and offered little in terms of imagination. Good view but nothing to make me return
This place ticks all the boxes. Amazing food, Fresh seafood, great service, great views of the bay and great atmosphere. We went down for lunch and had the seafood platter for two and it was so fresh and delicious. Great wine list.
King fish sashimi starter is definitely a MUST TRY, it just melts in your mouth and the comibination of the flavours is just amazing. The place looked very cozy, but outside heaters should definitely be turned up as it was a little chilly today, nevertheless, their food is đđ».
We celebrated the news of our son's engagement here and it was beautiful. The food, wine, service and venue were top notch. I requested a bottle of champagne to be served on our arrival and it was ready and beautifully chilled. The seafood was delicious and prepared expertly. Highly recommended.
A lovely dining experience with friends. Â The location on the water, decor and service couldn't be faulted. Â A table of 10 people and all of our entrees and mains were exquisite. Â A fine dining experience indeed! Â I would highly recommend.
Visted the Anchorage on a Friday night after making a reservation. The outdoor setting overlooking the bay is stunning and makes for an intimate dining experience. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Most importantly the food was great!
Overall - Highly Recommended!
Tasty, unique menu bursting with flavour along with the cruise-like atmosphere are the main plusses for this diner, however be warned of the pricey items as they will most likely come in a smaller portion than expected.
Delicious lunch menu with lots of options. Good wine list. Lovely view of the Westgate Bridge & Marina. Great service. Definitely eating at this beauty again.
Had lunch work meeting it was amazing. The oysters were super fresh, the steaks cooked to perfection with a very fine and flavoursome reduction on top. Wine list good. Ambience unique. Service very attentive. I did not have dessert but saw the one coming out and they looked very good. Bread on table plenty. I will definitely be going back food service decor and view of bay great combination.
Beautiful food and such a cozy place in Winter. Staff are great & great selection of wine. Will highly recommend and most definitely be returning.
Booked a table for the wife and I for our anniversary and everything was perfect for us. Started with squid croquettes and stuffed portobello mushrooms, onto the Chicken & pumpkin risotto and Seafood Ragout and finished off with the Creme Brulee and Semifreddo for dessert. All meals were delivered perfectly along with great attentive service and the great views, I couldn't fault this place at all. Definitely recommend.
You get a great view from the Anchorage, looking out over the water. There's not a lot either side of it on The Strand, so the atmosphere is a little lacking, but we had some really flavoursome dips for an entree and a great steak & chicken dish for a main which didn't disappoint. Will admit it is quite pricey and perhaps you'd expect slightly more for that, but circumstances aside its a very nice dining experience.
We celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary last night and wow the food was amazing! Have been coming here over the last 9 years to celebrate special occasions and they never disappoint! You must try the oyster with salmon roe-delicious! Also the seafood platter was to die for! Thank you for making our night so enjoyable!
My all time favourite restaurant in Williamstown ... The most amazing and delicious food topped with outstanding service ! Jan and staff are amazing. I was there for dinner tonight with my husband  and we were totally blown away with the flavours of the lamb rack and the freshness of the seafood in the pasta dish. Calamari for the Entre was a fabulous choice and the homemade tiramisu along with the white chocolate fondant just fished the evening off perfectly ! The Anchorage has always been my restaurant of choice and has never let me down. Having had my 30th birthday party here along with my recent engagement celebration, I have never been so satisfied and happy anywhere else. Whether it's a casual meal or a celebration you will not be let down with the quality of the food and service !!  Not forgetting the breathtaking views of the marina and city as you are virtually right on the water. Just beautiful....
Thanks Jan and TeamÂ

Went for a late lunch and had a very enjoyable time. Calm and sophisticated decor creates the feeling of being on a wooden ship. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We shared the seafood platter, which was generous in size and full of flavour. Would recommend going there for a special occasion.
So sad this place is not in the entertainment book anymore. Loved it. The service is great and the food was all excellent! Great portion sizes and it's good produce cooked right. We will definitely be back. 4 people with wine $250. Oh, the view is the best as well. Half a point lost for coffee. Not the greatest coffee- doesn't suit the venue. Shame!
Just had a beautiful meal here, seafood pasta and steak, beautiful food and great service, will definitely come back, highly recommended
Thank you.
Beautiful food, location, ambience, service BUT we had to wait 1.5 hours for our meals to arrive. Â Nothing difficult - steaks, salad, vegetarian meal. Â Waitress was very attentive but I think she realised our meals had been forgotten when the table behind us had theirs after arriving some time after us. Â The kitchen doors were swinging but no food seemed to be coming out so perhaps they were short staffed that night. Â Over priced too for what we had but it was beautifully presented. Â I would recommend but I'd also suggest to keep the lines of communication open with the wait staff!
A beautiful fit out and stunning view perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon lunch celebrating a birthday. Service was good but food wise you are definitely paying for the view! Calamari entree and the bouillabaisse main were good, and thankful for the waitress asking if I needed bread to mop up the beautiful sauce.
Others were happy with their choices. Overall great experience will we rush back, no probably not. But will recommend.
Lovely food and beautiful view! What I love about this place is how well the acoustics are managed, with padded ceilings to absorb sound. A great place with an intimate feel.
Organised a work dinner recently at Anchorage. The view was beautiful (admittedly we were seated near the window) and the service was very attentive and friendly.
The food was very good value for fine dining and was cooked beautifully. I had the angel hair pasta with prawns, calamari and mussels. Although the mussels were on the smaller side, the dish was extremely generous.
Others on the table were also suitably satisfied with their choices.
I will be certain to dine there again.
Fantastic lunch! Marvellous setting! Superb staff! What more could you want?
Great variety of seafood. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Came here to surprise my seafood-obsessed-boyfriend for dinner a few weeks back, and we both loved it! From the moment we sat down on comfy inside seating, the view took our breathe away. Had a young gentlemen who was very attentive and friendly as our waiter. Ordered the foccacia, calamari, beetroot and crab salad and the seafood platter...with 3 alcoholic drinks. All up cost $150...which is reasonable for seafood. We left satisfied.
Will be back
Amazing seafood dishes.. No faults.. Recommend to other
Great service, good food. Ordered the seafood platter, was delicious and had a good selection of seafood- crumbed calamari and fish, fresh oysters, scallops, crab, bugs and smoked salmon. Could easily be split between two. The service was fantastic. Every waiter was friendly, as we walked out they all smiled and said goodbye.
Bloody Brilliant. We dined here Saturday night for my partners birthday after reading many reviews of restaurants in Williamstown I certainly picked the right one! From the moment we stepped foot inside we were greeted by friendly staff, the décor is just stunning keeping in theme in a classy way and killer water views. Nina our waitress introduced herself & we felt so at home seated in the window. We had the oysters along with the crumbed calamari and the birthday boy had the prawn cocktail for entrée, YUM! For mains the salmon & the blue eye were our picks and we left nothing on the plate. Credit to Nina who still managed to recommend a lovely additional bottle of wine (Verdelho, which we wouldn't normally order but she hit the nail on the head) to us whilst serving a huge party in for a 70th. Our glasses were never empty, our plates were cleared without even noticing but she was always just a glance away if we needed anything . I must thank the lovely hostess for organising very quickly might I add a dessert with a candle to surprise my partner. Much appreciated! We will be back & I am recommending to everyone. Well done the team at Anchorage!
Fantastic. Had our one year anniversary tonight and had a fantastic dinner, the scallops were lovely and the kilpatric Divine!!!
We both had fish from the specials board, I had flounder, and hubby had Baramundi who is safe with fish ( ie flake from chippery lol) but managed to devour it, wines were also lovely and we were spoilt for choice.
Unfortunately a little to full for deserts as the meals weren't massive but more importantly a taste sensation!!!
Please keep up the good work, as Williamstown restaurants have let us down over the years.
Management Response to 'What a disappointment'. This woman was escorted from the restaurant and is banned from future visits.
Rude, agressive to staff and waited no more than 10 minutes to be served, despite having no booking, moving tables, and expecting to be catered to before guests who had booked, with apparent allergies to preservatives which she loudly claimed to the embarrassment of the next table. Snappy, with nil manners whatsoever. My staff are NOT there to be spoken to poorly and aggressively.
Yes, a drink was inadvertently added to her account, however the correct one was presented BEFORE any discussion had taken place and given complimentary hand cut chips, which she doesn't mention.
As advised to you, your custom is not required.

Management Response to 'Horrible Seafood Platter'. This woman's claims are false and misleading. The ONLY fried contents in our Seafood Platter are the piece of Lakes Entrance Rockling and the panko fried calamari.
Emails from this woman show of her intention to sully the business name with incorrect claims. Posting on EVERY website because she says 'she got her back up' and was not responded to within 24hrs. Indeed, she has posted the same review twice on Urbanspoon alone.
Her account was paid in full and nothing mentioned to ANY of the wait staff involved. HAD her claim been true, it would have been rectified immediately. Despite serving over 20 of these platters on the same night, not ONE issue from other customers.
Our Seafood Platter contains Fresh Sand Crab, Grilled Moreton Bay Bug, Oysters, Flash Fried Calamari, Fresh King Prawns and Smoked Salmon and the aforementioned crumbed piece of Rockling. This has not altered in 6 months and is on our menu as a 'Favourite'.
Very nice. Views and ambiance beautiful, a lovely nautical feeling. DĂ©cor really nice setting right down to the toilets, and hand towels. Meals are very nice, however a touch over priced. . A few more dishes, 3-4 on the mains wouldn't hurt, along with perhaps some nice daily specials. The service is excellent, wine menu a little pricey, and could do with an option for BYO wine only. BYO would certainly see us frequent it a little more often. Don't mind paying $80 or so for a nice bottle, but not when its only worth $20. However will certainly be back
Amazing place but average food. Anchorage is probably the most romantic outdoor seating I have been to in melbourne, the sunset and dinners in summer time is just perfect however food is extremely average and extremely expensive. A very delectable menu but overpriced for quantity and taste. Good selection of wine too. Not going back in a long time!
